Just heard that we are interested in this 19 year old Benfica midfielder. Don't know much about him but he's 6ft 2ins, the captain of Portugal's captain at the U20 World Cup and has been compared to Javi Martinez of Bayern Munich.
What are you on about? That's football. I remember when Mark Hughes played for United and I couldn't stand him but when he arrived at Chelsea, I was over the moon & became a huge fan of his. If Rooney came to Chelsea and delivered the goods, I wouldn't give a fuck about his time at United. Making us and every other team suffer is his job.
I can't even be upset. We should have made the decision by now, Courtois or Cech. He is a great keeper and should be installed at the beginning of next season or sold.
I've always wondered what kind of player he was before reaching Chelsea. Did JM turn him into a defensive midfielder and curb his attacking mentality? I hate saying this but I've never seen him as a top class defensive midfielder and £12m+ would be a decent deal.
I'd take KdB ahead of Moses any day of the week. If KdB is sold, I would be gutted. Considering the amount of games during the season, Mata, Oscar, Hazard, KdB, Moses & Schürrle (inside forward/striker) sounds like one too many.
The way Chelsea is 'using' KDB as a makeweight in a deal for a inferior player may leave him disillusioned with his future at the club. The club's negotiating skills are average at the best of times...
Gutted if KDB doesn't return to the club for the new season. £15m+ & KDB? Not a good deal imo - as nono says, KDB would have featured in a decent amount of games this season.
Football journo Graham Hunter believes Chelsea are after Rooney. 2 recent tweets: Part three of all this will be whether or not Chelsea manage to complete the deal they want, to sign Rooney. United know of Chelsea´s interest and IF he does move it will not have anything to do with new manager taking over.
