There are a few good points in there. I badly want Romelu to succeed and I love his feelings towards the club but he has really, at this time, not shown anything of great promise. Till now, to me he is just a strong 19yo with good pace and below average technical skills. I would love that he proves me wrong. And regarding the goal, Romelu would have done the same, every player is desperate to impress on his debut. I highly doubt it would have changed much if anything.

It was never a question of how godd the academy is, the performances of the youth squad and the FA youth cups they have won are evident to that. The problem lies in not giving the players in the academy a decent chance with the first squad because of all the changes in management.

I have given up on Danny on the wing and hope he becomes Nando's back-up next season. Moving back on topic, I can definitely understand Kostas worries, but Hulk does offer something on the wing that none of the other players we have do, and with us playing in 7 competitions next season we will need all the squad depth we can get. But the question is: Is what Hulk adds to the squad worth the alleged 38m?
