  1. Agreed, but not yet. If we concede a 2nd, we're fucked.
  2. So the referee books Fabregas for sarcastic applause, but doesn't book Vokes for kicking the ball away? Mourinho's right, the refs are shite.
  3. Feel for him. Betrayed by the board... have we not learnt our lessons from our last title defence? Utterly pathetic. I'm furious.
  4. Let's blame the manager for our captain's idiocy, and for replacing a kid who had 2 touches in 20 minutes. Solid.
  5. Not fit to lace up Terry's boots. What a fucking stupid tackle to make at any time, but 15 minutes into the first match of the season? Talk about setting the tone as captain. Moronic.
  6. Mark my words - this will be a repeat of 15/16. It won't be as drastic, but we will not finish top 4, and Conte will walk. UNLESS he is backed in the transfer window. This is an embarrassment.
  7. I wholeheartedly agree. He'd be given next to no time to blossom and would be the latest young talent to waste away at Stamford Bridge.
  8. How is he an idiot? He's going to get far more game time at Milan than he ever would here.
  9. No, I wouldn't. He was doing what all players do in that sort of situation - trying to win his team a penalty to get back into the game. He's just the unlucky moron who a referee decided to make an example of. I don't think the referee wanted to send him off, but realised as soon as he'd given the free-kick for simulation that he was going to have to.
  10. 430-9d? Sorry, but as a cricketer, I just utterly hate that analogy! "Like a hockey score" might be more appropriate. That doesn't mean I disagree with you. We were lucky it was only 2-1 yesterday. How many times did they hit the post, 67?
  11. A close runner-up, IMO, but prone to the odd bad game. Cesar is just awesome. I find it very difficult to put into words just how professional he is in terms of his attitude towards the game. His positional awareness and appreciation of the demands of the CB role is incredible considering he has effectively played as either a RB or LB his entire career.
  12. Yesterday's defeat can be a blessing in disguise - Cahill, Alonso, Moses, Matic should be nowhere near the starting line-up.
  13. Wouldn't mind that - but crying out for something other than white and/or yellow! Why not be bold, and have something orange or purple?
  14. Abso-fucking-lutely not. The best Chelsea team ever - IMO, our 06/07 team - wouldn't have surrendered like little bitches in a game of such magnitude as those turds did yesterday.
  15. So... nobody going to criticise him, because he doesn't have shit haircuts and doesn't dab? Utterly horrendous yesterday. It doesn't tarnish the stellar season he's had, but he was bloody awful yesterday. IMO, culpable for the second goal, and it was indecision between him and Costa which led to Sanchez' opener, too.
  16. The only outfield player who can hold their head up after yesterday. Credit to him for not giving in, like the rest of those numpties did.
  17. Typically, he delivers in big games - but seemingly only if they are at Stamford Bridge! Anonymous yesterday.
  18. He's had a super season, but he will have severely tarnished his reputation after that dive yesterday.
  19. He's had, what - 3 or 4 bad games this season? Can't really moan at him too much. Gives the team an awful lot - in the last 5 mins, he was basically playing as a central midfielder, pushing the team forwards. He's the sort of risk-taker we need in situations such as yesterday!
  20. Agreed - I said in the Matic thread that the only decision of Conte's that I disagreed with yesterday was Matic's inclusion ahead of Fabregas. Somebody, enlighten me - what can Matic do that Fabregas cannot; other than give the ball away in stupid areas?
  21. Dominated by Ramsey and Xhaka - that says a lot, really, doesn't it? Not good enough and I wouldn't lose sleep over selling him to United or another Premier League side. Technically very limited; what does he offer us? Playing two defensive midfielders set the tone for yesterday's first-half debacle, IMO, which is the one criticism that can be levelled at Conte. Fabregas offers so much more - people say he is weak defensively... okay, so tell me where Matic's strengths lie? He's been made to look good because of how good Kante is.
