I get what you mean but still you don't want an over-aggressive player in the holding MF player as its easier to pick up bookings and give away needless fouls. Luiz still imo doesn't read the game as well as he could, still dives in when if he could read the situation, he'd probably not give a foul away or whatever. Still good to have him back, his distribution from CB/DM is impressive. Gives us more options and means we are able to rest Mikel/Lampard/Ramires more frequently.

Loan him to Wigan next season, Martinez knows how to coach younger guys well and get them playing well and ready for bigger clubs in terms of progression in ability. Cleverly and Moses are examples. I'm sure Angelo Henriquez will go back to Utd better, McCarthy and McCarthur have also progressed since going there. If they are willing, which I think they would be tbh because they have 3 CMs that I can think of. David Jones, James McCarthy and James McCarthur. Oh and Ben Watson forgot him. Point is Wigan try and get the ball down, Josh could do with a step up from the Championship next year as hes done quite well tbh, perfect match as Josh is a player who is excellent in possession.

Cant remember the last time Schweinsteiger or Lahm delivered in the grandest of stages (most notably the CL finals against us and Inter, WC2010 semi final or the Euros vs Italy) so surely their inclusion is a bit daft. Lahm and Schweinsteiger have been bollocks in the big games that meant something. Especially Schweinsteiger who is overrated, remember that season Dortmund won the double he was absolutely shocking in the bigger games and Sahin was the best central MF player in Germany that year. Could say the same about Lahm, last time I remember Lahm performing really well was the WC in Germany 2006. If your putting Falcao in that list too surely Mata must be in it? Falcao has scored goals very well for the last 2 or 3 seasons as has Mata performed very well creating a lot of goals for the last 2 or 3 seasons. Falcao has carried Atleti for the last 2 seasons as Mata has basically carried us using his genuis to fashion chances out of nowhere for players. Apart from Schweinsteiger and Lahm plus the inclusion of Mata I agree with your list though. Maybe forgot Cech too, has been one of the standout GKs in Europe since he arrived at Chelsea and Busquets at Barca who is undoubtebly the best holding MF around these days.

Mourinho would be perfect in a way because hes a winner and some of these players we have with less experience and a frailer mentalility could do with a kick up the arse but yet again as soon as hes won everything he will probably fuck off like he did at Inter which doesn't make him perfect.
