Right, he was very good against Saints, but I can't remember his performance against Steaua. All I remember is Schurrle stealing the show and creating the first three goals.

Real question is, if Villa or another midtable team come with some 12-15m offer, would you sell? I'd be very tempted for anything over 15m or 8-12m with a reasonable buy back clause.

But it really wasn't about 'faith' with Juan. He kept getting pretty regular minutes in the team despite not playing well at all. He literally had two good performances last season: Against Arsenal in the Capital One cup and Tottenham when he came on in the second half changed the match and got the assist for Terry's equalizer. But other than that he was mostly very dire. And not for the lack of trying. But it was clearly not working for him in the new system. But Jose kept showing faith in him and giving him minutes despite all that, even at the expense of other players who arguably deserved more faith and chances like KDB. And we weren't even the ones who forced him out. He asked to leave and got his wish. So he lost his faith in shining under Jose before Jose and the club lost faith in him.

Let's not get our hopes unrealistically up. Yes, he's been decent when he's finally been able to get regular playing time recently, but his chances of returning are still pretty slim. He's still almost certainly going on another loan next season unless he chooses to move permanently to another club.

IIRC Boga got the most playing time of all the youngsters in preseason. But he's been injure a lot this season and rarely at his very best.

Boga was probably our worst player in the first half, but he did brilliantly for the goal there. Excellent time to score as well. That should mess up their second half plan.

That wasn't even a mistake. His only options were letting the ball continue to the striker with the empty net in front of him or trying to put out a leg and hope it doesn't end up in the back of the goal. Have a look at Bogo who gifted them the ball or RLC who let the winger past him as if he wasn't there, if you want to blame anyone.

And who will track him out of defense to challenge for headers? JT doesn't have the pace to do so and still recover, and Cahill doesn't have the awareness.

Mikel. If he kept Crouch quite in the air, he can stop Fellaini. They have won matches the past couple of season solely on seconds ball off Fellaini headers. Everton did it all the time. Unless we really are going to sit very deep, it's not something to just overlook, imo.

If we play Cesc and Matic in the middle Fellaini is going to cause us some really problems because neither are good enough to trouble him in the air.

If you really like her and can see a future then you can't let that get in the way, but if it's just for some fun then you're probably going to get more problems than fun from it and disrupt the whole workplace it ends.
