Torres was getting better and better towards the end of last season, and with the Euro's, he has taken his form further ahead. He is looking very sharp and confident, and it is best that there is no real holiday break for him during off season, as he can continue picking up his sharpness, rather than go on holiday and hope he gets his form back. People here are always on his case no matter what. He finished the season well, and has done really well at the euros, with the limited time he had on the pitch. Doesnt matter who the goals were against, as those were the only times the coach played him. He was played, and he scored. We did not have a energetic and fast moving team last season, which we will now. Torres was bought from liverpool being completely off form for atleast a year or so..... Its not like we bought a player who was killing it and then he became shit for us. He tries his best , makes runs, tracks back and makes tackles....... and even when he was "shit", he worked for the team and started alot of attacks and has a high no. of assists. He did well for a player devoid of form and confidence, and now that it is back, He should have a great season. There is a big difference between being skeptical and unappreciative. Once in a while, it is ok to just appreciate a good moment, rather than follow it up with a remark that takes away from a players achievement. He might have a good season, or might have an average season. He has given every sign that he will have a good season , and with the new players around him, that becomes more likely. Bring on next Season, for Chelsea and for Torres. I have a great feeling about 2012-13.

dont know what the fuss is about. Have seen him play a few games, then just to be sure, went to youtube and checked the skills and goals videos.... If those videos fail to make a player look better than usual, what am i missing? Is he really good in terms of team contribution, rather than skills? Dont know enough about the guy to make an objective assessment.

I was talking more about previous seasons, and the 1-2 mill extra other teams paid to price us out of the deal, and they have done well at their respective new clubs. I fear the same is happening with hulk. I might be wrong, but with the hulk deal there are too many hiccups, such as Porto's fee demand and then on top of that the 6 million payout to his agent, and then i have read in several articles that 10% of hulk is owned by some other company. It will be massive if our board can reach an agreement with all parties, but it will be really bad if we miss out on him, while someone else bags him. Moses on the other hand, as a backup, i sincerely hope our youth setup has someone who can be given a go, perhaps islam feruz kakuta ? these two have great potential, and being backups, they will just about get enough playing time to have a crack at the bigtime every once in a while. If we get Moses, its the end for atleast kakuta in chelsea. Who i think is better than moses, based on what i have seen of both. Moses should move to a team like aston villa to develop. We dont need him imo.

Why cant we hijack the Lavezzi deal with PSG? He's probably the fastest and most skillful wingers in the market currently, if we cant get hulk, we should hijack lavezzi. Moses is decent and has his good moments, but this move has too much risk attached to it..... not on the money angle, but whether he becomes a stewart downing types who was good in a small team but couldnt step up. Im not one who agrees with the argument that he was cheap so even if he fails its ok. We do need someone though. Additionally, i think its about time we scrapped our youth setup and spend that money on buying players, as either our youth has been crap over 8 years, or start churning out prospects and bring them as back ups. im not saying many need to come through....even if 1 or 2 come through, that will be good. Bertrand is an exception. A little sarcasm with some anger. Our youth team has consistently won trophies, yet other teams keep having their players come in as backups, and a few even make it into starting lineups.... for us.... its no one coming through, just buy buy buy.

great appointment..... will get us playing good attacking football..... and since we have the best defense in europe that shoudnt be a problem. For the first time, a manager appointment feels right.

Used to think very highly of Lamps, has changed significantly and now everytime i think of him, his comment on television, that he likes RDM because he plays him more than "the other guy" really pisses me off. Even if he said plays him more than "the previous manager" or any other words, its would have been ok. Even if Frank had a bad relationship with AVB, which he did, to say that on television ..... thats very disrespectful in general and takes away from the classy behavior he shows in years gone by.

IMO, Ben Arfa is much much better than Sturridge. dont know why people rate him so highly, yes he has a bright moment or two, but then immediately after that he does something silly like not passing or shooting from stupid angles. In the business end of moves, he always plays against the probabilities and either loses the ball, doesnt pass at the right time, or shoots . Going for personal glory all the time, He is detrimental to the team play at many occasions, to the point where right from the beginning of last season, when he got the ball and started running, most players decided not to make runs and hope for sturridge to set them up.... Sad really. AVB ruined his Chelsea prospects. He still has this season to prove himself. Im hoping that with the arrival of Hulk and Hazard, he takes his selfishness and ego a notch down, and learns from these players, rather than trying to show he is the best player around.

Buying Fellaini will mean we are moving backwards,,,,, Not in terms of the quality of the player, but the fact that we are not giving any chance to some of europes best upcoming midfielders.... and buying one who is above average.... We need to breed some Chelsea Blooded Players to keep some sort of identity of the club.

KakuWho??? He needs a Sturridge at Bolton sort of Loan, where he plays and is involved in attack at all times...... Send him for 6 months to the worst team in the league, make sure he starts and is the star of that team. Otherwise let him go. Whats the point of keeping and hoping, when you can sell and put your money on your next bet.
