Ricardo Carvalho is the only defender I've seen who I'd say is a better all-round centre-back than Terry, so I would say that sort of comparison is slightly above what Stones-Zouma could achieve. But, they're young, and as long as they're given opportunities, but at the same time not thrown in at the deep end, and they're surrounded by experience (JT, Ivanovic, Azpi, etc.), then they could at least blossom into a fruitful partnership that equals the current Cahill-Terry pairing. And do we really try and sign every player that JT or Branna get in a fight with?

I don't either, but if we wanted an outstanding forward we'd have spent big money on Higuain or Benzema. Costa is the undisputed number one; Remy and Falcao give us different options, and let's be honest, Falcao will be a step up on an ageing Drogba.
