Had another good performance yesterday. He was, along with Mata and Ba, our best players yesterday.

I don't get it, how was he supposed to see Kompany's shirt pull? Kompany was very smartly doing it from the front and the ref was naturally behind. As for the Aguero challenge, only the line man could see that and he just didn't have the guts to call it. In both cases I think Foy is blameless. We're just looking for excuses..

100% agree. Look at Kompany yesterday for example, we were all criticizing him, but I bet he will got a pat on the back from the manager because it was brilliant defending.

If we do fail to secure top 4 and win the EL then I would agree, but those are big 'if's. Perhaps we should wait till this season is over before we judge if it is the worst or not instead of having those knee-jerk reaction threads..

We've made the semifinals of the Carling, FA and EL so far. We didn't get anywhere near silverware in Carlo's second season and for the most part of it we were almost as far behind united as we have been this season.

Well the answer to your question depends, if you mean the worst season in terms of performances, that was last season, and I blame Lampard and the old guard for it. The worst season in terms of results was Carlo's second season, and I blame the board for not bringing new blood to replace the aging players.

Well when he was still on, the team was obviously instructed not to press and to sit deep. He had a similar performance to the rest of midfield in the time he was on the field which was below average because we were giving City all the possession. But I don't remember him doing any big mistakes..

He wasn't good today, but I didn't think he was particularly poor. Misplaced a couple of passes in the first half, but was average otherwise. Regarding the pressing, it's obvious the team was instructed not to press in the first half, not just Mikel. City were just allowed the ball in midfield while our team retreated to our box.

What was he doing for the first goal? Tracked Nasri to the edge of the box then just stopped for no reason. Criminal! Was decent otherwise, though.

He actually made a few similar mistakes in the first half that we got away with it. Even for the first goal, he was too far from Luiz. Very poor performance.

No point blaming the ref, imo. We started the game looking to park the bus just like we did at the Ettihad. When we finally started playing and taking the game to City it was too late. That said, City we very lucky to hold on and we were unlucky to concede in the 47th minute. Just wasn't our day. Mata, Ba and Bertrand were our best players today, imo. Iva was probably our worst. He made 2-3 huge mistakes in the first half that we got away with but eventually Aguero punished us.

One question, what was Ramires doing for the goal?! He tracked Nasri till the edge of the box and then just stopped!
