Respect BlueFox. I agree on the fact that everyone should be able to have his own opinion! This is what a forum is about.... So you're free to tell & think what you want. But just take in mind some items are a bit sensitve. Don't get offended by the Arsenal insults. It's perfectly logical to still very much like Petr Cech after all he did for the club! So don't even bother if others don't give him the credit he deserves! On the other hand... the future's already arrived in the person of Tibo. One of the (if not the) best young GK's in the world. Give him some time and credit... he has very big potential to make it at the Bridge. His clean sheet records at Atletico & the Belgium NT are not a coincidence! He's world class! Same thing with Hazard. Absolutely agree he really had an awful season. On the other hand... you see what he's able off (last games & in the EURO's)! So this guy is actually really simple to understand! He's a boy that just loves the game. Give him a free role and he will bring you magic. Glue him to his line and give him a lot of defensive tasks.... and he will lose his joy to play! Simple as that! If the 2016-2017 season starts off well... I will be very happy if we all get out of this negative vibe in this forum!

Blue_Fox, I'm nog a daily visitor on TC... but I tend to follow most topics frequently. Although Im' Belgian, I consider myself moderate, unbiased and rather objective in most discussions here. But I have to admit that I also thought a few times: "another of these guys that loves to bash belgian players based on tabloid articles". => so you might think twice before posting all these things. You can easily offend the belgian fans. ps: I do agree with you that this is not Belgium FC BUT the last 3 seasons we have/had about six of our NT (Michy & Charly included) players in a blue shirt... So it makes sense a lot of Belgians keep on following them.

We would be really stupid if we would sell him!!!! He's a world class GK aged 23! I miss real die hard football fans here on this forum. They would NEVER look at these things in short term. One lousy season... That sucks. But this will be forgotten in a glimpse very soon! It feels like TC is overfilled with SUCCESS fans who switch teams/forums like cars!

His trademark is also a very rarely seen (& very effective) tackle from behind! It's a real joy to watch because it's so effective and enables him to set up the counter attack really fast! Demonstrated numerous times in the video below (0.46, 0,52, 2,36, 2,38!)

Every top club should have a clear #1 GK and a very decent #2 replacement. Out of all positions, the GK is the most sensitive to confidence drops. This is why a #1 GK should ALWAYS have the full support of the club & fans! There is no need in questioning him every time 'he could've done more or better'. We have one of the best GK in the world at the moment... we might as well give him our full support. He can easily be our #1 for 10years, become a Chelsea legend & become the best GK in the world! IMO the current situation is perfect. Tibo #1 and Asmir as a very very decent back up when needed!

It was amazing. At age 16 he was ripping the Belgian league a part! Topscorer in his first season. Truly mind blowing for a kid his age! On top of that... he was also already a massive bloke. When I was talking to him ... I just felt like a 12 year old boy who needed to go to the gym asap ! I was amongst the first to know he signed at Chelsea and I was really happy about that! I just knew he would make it at the top. But he was just to eager to prove himself to the world. Couldn't cope with being dropped into the reserves squad week in and out. I know AVB didn't want to take too many risks... with our 50 million star and didier as ST... he was actually fighting a lost battle. Too eager too soon... should've gone from Anderlecht to West Brom instead. He would have gained an extra season in the EPL and let there be no doubt about his goals scoring abilities. I'm happy he can finally prove himself now to the rest of the world. And you can take my word for granted, his attitude really isn't bad. He's just 1000% ambitious and does/says stupids things because of this sometimes. Then again... ambitious people (most of the time) always get where they want. I really have no doubt at all Romelu will be an important striker in one of europe's top 5 teams really soon! He just wants it soo badly he will reach it!

Fair play to you Fox. You absolutely have the right not to be fond of these players. I have no problem with that. But I do have problems with all the wrong things that are being said, especially here on this forum. Then again... it's just a football forum and there is freedom of speech of course! Lukaku in Chelsea's fans eyes is just a lost cause... I think I will stop putting effort in this matter :). Same thing with KDB. I think it's a logical thing to do when a 'failed' player is rather successful at his new EPL club. People who are bashing Eden and Tibo are really getting me mad. They are proven Chelsea players!! Bad season, sure thing. And also Tibo should think twice before saying something. But in all fairness, both his comments on the NT defense and the training sessions are just the truth. I don't blame you for not knowing our NT squad details. But you see how easy it is to follow the masses in opinions that are just not true. They are friends, no individuals. About Lukaku, it was not a friend of friend that knew him. I actually know him myself from his time at Anderlecht. My best friends dad was the Head of Medical Staff so I witnessed his progression from close range these two seasons and also discovered his 100% professional attitude and endless ambition. This last thing caused all the bad charma because he wants too much to quickly (hence the move to Chelsea at age 19 and wanting to be in the squad!).

Sure I agree, and you're absolutely right! But don't forget about how the media pushes towards answers. Tibo conceded 31 goals in 23 of his last official EPL games. Tibo conceded 10 goals in 23 official NT games. That's a massive difference.

Do you realize there is big difference in what one says to the media and the way it's interpreted? Courtois said we conceded too many goals at Chelsea (41 until now. Last season only 32!). If the journalist then asks if he prefers the Belgian one above the Chelsea defense... of course he needs to say yes. Do you know he only conceded 10 goals in 23 official games with the NT?! What is he supposed to say? It's just the truth. Although it may sound blunt.. He's just telling the truth. Lukaku amazingly has the image of having a bad attitude, whilst he's probable one of the most dedicated players out there. He's just ambitious! Always have been and always will. A lot has been said about the 'belgian fan boys' and their reactions towards some of the posts. Let me remind you: Lukaku is an unproven striker who didn't want to fight for his spot and will never make it to the top KDB is a loser with no ambition and no backbone willing to fight for a spot in the team Hazard was a chelsea hero and following the footsteps of Zola. All over sudden his a primadonna made of glass, fat and lazy! He needs to leave Courtois was one of the best Goalies in the world. Now he's the worst GK at the near post ever, a big mouth who needs to shut up... Please sell him That's 4 players in a row now... All starting XI in one of Europe's best national squads. Who's next? Probably Musonda being an arrogant *** who cannot say he needs a chance because the Primera Division is far from the Premier League. On top of that... (although I never agreed on) both Lukaku & KDB were unproven players at the Bridge and so it's difficult to defend them. But now also Courtois & Hazard are getting a punch. Both Chelsea Players who had great moments here. Also both of them are amongst the worlds biggest football prospects with a great future in front of them! You do realize you're talking about our fellow countrymen and players of our national team! We're very proud to finally have a great generation after years of being Europe's misfit! I think any Gk would prefer a combo Alderweireld, Kompany, Vermaelen, Vertonghen in front of him instead of our current back four. It's no shame to say since espacially Iva & Gary are really struggling this season. On the other hand, calling one of our squad players a cunt!!!!!??? He's a chelsea man! What's the use of comparing a 27 year old proven striker to a 22 year old kid? I can imagine you say, RIGHT NOW, Diego is the better striker of the two (but even then... very close!). But all other things are just b***. If you watch their stats... I think 90% would put there money on Lukaku for having the better career/stats! Did you know Romelu has already scored more goals in Europe than Diego? Stunning!

Praised a lot last season(s) for his unique ability to cope with so many tackels/fouls committed on him every single game... Now that it's clear there is no such thing as a 'Miracle Of Eden Hazard', the masses who once admired him are now blaming him for having no character and a bad mentality! Event hough even his father now stands up to demand rest for Hazard, who's been suffering from his hip injury for months now... but is forced to play! History returns! So much for evolution...

I totally agree! Massive difference with his clean sheet record in Spain. However... the defense he has in front of him would bring any goalkeeper to tears. The Lukaku run this weekend sums it all up. You should watch this again in Slo Mo! I play amateur league football (like to lowest of the lowest) and seeing this goal reminds me of my weekends :)!!

Maybe it's because English is not my mother tongue... but I interpreted the part: "you lot of plastics go as well" as Polo referring to the Belgian fans on this forum. You should know Polo is not a big fan of our belgian (ex) players and let's no opportunity pass by without telling this.

Decent game with some important saves. But I also had the idea he could have done a lot better at the 2nd goal. Certainly at the moment itself I thought: Tibo wtf are you doing so far at of your goal. On the other hand... Cavani ran away from 4 defenders with one simple turn (??!!). With a little defense... Tibo would probably could have stayed in his goal, preventing this goal to happen!

If you read well... you will see I was talking about football players in general.... Not only Hazard. If you refer to 'us belgians' as 'lot of plastics' that can f*ck off as well... Than I'm afraid our discussion will not last that long! It would be too easy for me to start bashing you as an Englishman. Maybe the difference is that, us belgians, are educated and polite, and for this do not belong on a football forum. You can have high words about all the Belgian players that were dropped by the almighty Chelsea. First Lukaku, then KDB,. And who knows in the near future also Hazard, Courtois & Musonda(?). But the first one is actually top striker in the League at the moment. KDB one of the best AM players in the world, same thing with Hazard. And Courtois is without doubt already amongst the best goalkeepers in the world at age 23(!). You can laugh about it and act that we are the big morons here... But you had the backbone of the current number 1 national team in hands! If you think you're better off because they are all gone. What else can I say than conclude you're just plane stupid or have absolutely no football knowledge at all?!!!
