No idea how he was unable to join Bordaux but can join Reading. Anyway, best of luck to him, though I've almost lost all hope for him here. Such a shame after his early promise but his career seems to be going backwards after that first season.
Lmaoooo Professional wanker, Craig Burley, actually had to get a Torres tattoo after talking bs about him before the Madrid derby  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ART2pQ1zFug
I think both he and Mikel were exposed 'tactically' by how Liverpool setup and attacked with a sort of two number tens. I think that took Jose by surprise and I hope he thinks of something to stop it next week. But even with that, both made some really incredible errors for professionals at this level. I'd expect Mikel and Matic to be beaten by Coutinho because there was often a gap between them and the back four that JT is unable to cover and Cahill unwilling. We should not however expect Mikel to fail to press or get dispossessed or Matic to make simple positional errors like for the goal or keep misplacing simple passes. Those are unacceptable individual mistakes.
Up (or down) there with Iva as our worst performer yesterday, and that's saying something! And in the end when he just kept giving them the ball 30 yards from our goal..
Defensively mostly did well although he started to look tired at the end, but in going forward, especially in the first half......he might as well played in red shirt..
No that was Matic who was completely out of position and then too slow to stop Sterling from turning. Mikel was helping Iva on the right who was left against two players by Willian.
I'm not exaggerating when I say, I could have passed better than him yesterday. Him and Willian just kept on giving them the ball back every f***ing time! I was about to throw my TV out of the window in the first half.
Yeah, definitely one of our better players yesterday, not that that says much since most of the team was pretty terrible. Did better than expected defensively but going forward he was as sloppy as everyone else.
He says in the caption under the recognition award that he's fulfilled a long time dream of becoming a shareholder of Chelsea and there is some mention of an investment from the club in the Middle East as a result. He is legitimately one of the financers if not the main for Al Hilal. He has over 300k followers on Twitter and his own fan pages! I don't think he can lie about something like that. He's not some random unknown guy. If he was lying the club would have persued some legal action or at least revoked his supporter club membership.
Maybe not. I checked him out, he's one of the owners/financiers of Al Hilal club in KSA and he there are pictures of him and little pieces of new in Saudi sites about him becoming something of business partner or shareholder in the club and being handed some sort of recognition award for it last season at HT at the Norwich game at the Bridge.
https://twitter.com/thibauted/status/557692657007607809 The guy seems like a legit shareholder or at least business partner of some kind. But that does not at all imply that he has any knowledge of whom we are buying. He's even removed the photo since.
I don't at all understand the decision to not play him today. If I had to choose only 2 matches of the 4 we had after Swansea for him to play in, I'd have gone with both of the Liverpool matches. Very weird decision not to play him especially when we were looking to hit them with quick transition on the counter.
Apparently one of our shareholders, a Saudi sport economist, has hinted on his instagram account that we might be signing him... I can hardly contain my excitement!
How the hell we got a positive result with that display, I honestly do not know. And we really could have even nicked a win if either Cahill or Matic used their brains on the goal. Oh well....excuse me while I go try out that Terry-Sterrling Kama Sutra position
