  1. The strike has been engineered and decided even before the UN committee has reached the site to investigate the alleged chemical attack. The strike has been decided even though the identity of the attacker has yet to be determined and despite the evidence the Russians have given that the chemical missiles were locally made and are likely to be the work of the extremists. I'm not defending Bashar. His regime occupied Lebanon and terrorized people for 16 years. He is a criminal as are all Arab leaders. But I do wish that his regime does triumph in the current war for the sake of the entire region and hence my own sake. Your public cares as much as your government wants you to and hence as much as the media shows you. Tell me, how much do you know of, and hence care about, the 26 churches that have been burnt in Egypt in the past couple of months by the Muslim brotherhood? About the hundreds of unarmed protesters that have been killed in Bahrain by the government? How much do you care about the dictatorship in KSA and the fact that most human rights don't exists there? No offence, but the lives of the people of an entire region is more important than your guilty conscience and hypocritical double standards that you call international morals. What can you do besides a military intervention? You can stop funding and arming people who believe that their sole goal in life is to die while killing other people so that they can go to heaven, dine with the prophet and get 52 virgins. Yup, that'd be a good start.
  2. Fucking hell. I thought I clicked on the Lukaku thread, not the Grey's Anatomy thread. So much drama!
  3. And his back-hand was way off as well
  4. LOL Sunderland scored 4 in the last 12 mins. Talk about meltdown!
  5. Equally more Syrian people are also being slaughtered with the weapons that the west have given to the Muslim extremists who have come into Syria by western (and Arab) funding. And worse they are being slaughtered not for political reasons but for their religious beliefs. The strike has nothing to do with the alledges chemical attacks. Its only aim is to prolong the slaughtering in Syria because the Syrian regime has been gaining the upper hand for a couple of months now and the strike aims to even things up again by weakening the Syrian air force.
  6. Bayern have not been as good as they were last season from what I've seen of them. They're still trying to get used to Pep's system.
  7. A western strike on Syria seems imminent. The nature of the strike is still to be seen and more importantly it's repercussions. I don't think the objective to over-turn the regime, but lately the army was gaining the upper hand for a few months now and the strike is meant to weaken the Syrian air force in order to even things again to ensure that the war goes on for at least a couple years more. Not sure what the Syrian, and more importantly, the Iranian, response will be.
  8. Even if an Admin is online, it does not necessarily mean that they have the time to edit article because it takes a lot of time.
  9. There's a reason for that and that is that the system we are playing requires a holding midfielder. I agree though that it should not be Ramires because he offers so much more as a box-to-box midfielder. No but I am saying that.
  10. He can't play the holding midfielder role against a team like Manchester. And we're only figuring this out now?! You need a genuine holding midfielder if you're going to play 4-2-3-1 and challenge for the title and Ramires is not one.
  11. We get a draw at Old Traford and Jose deserves to get punched in the face for it?! Fucking hell.. This is a wake up to call to everyone who thinks that we have the strongest squad in the league. Jose Mourinho, the man who knows our squad the best, thought that we would more likely lose if went there and attacked. We defended very well and got a valuable point. WTF is wrong with a point from Old Traford?! Very few teams manage that. Whether or not we could have won is a completely different discussion. Jose wanted a 0-0 draw and he made his tactics accordingly. For that purpose that is the goalless draw, the tactics were spot on because United couldn't create anything for 90 minutes.
  12. Well we can add him but can you stop people from posting it anyway? There is a "bad words filter" for the forum that prohibits members making posts with certain words. I wonder if I can convince Jim to add the words Tancredi and Palmeri to it....
  13. We did not park the bus and just let them have the ball in our half today. The genius of Jose's plans is that it stops the other team from even creating anything. He did it today just like he did it in the second half against Hull just like he did it countless times in his last stint here. When you park the bus you need a lot of luck and a lot of last ditch defending because the other team will inevitably create chances. This is different, yes Benitez managed to do it in our home game against City but couldn't repeat the act at the Etihad. It's not as easy at it looks and it does take a tactical genius to pull off.
  14. Then after that we have City (or is Norwich before it?). September will be very tough, but then we have two months with relatively easier fixtures. If we can avoid our winter slump we can use those two months to hopefully create a little gap at the top. But we're getting way ahead of ourselves here.
  15. Yes, I'm not denying that he did say that. I just said that he didn't say it on Al Jazeera since we were talking about he said on Al Jazeera and what he said on Sky. Like I said, I doubt this will be done in 48 hours even if Jose said so. This will go to the last day of the transfer, imo.
  16. He didn't say anything about 48 hours on Al Jazeera. I think Jose is saying that to rush him. I think whether he says or leaves this is going to the final day of the market.
  17. I didn't think he played badly. Great work-rate, but his movement is not that of a lone striker. I still much prefer him on the wing and thought he did better when he was moved there after Torres came on.
  18. Dude, I'm not asking you to take my word for something, the footage is there.
  19. Against Villa he was asked to play more advanced than the rest of the back four to come out and challenge Benteke for the long balls and he did it extremely well.
  20. That doesn't change the fact that it was a dive and he should have booked him.
  21. Even more interesting, some one voted Lampard
