  1. I strangely genuinely don't care that much about the result of this match. I want us to win it so we can wrap up the title in April for only the second time in EPL history (I think), but that is the extent of how much I care about this match. I honestly don't think it can affect our winning of the title. I hope the players don't feel the same way.
  2. Sturridge! I knew I was forgetting someone. And at least wait another season before you put Kane ahead of the likes of Benteke, Lukaku (who I don't particularly rate that highly), Rossi...etc. Imagine how silly it looks in retrospective to have said similarly about the likes of Kevin Phillips, Andy Johnson or James Beattie...etc. LOL Remember Benni McCarthy's wonder season?
  3. That was probably the only time I hated a Chelsea player, the most I've ever been upset at one. I think had I somehow ran into him that week I would probably have assaulted him. I still don't forgive him for costing us the chance to win the World Cup even if it is a completely meaningless friendly tournament.
  4. I was always one of his biggest critics virtually since arriving and always pointed out the silliness of the excuses that were being made like the "lack of creativity" and "Malouda does not pass to him" But I think the point where I realized this man will never be remotely good here at Chelsea was probably the red card against Swansea.
  5. Instead of feeling ashamed and guilty....and the general ignorance of common people and lack of effort from politicians and diplomats towards it is shocking. I mean imagine if these were Germans doing a similar demonstration about the holocaust. Late 19th early 20th Ottoman empire was one of the most ruthless, blood-thirsty empires of the time, and that's actually quite an achievement. In Lebanon during the first world war, they literally starved the people for no reason. The region was under their control and they just stopped allowing any food into it and confiscated what was already there. Something between third and half of the population starved to death in 2-3 years time.
  6. Just the facial features and the general body shape. I'm saying guys who usually look like that cannot be trusted!
  7. You resemble very very much a close friend of mine Unfortunately the idiot is a hardcore united fan!
  8. Yes. Patrick is more of a "proven striker" than Icardi who is bang average. I'd take Patrick over him anytime. Well yes, that does depend a lot on what the other options are. Is it 10-15m for a worse or similar striker like Icardi or is it a free transfer for an experience striker like the Eto'o deal last season? On the last point, it's weird when people still talk about "weak PL teams" after the last few seasons. How many PL matches have we won this season by more than 1 goal? By more than 2 goals? We won't rotate players in the league unless we absolutely have to and that is because in the PL there is a good chance that you'll drop points every single game. Same applies to the CL unless we get a Apoel or Nordsjelland (both of whom we have dropped against in the past, coincidentally).
  9. No, 5 Koke + 3 Integral of (Koke's workrate)2 >= log( 2 Veratti2 + 15 Verrati - 4th root of area of his rat face) / Oscar's current form < Pogba! - hyp(derivative of hairstyle) cos(Mikel)
  10. Barca deserve it. Juve are the obvious outsiders but I'd give them a chance over two legs against Real.
  11. Long shall the reign of Lord Obi continue Happy belated, John. Proper Chels :blue scalf:
  12. There is usually a reason and that is from those 60 games, we'll have about 55 must win games against good opposition where the best fit striker will always start. You can never plan things like these because they depend almost solely on the fitness of other players. If Costa and Remy remain fit throughout the entire season, Bamford probably doesn't get a single start.
  13. Maybe Berahino, but he is not really an out and out striker but plays more off another striker. If the other three are England NT regulars, England is screwed!
  14. Not necessarily a good thing, though. The original loan deal to Milan was presumable a two year loan and not a sale or termination of contract because we wanted the remaining money to be spread out over two years, now all the remaining transfer money to Liverpool will have to go on this year's balance.
  15. @Hostedenis, thanks again for all the great work. I just love reading those. How do you feel about making these a regular article on the site next season so it would appear on NewsNow and our Facebook page?
  16. On the bright side (for them), they haven't just made a 100m investment in Fernando Torres like we did!
  17. City practically need a whole new team. All their star players, bar Aguero, are beyond their peak and will only deteriorate. They are basically us in 2011.
  18. 2nd yes, third no. This season, all of our three strikers have been injured numerous times, but that is not the usual case. Normally, the third striker in a team that plays a lone striker system barely a hand full of appearances, mostly in cup matches and such. It would be better for both Patrick and Chelsea if he was sent out on loan is that is going to be the case.
  19. It's not like he has a lot of competition for England either in his age group. I mean Kane aside, who else is there? Wickham? (Yes, I know I'm probably forgetting a few)
  20. We have a bout half a dozen of these threads already Please do a search next time before you start a new thread.
