I really cannot believe how this all happened in only 2-3 years! All top squad players... all to rival teams!
-
Don't ask me why... but I have a very strong feeling he will arrive at the bridge this week!!
-
I cannot believe people are blaming Hazard today... He was the only one who really was on level today. If you fail to see this... it just shows how much our whole team depend on him!! And in games like this... literally for everything: creating chances, runs, assists, counter attacking & scoring! And on top of that... he needs to track back all the time and defend! I'm very sorry... but in a TOP team like ours... this is really not normal and VERY VERY worrying to be honest!
-
It's already one thing we let him go so easily ... But now I also read we didn't even negotiate a sell on-clause???!!! So 1,5 year ago he was still a Blue... Today, Wolfsburg have even a strong hand in denying a 46£-64€ million offer!! I REALLY hope we learn from his case! NO more things like this in the future.

Pardon me, I never said Mou should justify all his choices. Nor did I say he needs to run behind players before/after every game to tell them why they were/weren't picked in the team => absolutely NOT! My whole point is... there is a moment where you feel this is getting a real problem. And this is not after 2 days, a week or even 2 weeks. But if you see after a month, 2 months or more... that things are not working well because such a stupid non event, management should take action! IMO this was the case with KDB. And this is not even Mou's fault, the whole management team failed IMO in the KDB case and is to blame. You can then say... well it's KDB's loss. Mou is the boss., he's a loser. Too bad for him because he could've been playing for our great team. But in this case this little boy just became one of Europe's best players just after he left Cobham. So yeah, in the KDB story... this is OUR loss! We f** had one of the best AM of the world in our squad and lost him because of 'bad communication' and stubbornness of our management team. Be honest for a second... If KDB wouldn't have been a chelsea player, the transfer talk section would be full of: "this is the player we need, get him for 50million, 70 million, etc.". This is always our loss!!
-
Actually I think the whole story isn't so difficult to understand. KDB had a great preseason & a good start of the season. After the dreadful team performance against Man U, Mourinho dropped KDB from the team. KDB probably thought he was the one to blame and got picked on. This was clearly not the case and could never be Mou's intention. Eventually this got off to a bad chemistry between Mou & KDB. Probably also shown in training. Which resulted in more bench time and eventually he was even dropped out of the team. You can blame KDB for sure for not fighting for his spot and leaving this 'non issue saga' behind him. But you can also easily blame Mou for letting it get so far. Clearly this was a non issue. Mou just had to talk with KDB (like all good managers do) and tell him what was happening (KDB mentioned in several interviews that MOU NEVER ever spoke to him!!). If he would have talked to him about this thing, none of this would have happened. KDB would be in the team again and would have probably played a great season. A manager should not run behind his players. A player who feels bad, needs to deal with this himself. However... if, as a manager, you feel things are going to wrong way... You need to take action. I can only think that Mou is just to stubborn or proud to deal with such items. And for me this is just bad management. This was a non issue that eventually led to KDB leaving the club! Of course the factor World Cup year was a massive one in this story. Any other year... none of this would probably have happened. BUT if KDB would return to the EPL for fucking 80million(!!!)... and he becomes decisive for Man City, there are only 2 conclusion to this story Mou is stubborn and this bad management led to a missed opportunity of around of 60 million(!!!) => Wolfsburg says Thank You Mucho! But most importantly: we lost a great player because of this whole 'non issue'. And f** yeah we could have used him!!!!!! I hope lesson are learned out of this!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnXhLwUfprg Actually his name is pronounced many times in this video. I know a lot of you guys don't want to see the broken leg of Marcin Wasilewski. Just might as well skip to sec 00.24! Here you have both his name and last name!
-
You never know how quickly things can go... But if he signs... you can go tell your friends how to correctly spell his name! Whi(pped cream) + Sel(ma) => Just the way you would pronounce this. The only thing you still have to is add a T in between! Whi + T + Sel Good luck boys! Now go and brag to your friends +
-
Sure, some of us have seen him in many games! I was even in the stadium the day he broke Wasilewski's leg... But don't judge him on that action. It was just a black page in his career book. IMO he never ever intended doing that. It was just clear bad luck. About his game: Witsel can play on the 6, 8 or even 10. He has always been the first name on the teamsheet in the NT. If you see the other names... you surely have to give him credit for that. Every single coach we had starts his line-up with the name: Witsel => so definitely a coach's favorite type of player. He's an excellent ball winner! Great recuperation game... also almost never looses a ball in possession. He has great technical abilities + can score goalsHe's actually the perfect guy to play just behind the creative #10 He gives the midfield a lot more 'body'. His strength and 50/50 ability gives you a powerful yet classy DMMust say lately he also get criticized by us, belgian fans. The reason is not that he's playing badly or make mistakes... He just seem to slow down our NT's game a lot these days. With Eden, KDB and Naingoilan next to him... You have the feeling he's always on the brake compared to the others (this might also be the task he gets...). But then again, Chelsea is not playing so quickly as our NT in transition these days... So this might not be a problem. Also this is actually the only 'weakness' I could think off atm. He's really an excellent DM who gives himself for the full 100% every game! You will love his determination. His heading ability, ball recuperation and his technique! Can also play as a CM or AM when needed! So surely I can see why coaches, also Mourinho, like this kind of player! Get in there Axel!!

SPOT ON! Couldn't have said it any better. It's one thing buying these super talents... but it's another thing to handle them. Actually they should never be put in the Reserve or U21's team. Maybe the first months, just to see how eager they are. But certainly not more than 1 year! Just loan them out, preferably back to their home clubs. They will continue the progress in their career instead of getting frustrated not getting any chances! I can't imagine Musonda wants to play with the U18's/U21's for a 3rd consecutive year. He wants to finally prove what he's worth! Keeping him in in the U21 for another year and not loaning him out... will simply end up in one thing: He will leave the club! And that would be a massive massive mistake!!!! Just because of stubborn behavior. If Mou doesn't want him in preseason... at least give the kid a break and send him out on loan immediately so he can at least have a full preseason with a new club! No need for waiting another month, this will only do damage to his progress + his love for our club! Just send him to Monaco... perfect club for him!

Several Belgian media websites are reporting that Aston Villa & Liverpool agreed on Benteke. Transfer price will be €46,5 million. This makes Benteke the most expensive Belgian player out there (for a while I guess => KDB, ...).

It's funny to see how quickly things can change in Football. Picture from 3 years ago. If Witsel comes... we need a good photoshop talent to swap the colors of the jerseys!

I waited a long time for my first game at the bridge... Eventually chose the London derby against West Ham in 2013-2014 season. It became a scoreless draw 0-0. The ONLY home game in which no goal was scored in the whole season ! Must say it was an expensive trip to London ... but at least I saw all of OUR boys in action! Amazing experience. So my opinion: just go dude! And let that blue blood in your veins flow harder!! :blue scalf:

I really don't understand people who are saying Petr is a traitor! Clearly anyone with a little empathy knows that a man of his status should not be sitting on a bench!! Imagine how confronting it is for him to be behind Tibo in the picking order... a GK that is far younger than you... at YOUR homeclub! though nut to crack! The fact that he chooses Arsenal? Guys... you tend to forget he's been living in London for the biggest part of his career. Staying in London (family wise) would always be his 1st choice. Don't forget that Petr didn't force his way out of the club... it was more or less a statement... "we have younger & better now... so stay if you want, but go if you should"! We can only take a bow for the amazing career & moments Petr had with us!! Also the way he dealt with Tibo taking his place... deserve a lot of respect! Petr you've always been a loyal man and a great value of the club. Time goes by... It's now our turn to show you our loyalty to the PERSON you are... and not the Colours you are wearing!! Fare the well!

I don't know what you mean

La Gazetta dello Sport is reporting that not only Juventus, but now also Manchester United & Chelsea are trying to get Witsel! http://www.gazzetta.it/Calciomercato/15-06-2015/juventus-accelerata-witsel-giovedi-sara-tevez-day-120185545708.shtml Altough Juve looks to be in pole position, at Manchester he could be reunited with his buddy Fellaini => once a very solid midfield at Standard de Liege! Also Mourinho is charmed by Witsel! To be followed!

It took me half an hour to find out what SO meant ... But yes, his SO is Spanish. Born on Tenerife, she studied in Madrid. Tibo met her for the first time in a Hollister shop in a shopping mall the north of Madrid where she worked as a saleswoman. I guess she felt for his big hands ps: OMG I feel like a tabloid journalist writing this down!!
-
Congratz Tibo & Marta with the birth of a beautiful daughter Adriana!! ps: tiny feet in big 'chelsea' hands Thibaut Courtois: On Tuesday the 26th May at 21:15h our little princess Adriana came into our lives. We are beyond happy to have her with us and give her all our love. Words can't explain how deeply in love we are with you, Adriana!

Scores the 0-2 against Norwich this weekend => quick feet! Unfortunate draw after some weak defending....
-
Frankly I don't care about a win or loss in this one. We're champions anyway!!! Also I don't want to see another game like monday again!!! Big moment to give the youngsters a chance to play at the Bridge! Line up: GK Cech: most likely his last game for us! So he just deserves a nice farewell gala match Defense Ola Aina Andreas Christensen Jake Clarke-Salter Jay Dasilva Midfield Charlie Colkett Charly Musonda Jr. Jeremie Boga Ruben Loftus Cheek Forwards Dominic Solanke Didier Drogba: he deserves a standing 10 minute standing ovation after being substituted in the 80th minute for Isaiah Brown => this will get the celebrations started! After the game our first team should make a honour guard for the youngster to praise them for winning the UEFA YOUTH LEAGUE. After this it's celebration time and the whole First team will make 3 laps around the stadion the thank our marvelous fans for the support! Our fans will praise them for the excellent year!!! => many beers will be drunk, many songs will be sung and many babies will be made at home at night !!!!!

Oh well, at least we had the most fro's on the pitch

Everyone makes mistakes... (although it was a really stupid one!!!). But if we wouldn't have negotiated a buy-back clause.... NOW THAT would be unbelievably stupid and naive from our board!!
