  1. Talks so much BS, that account does. Our youth academy consists of clones of Gordon Banks, Franco Baresi, Zinedine Zidane and Eric Cantona apparently.
  2. I have a sneaking suspicion he may well end up doing so.
  3. He can have the shittest season of his career for all I care as long as he scores a 90th minute winner at the Emirates.
  4. HALLELUJAH, THE VOICE OF REASON! We can't have both and some people just don't fucking get it. Thanks for this post B.
  5. Yep, remember how ugly the first adidas kits were with the stripes under the badges?
  6. That's disappointing. I ordered the 13/14 home kit and got it three days before release. Very surprised to hear that.
  7. Sell him he's shit, if he can't score in a meaningless friendly game against a bunch of retards then we should sell him and sign Messi immediately. If any fucking mug thinks I'm being serious they should end themselves.
  8. I only ever used to play in goal and even half-way through a season I could get very mentally fatigued, and it's even worse after an extended break. It's especially hard for GKs.
  9. Even if he's "fat" (if you guys think he's fat you should see my belly..) he's still beautiful

  11. It's pretty clear that Ivan is going to be the new VC. He was always "next in line" after JT-Drogba-Cech last season anyway.
  12. Dear the Bedwetters, We lost 3-nothing to Werder Bremen this time last year and things worked out okay. Stop pissing yourselves over a friendly. Love from Alex xxxx
  13. No-one gives a shit about Heysel, but this - fuck me, we're worse than the Nazis.
  14. No. Because we have a stadium we need to pay for, and we're trying to operate within our means. But I see your point. City, Barcelona, Real all spend millions and no severe sanctions are ever imposed on them. Makes you think FFP is in essence a load of bollocks, but let's also take into consideration we don't need to spend millions. City have spent ridiculous money, Arsenal have spent, Liverpool have invested, and United are spending serious amounts also - they're all still miles behind us.
  15. They've tried to go all traditional, but it's made them look a right royal mess IMO.
  16. I agree with Steve, it looks really nice in the long sleeve version. I have to say that without that red stripe it'd be one of the nicest kits adidas have ever made for us. Oh well. Still a solid 7/10 and far better than that dross that is Arsenal's second kit!
  17. Absolutely, can't believe I forgot about that. Arguably their weakest area is their midfield. You can have all the pretty football players you could ever want, your Wilsheres, your Ozils, your Cazorlas, but without a stable presence behind them, you're never going to challenge.
  18. "Little details" such as needing a world-class striker, a more tactically-capable manager, and another midfielder to relieve the stress on Alexis. Little details, indeed. They're lightyears behind.
  19. I get the impression you might be slightly biased towards Falcao But I take your point, that's exactly what I've been saying about him. If it doesn't work out (in my mind it's 50-50; he could be a surprise or he could be terrible as he was at United), then what will it have cost us in the grand scheme of things? Next to nothing.
  20. Only time will tell. For every Neymar and Hazard there is an Eric Djemba-Djemba or Freddy Adu.
  21. Correction: Welcome to Bayern. The seat next to Pep is your's, Kev.
  22. Really not sure about that. Ricardo Carvalho is the only defender I've seen who I'd say is a better all-round centre-back than Terry, so I would say that sort of comparison is slightly above what Stones-Zouma could achieve. But, they're young, and as long as they're given opportunities, but at the same time not thrown in at the deep end, and they're surrounded by experience (JT, Ivanovic, Azpi, etc.), then they could at least blossom into a fruitful partnership that equals the current Cahill-Terry pairing. And do we really try and sign every player that JT or Branna get in a fight with?
