Could it be that he lacks concentration at times? I mean the man has showed that he has excellent passing skills yet often makes passes that make me wonder why he is on the pitch. Perhaps that's why he was so excellent against Barca, because he was obviously concentrated for the whole 180 mins.

I for one am against goal line technology, because refereeing errors are part of the game. Take what happened yesterday for example, why should a video replay be used to see if the ball crossed the line while it can't be used to see if it was offside? I a way, the referee's mistake in not counting the goal was "fair".

I never thought Chamakh was a failure, I seem to remember that he was doing OK and scoring till RVP came back from injury and he was completely dropped by Wenger, never gave him a chance since. I think the Podolski signing is much more likely to turn into a total waste of money for Arsenal. He only plays well when surrounded by the likes of Ozil, Sweinstiger, Klose...etc. At Koln, he's average at best. Giroud, on the other hand, I think will prove to be an important signing for the gunners, though they will still be a weakened side without RVP.
