  1. Every time a ball is send in deep and you think the pass is to wide so the defender will without any doubt be the first on the ball... Lukaku almost always seems to have that extra acceleration it needs to get on the ball first. He really amazes me time after time! And not just once... I think I saw more than 30 games with him in it. Conclusion: YES, He is really fast!!!
  2. IF he would be on the bench all the time, I agree with you he rather should stay in Lille. But why do you think he would lose himself at Arsenal? He has proven himself in the french league and clearly is ready for a new level! And I'm sure he is ready for a new level! I don't see him coming to Arsenal to sit on the bench...
  3. Now I read that Lille's manager says he really isn't for sale! And that he's at least twice the value of Nasri. Even a € 30 million offer of Arsenal would not be enough for Lille! They state that Lille has already lost important players and that now the team is build up around Hazard. Furthermore he says that Nasri's contract was in his last year... Eden is still under contract until 2015! *** Lille. I really hope they let him go there... He has nothing to learn anymore in the French League!
  4. I don't have a specific article to link to... but I have read this in Belgian press a number of times now in the past two years. Everytime he's been ask what team he would like to play for... he answers that Arsenal would be a good team for him. BUT there is a big difference in Eden's love for Arsenal compared with the love that Lukaku has for Chelsea. It's not that eden sleeps with a shirt of Van Persie ! How I feel it... he likes the way Arsenal plays... but of course also loves to play in another big team in the pl.
  5. My thoughts exactly! There is this special 'moment' & Atmosphere around Lukaku these days. He signed at Chelsea to see his dream come true. His video turned up... Fans are loving his passion for the bridge... and he REALLY wants nothing more then walking through the tunnel to the pitch... Don't waste this moment by loaning him out to another team. This guy is 100% a blue. Use this moment... maybe something really amazing can happen! If he's able to score a goal quickly and he feels that our fans are supporting him... I predict he can have an amazing start in a Chelsea shirt!!
  6. Really hoping AVB puts Lukaku on the bench and letting him sub for 25 minutes at the end of the game. I know Lukaku well and follow him since his first game at Anderlecht. There isn't a single player in the blues lockerroom that wants to play at the bridge so hard than he does. If he manages to impress in the first few minutes he gets at the bridge & if the crowd supports him... a great career with us could be launched! Remember Vermaelen's first game at Everton two years ago... with a lot of confidence from his debut game... he became more important every single game. Lukaku did the same at Anderlecht 2 years ago... Really hoping AVB gives him the chance to let this happen at the Bridge & not at Brittania Stadium. This guys is a blue!! Let him be a blue... and not a 1/2 Potter.
  7. De Bruyne is absolutely an amazing talent!! Let him play another year like this at Genk and his price will go up with millions. And Madrid and the Milans (or even the new $$$ teams like City & PSG will be there to compete with us). The deal with us buying him and then loaning him out to Genk for one more year would be perfect! This action says it all for me: not only the fact that he strikes this ball perfectly in the topcorner... the most important thing is that it comes to his mind to attempt such an impossible strike. At an age of 18 & playing in the team that went for the championship, this shows how amazingly talented this guy is!!
  8. I really hope this isn't true! I absolutely agree on the fact that Lukaku still has to improve his game. (for instance he tends to always miscalculate on high balls from the keeper. He also often stops the action after striking the ball on goal 1 time, therefore missing out on rebound opportunities often,...) BUT I also think that no one in the blues dressing room is SO eager to get on that pitch than he is! In his first game (hopefully a substitution of 25 minutes) he will do his utmust to prove everyone Chelsea is the right team for him. He will enjoy every minute of it and play with all the passion there is. In the case of Lukaku... I think his first game is of massive importance. If he plays well , maybe even gives an assist or even score... I'm 100% sure he is launched for a amazing season. Leaning on the great performance of the previous game every single time and getting more and more confident. The same thing happened with Vermaelen at Arsenal. Game after game he got better... Just because he got an amazing debut and tons of confidence to go on with! I hope Lukaku does the same for us here at the Bridge! A good debut game means he's launched. Remember he did the same thing at Anderlecht... with a lot of pressure on his shoulders... he never got a fallback in 2 seasons! Come on AVB get him on the bench againt Norwich!!
  9. Hazard has always stated his dream club to play for was Arsenal (just like Lukaku did with us). Unfortunately for them... Eden also wants to play CL this season... and measure himself with the best teams in Europe. So if Arsenal manages to qualify for the CL tonight... I'm pretty sure Eden will make his move to Emirates Stadium next week. BUT if they don't... I see a big opportunity for other teams playing CL to finally draw his attention. If Lille stops to being **** about his transfer fee... I see him make a big move in the next week. The fact that Lukaku plays in Chelsea could be a huge advantage for us to let him sign at the bridge! However Eden is well aware of the fact that he's a great talent... I'm sure he will want to feel that the club his signs for... REALLY wants him and also believes in him. Not sure with Mata having signed here... he probably will feel like 2nd choice. Still hoping he could sign for us though! So prayers that Arsenal will lose in Italy tonight. And then hoping AVB get's into Eden's head, bringing over the message he really needs him.
  10. Mats Rits is known as one of the most talented young players in Belgium. He himself was announced to be THE star of the season 2008-2009. Making his debut in Jupiler League with only 16 years of age. So het got the attention of the media in preseason, especially after scoring 2 goals in his debut game. ... unfortunately for him though a certain R. Lukaku also made his debut that year at Anderlecht (same age:16 years old) and he started by scoring goals week after week. The unusual fact that a 16 year old (Rits) started in a first team of our league soon became unimportant as another 16 year old kid just did way better in his debut year. I think this was though for Mats Rits to go through, from center of attention... to 'hey why can't you score every game? Lukaku is better'. So his progress took a bit of a rest during these 2 years. Also I think the coach (Glen De Boeck) wanted to protect him by not putting too much pressure on his young shoulders and dropping him in as a starter every week. Therefore Rits got out of the picture for a while. This summer he made his move to Ajax. He soon grabbed attention by showing amazing things on training and in friendlies. For starting in the first team... De Boer thinks it's a little bit too soon... so Rits has to prove his quality in the A1 team of Ajax first. Conclusion. Rits for sure is an amazing talent. Only thing is... these days Belgium have many many young talents that immediately impress in big teams (like Hazard, Vertonghen, De Bruyne, Courtois, Lukaku, Mertens, Chaldi, Fellaini, Vermaelen, Dembele...). I think Rits needs a little more time (who can blame him?!) to prove the rest of the world he himself also fits that group of Belgian super talents.
