  1. Should be more worried about his wife and son...
  2. True, true, but there is no harm in having a break for a day is there? We can all get right back into the debating and what not tomorrow...surely it can wait?
  3. Everyone owes it to themselves to forget about the contract extension saga, the criticisms of his performance, his age, Roman ruining Chelsea, amongst other things. And for a few hours just talk about his goals and everything he has done in a Chelsea shirt, this isn't the time to debate all this nonsense, but to revel in everything he has done over the last decade or so. Remember the trophies, the goals, the passes and everything else in between. Now is not the time to be focusing on the negatives and worrying about the future. Just embrace the past. We've plenty of time to insult eachother for having different opinions, let's just discuss the one fact in front of us; Lamps has 203 goals to his name.
  4. Nobody has even come close to saying that Rooney is a different person....Read carefully: "This is unfair. He has mellowed in recent years. There was a ridiculously long stretch of games where he didn't even pick up a yellow card or something. This 'attitude' problem is not as big as a few years ago i feel" Please take note of the phrasing and syntax. "This 'attitude' problem is not as big as a few years ago i feel". Nowhere does Strike say that Rooney is a different person. It says his attitude is less of a problem now, but does not say that his attitude isn't a problem. Strike does indeed say that Rooney has an attitude problem, it's right there. He just says his attitude isn't as bad as it was when he was younger. Just because his attitude has gotten better doesn't mean it's all good now. It's still shit, only less shit, but still shit. Okay? Okay.
  5. I'm almost certain that you've taken Strike the wrong way. Rooney will always be Rooney, nothing can change that, he will always say and do stupid things, but as of the last few years they are farther apart, hence the mellowed attitude. You have to appreciate that Strike didn't say Rooney is mellow just that he has mellowed. He is still same old idiot Rooney, just a more mellowed one. Just watching that video, I'm not sure how old it is but most of the footage is from when he wore number 8 and when Ronaldo was at the club.
  6. On topic : There's no hat like a tin foil hat. Jesus titty fucking christ. I never said that you weren't allowed to like something, I was just saying that others will have different opinions about El Che. I actually don't really believe that image about injury time.
  7. I've nothing against El Che. rmpr on the otherhand will offer a different perspective...
  8. rmpr, if you will explain why El Che isn't a cool avatar...
  9. Ain't nobody be stating that Skips.
  10. Hahaha, Schweinsteiger the best midfielder in the world. Pull the other one next time. Maybe when Schweini actually shows for the big games, I'll consider it but as of now, he constantly fails Germany and Bayern in big games. Sure he has some decent big matches but where was he against Inter and Chelsea in the CL Final? Or against BVB in the Pokal final last season? Or how did he fair against Italy in the Euros? He is up there, but certainly not the number one midfielder in the world for me. Schweini isn't even Bayern's MVP in my opinion, that honour goes to Thomas Muller.
  11. That was awful. Cringe worthy. This is the type of stuff we make fun of you Poms for. For starters it's almost impossible to actually buy Fosters in Australia. We stereotype ourselves better in our comedy shows...
  12. I know what the saying means in your other post, I just don't get the context.
  13. Luiz as a midfielder will surpass the likes of amazing B2B midfielders like Schweinsteiger, Arturo Vidal and Claudio Marchisio. Mark my words. Personally, I'd love to see him in a three man midfield, with the license to bomb forward and get stuck into the attacking phases.
  14. 20Mill would be a great deal. Though to be honest I can't see where he is heading in his career. He is obviously very talented but I really can't tell where his future lies; Midfield? Forward? Goalkeeper? What is putting me off is that I don't know if Chelsea is buying a world class midfielder or forward with this man. He is built like a brick shit house and isn't afraid to tackle, pass and just generally stuck in, so even if the goals do dry up he can just be placed into CM... What does that last line mean? Are you visiting Oz or something?
  15. I now where you are coming from, but he doesn't look lethargic as he runs his socks off every game but he doesn't look right, does he? He just doesn't look like Rooney. He looks uncomfortable and awkward at times, methinks. He is a lot slower than he used to be and his dribbling is only half as good as it once was. He can still score like ye olde days, and his passing and overall technique is great but something seems off about him...
  16. He learned how to play deep, why can't he relearn how to play high up?
  17. Hmm, yes. An interesting opinion this one has.
  18. Says the cunt that's vain enough to wear contact lenses. I hope they get stuck behind your eye in your sleep you haughty fucker.
  19. I'm a hipster with my new spectacles. You guys just wouldn't understand.
