  1. Did he even have a single shot against Juventus?
  2. Beautiful touch and pure amazing finish. Take a bow son. People seem to forget that players like Wisey also wore the number 11...
  3. Always look on the bright side of life. Life can seem pretty shirty, but at least we aren't ManCity. Always look on the bright side of draws, at least it wasn't a nil-nil bore.
  4. Not me. I was too young, Premier League coverage was poor and my family was too poor (or too tight) back then to afford cable television. To me Chelsea didn't exist out of FIFA '98 on the Playstation One.
  5. I think Vucinic is a very solid striker (scored a couple against Chelsea already) and I'd class Giovinco more as an attacking midfielder.
  6. Careful where you tread because all those adjectives could apply to us too...
  7. Well you aren't really helping the situation are you? Antagonising them doesn't make for a friendly environment...

  9. Because if you talk smack about Super Lamps the ghost of Joe Cole (bless his soul) will haunt your dreams. Be warned fair traveler, be warned.
  10. SBS is a multicultral and multilanguage free-to-air channel. We get the Champions League on it. For free.
  11. Don't you get SBS on that island of yours?
  12. Pffft. Get off your high horse, he obviously meant Dennis Wise. Some people, gosh.
  13. Damien Duff? He was alright. I'm only choosing players that I saw live (so no Zola, Nevin, Osgood, Dixon etc): 1. Frank Lampard 2. John Terry 3. Didier Drogba 4. Petr Cech 5. Joe Cole Yes, Joe Cole. That solo goal against ManUtd is the reason I'm a Chelsea fan today.
  14. He [Essie] misplaced a lot of passes. He passed it out of play more than once and a few times he passed it into a ManCity player only to have it rebound onto a Real player (dumb luck). Other than his passing he was fine.
  15. Don't be surprised if he scores 50+ golazos.
  16. Yaya Touré was anonymous for the first half and came alive during the second. I didn't even know he was playing till the commentator mentioned the fact after 30 minutes of play he hadn't mention Touré once. Essien was painfully bad and now I realise why he loaned out...
  17. Pirlo has an epic beard. None of our players do. Juve have already won.
  18. I never said it was a privelege to play Juve. And I don't feel priveleged I'm just appreciating the fact this is a big fixture against a big club...
  19. I know...but what does that have to do with anything?
  20. Win, lose, draw. I'm not too worried at the moment, I'm just appreciating the fact that Chelsea is playing a club with the stature of Juventus! Hell I can't even remember the names of the other two clubs in the group (no disrespect intended, I know there is a Ukranian team and Danish team), I'm just excited to play Juve. When the draw was being drawn I knew the moment that ball was picked up it had Juve in it, it was written in the stars (as Gary Neville would say). Juve have had some magnificent players at their club: Zidane, Platini, Trezeguet, Buffon, Nedved, Del Piero, Baggio, Cannavaro and an even more magnificent history. Let's make this match a part of Juve's storied history by thrashing them 5-0.
  21. Shevchenko has started a career in politics.
  22. I killed myself once, but choping my head off with a chainsaw...I got better.
  23. We will indeed. The third is usually the crowning achievement season... They will do well until UEFA uses FFP to strip them of all their assets and forces them to sell their best players. Until the break even, they will receive no prize money from any competitions.
