He just always seems to make bad decisions! Or he makes a stupid foul, or he takes the worst decision to shoot on goal from a bad position... And mostly just starts running with the ball and his head down... straight into the defenders... I praise him for his work-rate and commitment... But I'm afraid his Chelsea days are over. We just need a better and more intelligent player on his position!!

José's mindgames clearly got the better of him yesterday.... Such a shame. I expect a lot more from a professional! Needs to focus on the 1 thing that is really important: qualification. Putted up a one man show of pushing, face to face discussions and bad fouls! Other than that he clearly was looking for HIS 1st CL goal => very bad decision when Cesc was all by himself on that one counter attack! He really let me down. Needs to step up his game again in competition!!! We need to EPL title now and we need a Diego Costa on top of his game for that!!!

Interesting discussion wether or not he's to blame for the 2nd goal... Sure he put a step forward ... that made him have to go backwards again and influenced his balance. On the other hand... perfect lobbed header, just underneath the crossbar. I cannot see many GK's save this one. Something to keep in mind. The fact he did put that step forward... Been doing this all game long... clearing every single dangerous cross that came into our box! The fact that he does this is just very relieving. You don't want to think of the danger that could've come from all the other crosses if Tibo would stay on his line all the time!! Just very unfortunate. I think we have to take this for granted... He clears 90% of dangerous crosses & sometimes he will make the wrong bet (by stepping in). If he get's this out of his game... I think he can easily become the best GK ever! Dominating in the air, perfect reflex saves on his line and good shot stopping!! The only thing I concern is why he almost always pushes the ball into the game again... instead of pushing it to the side/end line...!!

We are f**** Chelsea FC!!! We play at the Bridge, OUR Bridge... We come against 10 after 30 minutes and STILL we have tactics to wait for them??????? WTF José. Just finish them for christ sake!!!!! This one PSG didn't win... we LOST it because of our own style of play!!!! Possession: Chelsea 51% vs PSG 49% (90 minutes with 11 vs 10)

Apparently not... At this moment he has no club!

Best news of the day!! Future star of the team!! Congratulations to the Musonda family; Charly has signed a new deal extending his #CFC stay to 2019 and brother Tika has signed until 2016. — Chelsea Youth (@chelseayouth) 3 maart 2015

Well he certainly has to work on 'better celebration faces' On topic: his general expression is just: unhappy. No need to worry about that! Other call it 'always focused'! So you can also see it as a good thing
-
I haven't seen the celebration footage. But they both look rather happy in this pic, no ?

These stupid getty images pictures cannot be linked directly

Great picture IMO. it doesn't matter who plays! It's all about the team! KTBFHH!!! "http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/464887312"

3 more assists added to his tally against Werder Bremen! Gar nicht schlecht Kevin !!

Way to go Gooners !!

I kind a agree what you say! But since he's already 'on the ground' so often... if he starts diving (out of protection) we will end up with HIM getting yellow cards! So I don't know if that's the best idea. On the other hand: something else you said is really to think about!! Creating next to no chances because Hazard is fouled all the time! For a team like us, to depend on a single player for the creative, attacking vibes that lead to chances... that simply is to cry for!! It has been a major problem for the last three years! With now Cesc and finally a good striker in Costa, things are already better. BUT they were suspended & injured => we depend on Eden. They both have an average/bad game (vs PSG) => all of our attack depends on Eden, and he's been kept out of the game by fouls! This is actually really frustrating!!! Willian, Oscar, Cuadrodo (yes already)... they are decent players BUT not the players that will change the game our create many chances for others. Imo they's simply not good enough for a top club. Look at Man Utd: Falcao, Van Persie, Rooney, Di Maria, Mata, Januzaj, Young & Valencia (even Fellaini)... Man City: Aguero, Toure, Silva, Nasri, Bony (Dzeko, Jovetic) PSG: Ibra, Cavani, Pastore, Lavezzi, ... => we are really falling behind IMO (even tough we're on top of the league ironically). If we would have 1, 2 more creative attacking TOP players.... creating chances against a team like PSG would absolutely not be a problem anymore!

It's also fair to say that I traveled all the way to London (thx to you by the way :tophat: ) with the idea to see 4 countrymen. I was a little dissapointed to see only 2 in the starting line up. Especially Thibaut not playing was an unpleasant surprise! But luckily it's not all about me... Otherwise also KDB and Lukaku (in the right blue) would be on the pitch. Oh yeah I think I can be biased sometimes
-
Imo he has indeed being 'used' be the media (once again!!) to pull his words out of proportion! He's not saying he wants to leave Everton this summer, nor is he saying they're a rubbish club! He just shows ambitious (like he always does) and says eventually he wants to get back to on of the top clubs in the world. I'm very sorry but who on this forum is thinking of Everton as one of the TOP Clubs on this planet? Feel free to raise hands! Lukaku was clearly talking about the likes of Chelsea, Man U, Man City, Liverpool, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus, AC Milan, Internationale, etc... But sure... It's more fun to slash down the boy with 'the big mouth' who failed to prove himself here at the club! Stupid Lukaku with your big mouth... you should be happy that there are even clubs in the EPL that are willing to pay you to play some football!! We don't care you scored 39 goals in 91 games and 2,5 seasons in the EPL, nor do we care about the fact your 21(!!!!) years old. We were bashing from day one... and we will continue bashing you until you shut up and leave the EPL!

Skipper, you speak Dutch. Now tell me if you think he said something wrong? For the English speakers: How did it feel to play at the bridge again, where you were sent away, but also the club where the manager (Jose) did praise you as player last week? "It was amazing, a real great club! I was welcomed really nicely by both players and fans. They know that eventually I'm a good player. But I still want to grow as a player to then, one day, play for one of these big clubs again." You haven't really closed the chapter it seems? Are you secretly hoping to one day get a spot in the starting line up here again? "No, there are other clubs on earth. You always have to keep all options open, that's true. But I just want to grow and develop as a player and eventually get back to one of the world's top clubs."

Hi Alex! I understand what you're saying and I can agree on that. Let me rephrase what I wanted to say with 'mind games'. (Also bare in mind that I posted this before José gave his explanation, which was a very reasonable one imo!) In general I'm not a big fan of rotation amongst GK's and certainly not in benching them after a weaker game. IMO a goalkeepers most loyal friend is: confidence! So as a coach, you cannot protect your 1st GK enough I think. Even after a total blunder... (or maybe even two)... I would still show confidence to my 1st GK because that's just what they need. Also frankly I don't care if that 1st GK is Thibaut or Petr (this is José's choice and the boys should fight for this spot in training). I absolutely had nu clue Petr was this close of getting the EPL clean sheets records. He deserves this more than anyone else. So sure I would take this in consideration when interchanging those two! But I would only do this if I knew my 1st GK (in this case Thibaut) is mentally strong enough to cope with this situation of being benched after 'a weaker game'. Apparently this is also the case with Courtois, otherwise I'm pretty sure José wouldn't have done it. In the long shot I also don't think it's a healthy thing to have 2 of the T0P 5 GK in the world in the same team. They miraculously seem to have a good connection at the moment (let's pray this remains until we are the League Champs!)... but eventually a situation like this is a recipe for disaster. Furthermore it's not really fair to one of the two that have to be happy with 'second pick'. None of the Top 5 Goalies in the world deserve this status. It makes my heart bleed to see Petr on the bench all the time!! But from our (fans) point of view... we are very spoiled and we should enjoy this as long as we could of course !!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBJr6s-5hk0 How his english has improved drastically in these 2 years! I know a french speaking 'wenker' in the north of London that lives in the city for almost 20 years now who speaks worse then Eden
-
No news on him being injured. Must be Jose that wanted to protect him (which wasn't really necessary IMO). But in the end Petr really saved us 2 times today! Still you shouldn't play mind games with your GK I think... always dangerous.
-
To be fair he was sooo close to score 2 goals tonight... If it wasn't for 2 great saves by Cech!
-
I have bad memories about Tim Howard

My second game live at the Bridge!! Shout out too our man @Alex for his assistance! Cheers mate!

On the upside... this performance ended the unbeaten record of Bayern!!! Way to go KDB! If we don't get an unbeaten record... Well so is Bayern
