What is the age limit for young player of the year? I would go with Hazard, if he wasn't Chelsea.

300K? In what currency? EDIT: Oh, you probably meant total, not each. My bad.

The idea is good and I would very much like to see it happen, but there are a few issues. First, how will it fit the schedule? All the domestic league and cup games require a lot of endurance, adding such a dream league to the mix would drain the players even more, hence inevitably the quality of the games will drop because of fatigue (just look at Mata to see the difference between a fatigued player and a rested one). Secondly, giving such insane money just for participating is extremely unfair towards other clubs. The differences in revenue between top clubs and others are massive, this would only broaden the gap and make domestic leagues less competitive. And now, the most important part.......... NO LIVERPOOL HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

http://www.google.com/glass/start/ Look at this gizmo. I remember watching futuristic films as a kid thinking "no way I'm ever gonna see that", but has the future arrived already? It truly looks like something taken out of a sci-fi movie. Would you buy it? Will it be a hit or a miss?

Exactly. The thing I posted earlier from the deuteronomy was one of the many sexist things in there. I read some of the stuff and it was very clear that women were treated as objects. For example one passage stated the man who raped a woman had to pay her father 50 something and marry his daughter. Found it, here it is: Deuteronomy 22:28-29 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay her father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives. EDIT: One more point I would like to make, then I will shut up as this is going seriously off-topic now. Anyway, if God or Allah or whoever is as powerful as those books claim him to be (he created the Earth, the Sun, the stars and everything that exists), then think, would he really bother himself with such petty things like how many shekels somebody has to pay for something? Wouldn't he rather give advice on how to take care of the planet properly or something more grand like that? From what I know they seem more like lawbooks than anything, they are full of rigid rules of what not to do and what are the punishments etc. If I were such a powerful being, I certainly wouldn't break a sweat about such trivial matters. I would actually find such primitive squabbles laughable. If you are able to create whole planetary systems and you know absolutely everything, then why would you care if somebody broke some tiny little law on Earth? In my view you would have to violently subdue every kind of logic and rational thinking in order to believe in that. I'm not ready to do that and I don't understand how so many are. But that's just my point of view of things.

Sorry for derailing this thread, I will keep out.

So you concede that I won? I accept that :tophat: But in all seriousness I don't care about religion enough to have some kind of in depth argument over it, it bores me, I just consider it evil (maybe it's not the best word to use how I feel about it, but I just don't like it), but I don't go fighting religious people, I keep it to myself because otherwise I wouldn't be any better than the jews leaving after that muslim scored. I'm no extremist in that sense, I just may have an "extreme" opinion for some people. If you accept that I consider it bad then I accept that you don't, that's how two non-agreeing adults work things out. Where does my dislike stem from? Most likely from the books I've read about my nation being abused, killed and enslaved by christians in the past. It was so bad that we almost became extinct. That was probably the moment I started seeing it as nothing more but evil.

I'm not singling out christianity, in fact I don't care for none of the religions enough for me to single one out. I didn't answer it because it's a silly analogy and I won't waste my time on it. If you want to talk about books and films, do it in proper forums or open another thread. Deuteronomy 22:23-24 If a man happens to meet in a town a virgin pledged to be married and he sleeps with her, you shall take both of them to the gate of that town and stone them to death—the young woman because she was in a town and did not scream for help, and the man because he violated another man’s wife. You must purge the evil from among you. How do you defend this piece of noble and moral story? A woman stoned to death for not crying for help, my word.

It is not. I haven't read the bible or whatever, but I've seen excerpts of it and there are some vile stuff in there. For example it instructs to punish raped women by killing them. There are also sadistic episodes against animals, among other things. Then there is God himself sending his son on Earth to suffer and die for mankind, instead of coming himself perhaps to sweep the mess he created. Father of the year that bloke was.

I'm not talking about individual cross bearers who silently claim to believe in God while sinning from left to right. I'm talking about the grand scale of religion, and it is my firm belief it is evil and the world would be better off without it, there is nothing you can say to convince me otherwise. The way the Middle East and other nutcase regions are divided by such fictitious matters is a good example of how it divides groups of people and makes them commit crimes against each other for absolutely nothing. Every religion in itself is divided by believing different things and interpreting the "teachings" differently than the others of the same faith. You have the lutherans and the catholics and the protestants and tens or even hundreds of other christian subdivisions, they can't even agree on anything among themselves. What does it give them by labelling themselves? Does it make them feel better? You have all the different hostile muslim factions fighting each other, even though they believe the same god. It's ridiculous. It is no different from choosing political parties.

The problem is with religion, it's a brainwashing tool and the extremists are simply inevitable products.
-
Further enforces my conviction that all religion is evil.

How are Kagawa and Eden even comparable? They play different positions and roles. Sent from my GT-S5660 using Tapatalk 2

I don't think anyone ever bullied Drogba like that. I think the fact that Ferdicunt did that to Torres shows how little respect others have for him, they know he's a pushover and easy to crack. You do that to Drogba, he would dedicate the rest of the game to humiliate you. Nobody wanted to be his target, Carragher will agree.

One brilliant goal in your first season - okay, it happens, doesn't show anything. But this was already something like fourth stunner from him this season. He's something special. In fact even Mata's first season wasn't this good, and it's still not over.
-
Btw, how do you rate Webb's performance? Was he MU's 12th man?
-
Great 2nd half, the best performance I've seen in a loooong time. But now the contrast in motivation is evident - the team just isn't bothered with lesser games, they just turn up when they feel like it. That isn't good enough. You can't choose the games where you play and where you don't. I remember under Mourinho there was no difference between playing Liverpool in CL or Charlton, the team was fighting in every game. Anyway, enough about the mood spoilers Onto the good stuff. I will talk only about 2nd half as I didn't properly see the first one and since we were behind 2-0 I take it we were shit (and as much as I saw we indeed were). I liked the drive and desire of our team. We spread wide and pressurized as much as we could, stayed compact at the back. Luiz put on a textbook show, he was massive defensively. Midfield looked much better with Mikel, much more composed and solid and it unleashed Ramires. Talking about Ramires, this guy was my MOTM - he was all over the place, harrassing and running and breaking play and scoring. Hazard made all the difference offensively, monster of a performance. Mata was again influential. All in all this is the kind of team performance I want to see every game, not this lacklustre dross we're now used to. Anyway, I never thought we were going to come back considering the form we're in, but we did it, so all's well. Hell, I didn't even put too much hope on properly contesting MU, glad I was proved wrong and that somewhere deep down there still is some fighting spirit left in the team.

The papers were always going to run this story, weren't they. It's a seller. I wouldn't believe a word they say regarding Torres prior to transfer window.

Just realized it has a big downside - it doesn't show notifications (likes, quotes, mentions). Can't it somehow be activated in ACP? Or have I maybe missed smth? Sent from my GT-S5660 using Tapatalk 2
