  1. Seriously, why is this idiot a reporter? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zj7h8yXcC9I
  2. If Piazon can't get chance here, we might as well close the youth academy and save the money we're wasting!
  3. How was the Di Maria chance not given as a pen? It wasn't shoulder to shoulder, it was hand to back!
  4. I have no idea I just read people saying that
  5. As Dave stated before, if utd (and Arsenal) get knocked out, we get more CL money.
  6. Is that guy an idiot, or is he an idiot?!
  7. I suggest you read the rules before doing anything, especially buying players.
  8. Stop it both of you. You're both acting like 12 year olds!
  9. Last season we had 4 different divisions. @MetsajCFC, won the PL last season. This season we are going to have a CL format; meaning 8 groups at first and then knock out stages.
  10. Yes. He tweeted that he just arrived in Prague.
  11. The quotes were taken out of context as always. In fact the same quotes were used in another article title something like: "Chelsea won't slack off in the EL if Terry has something to say about it"
  12. Perfect time actually as SinineUltra said. You can start a new team or take over an existing one, there are a few vacancies.

  14. That sounds plausible and I would like to be proven wrong because Jose is by far the best option for us, atm. But I still just think that if I were in Jose's place and am leaving Madrid in the summer and coming to England, I would chose city.
  15. Why? In the last few seasons, we've been more of rivals for utd than City. If managing another team will ruin his chances at Utd, then his chances have already been ruined during his time here. You are right about this, but you miss one huge point: Jose does not have leave Madrid this season. When he says his next destination will be England, he doesn't necessarily anytime soon. A lot of stuff in there depend on lots of "if"s. Absolutely no guarantee that Jose will get the control or that the trophies would be flooding in if he does. Again I go back to AVB who cost more than any other manager did in history. He had a "mission" that Roman gave him. Roman promised him time and genuinely believed in him but ended up sacking him 7 months into the season. There is no evidence yet to show that Roman has realized he needs to give managers more time. 3-4 years? I wouldn't bet on him surviving 2 seasons here! We are a young inexperienced team; I doubt we can reproduce the 04-05 and 05-06 success that kept him here 3 and a half years the last time. Think I answered those above.
  16. Andre Bikey giving the ref a bear hug after Middlesbrough picked up their first points in 2013 :
  17. He's Inter bound. I think he is an Inter fan, even. He's not that good either, Inter are probably the right move for him.
  18. His ego won't be able to handle getting sacked twice by the same team which will most likely happen if he joins us. And how can he have more security here than City? If Mancini was our manager, he wouldn't have lasted 2 months! 1) We're talking about the man who still won't admit that he made a mistake by buying Torres and still insists that the manager plays him. 2) That's a completely different situation. Jose has history here, and one of the main reasons for the problems with the board when he was here was the of control he had over transfers especially Shevshenko. The first part does not necessarily imply the second. Remember AVB? Roman promised him time and believed in his project so much so that AVB said he sees him self still at Chelsea in 10 years and in the end all he got was 8-9 months. Roman likes to show everyone who is boss, don't think that's going to change anytime soon.
  19. Can we keep the discussion a bit more civil, please? Funny part is, it turns out he had a very good game after all: http://m.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/feb/12/middlesbrough-leeds-united-championship
  20. Not publicly of course, but hiring Jose is, or rather looks like, admitting he was wrong to sack him. But I don't that will be the biggest issue. The issue is that Jose knows that he will have much more security at City whereas here a run of bad games is enough to get him sacked.
  21. Still can't see Jose returning here, tbh, because that would have to mean: 1) RA admitting he was wrong to fire him in 2007. And in my experience, rich, powerful men, don't like doing that. 2) He will be given time, money and control. Highly unlikely, imo.
  22. Agree on the first but definitely not the second. Him and Drogba are, imo, the best strikers of their generation.
