  1. I'm talking in terms of playing style. They are almost identical. Always cut inside, always shoot, never pass. Just mark my words to when/if Shurrle comes here. And btw, if Schurrle gets as much game time as Danny got here, I'm positive he'll want to leave as well..
  2. Just read that QPR mortgaged their ground to get cash. I think we all saw that one coming..
  3. So we sold Danny for 12m and we're buying another one for 22? Nice job CFC..
  4. I don't want him at Chelsea for the same reasons I don't want Falcao. But he's definitely not "shit". He is an absolutely world-class finisher.
  5. Baines is actually very similar to Azpi in his playing style in how he likes to get involved in the build-up play and get on the ball. Baines's technical ability and delivery, not to mention experience, is, at the moment, better. No idea why you don't like him..
  6. This match has just become even more massive. A win here would be a huge step towards a top 4 finish. Please stop with the Luiz in the midfield nonsense, it was just an experiment that went badly..
  7. Someone needs to remind him that he's playing the British, not American, type of football!
  8. lol was just about to post that! Seems to be doing very well in League one. Reckon a championship loan would be better for him next season?
  9. Hmmm. can't think of any other reason. Maybe @Jim can help?
  10. Hey, Dave. Did you make sure that this option in you notification settings is enabled:
  11. You must be really desperate if you're looking on twitter for reliable news..
  12. He's been playing at RW for most of the season. Mowbray is an idiot! And then people complain he's under-performing
  13. Starts against Forrest (And Hutchinson who's starting as well!) tonight. I haven't been able to see him, but I've read that he's been doing better since he was moved back to a central position.
  14. I have nothing against his political views. I just hate him since his days with West Ham. He was very much the "Suarez" type of player. Just search his name on youtube and you'll see him punching players, pushing refs to the ground..etc. Nedd a MASSIVE favor from Everton tonight. Let's agree that if Arsenal don't drop points tonight, we'll all abuse Shogun, alright?
  15. You know he hasn't actually said that and it's just a twitter rumor, right?
  16. Great read as always. Like I've been saying since the Pellegrini rumors started, he's very good choice for us. His teams are always tactically very good and well organized. They always seem to punch above their weight. His time at Real was affected by the political issues inside the club as everyone knows. I think his appointment seems very logical and very realistic. Would be very interested to see how that works out.
  17. This signing makes sense to me because of Schurrle's versatility. If we're sticking with playing a lone striker then we really can't have more than two senior strikers in the team because you can't give them all enough pitch time. So, it would make much sense to have a player like Schurrle who can play on the wings but still be comfortable covering at ST if needed. That said, 20m is a bit over the top for me. 13-15m would make much more sense.
  18. Exactly, if we're going to trade Kevin for someone from Dortmund, we should be looking at someone like Gundogan, not another attacking midfielder. (not that we should be looking to offload KDB in the first place)
  19. Yes, the united team is the best in the league at crossing (though Valencia has been terrible at crossing this season), but past that, the crossing abilities of teams are on the fast decline.
  20. Crossing is a dying art. Can anyone name 10 quality crossers in the whole league? The only ones that come to my mind are Larson, Young and Baines (please don't ban me Alex!).
