  1. Just like how you are moaning right now?
  2. 3-0 would be great. I don't care who starts as long as it's a comfortable win. In light of recent results and form a very comfortable win is necessary to boost confidence. I did say I don't care who starts but it would be nice if Filipe Luis got a lot of minutes. Especially over Ivanovic.
  3. I swear to god, Lionel Messi is a high-functioning autist. There is no other way to describe he weirdness.
  4. He is such a gimp on the pitch. I have no idea what he is like as a person off the pitch but on the pitch the guy is team morale poison.
  5. Cristiano Ronaldo looks better than he is because of the stat padding he gets from scoring 8 goals against teams like Elche. The guy is a complete nutcase, he doesn't care about anything or anyone except Ronaldo. He probably got mad that Gareth Bale was more decisive in La decima than he was. In fact he did get mad, while everyone was celebrating with Bale, Penaldo sulked back to the halfway line. He did score a pointless penalty and take his shirt off though. I guess he has that. I honestly can't believe he has three Ballon d'ors.
  6. I think I've made my opinion on this topic very clear in the last few days.
  7. Mate, as a moderator I need to ask you to cut this agression out. It's not to be tolerated. It's a fine line words like that tread and I'm sure the other staff will agree. You can say what you need to say without the attitude. This is your informal warning, I'm sure you can clean up before real warning and suspensions need to be dished out.
  8. Eh, I'm not overly concerned about him. One more season is more than fair, I'm cautiously optimistic about him. I have faith that he can reach his potential, if not then out the door he goes. Same goes for Willian and Cuadrado, hopefully the backroom staff can work out these players kinks and flaws. Willian's issue is by far the easiest to analyze. He just needs to man and take responsibility instead of doing a cowardly back pass to the fullback. If I can live through, Anelka, Malouda and Kalou, I can live through this. Anelkalouda seems like a distance dream to the issues the team has now.
  9. What is the point of debating with you if you just believe my opinion is a waste of time? I'm open to new ideas and I am willing to say I'm wrong when I'm wrong but you are something else. I guess I'll keep my lol arguements and stupid questions to myself, thanks for the respectful debate, I had fun .Have a nice day.
  10. I did not say that I know Mourinho's plan b nor did I say that he has one, I said that he hasn't shown one thus so far. Redundant question to ask me. I said that the attacking talent "should be capable of defeating any team" not that it can nor did I say that they should be steam rolling the defences of other teams. There is a difference between what I've said and what you'd inferred from me. Unless you stop putting words in my mouth, I have nothing more to add to this debate of ours. If £300,000,000 is a work in progress, then the club should seriously question the scouting sectors of the club. Pathetic to spend this much money on a team that plays pragmatic football. That is true the team has only lost three teams this season. But the team is winning at what cost? Grinding out results? Disgusting. To win with style and defending with grace should be the team's ultimate goal. The attacking is disjointed and the defending is at times desperate and hamfisted. Notwithstanding Chelsea is a club in the postition to buy success and indoing so may as well buy it with a beautiful intent. I am not upset with the success the club is achieving but I am very critical of the how the success is being achieved. Do the means really justify the end?
  11. He has dived a lot in the past. In particular the last season or so.
  12. Those three teams are inconsequential for the majority of the year save for a chance encounter in the Champions League. The other 19 teams are the teams that Chelsea has to defeat to win the league. The players that Chelsea has at it's disposal should be more than capable of winning any match in the league. If what you say is true and the team has over-relied on Cesc Fabregas to makes things tick than the fault falls squarely on the manager's shoulders for not have a plan-B. When a key player is out of form it is the manager's responsibility to come up with a solution, of which there hasn't been one. The squad isn't a paper-thin QPR that would be relegated without Charlie Austin. The resources available at this club are boundless and the fact that Chelsea can barely draw with Southampton and Burnley lose to Bradford City with the so often called best manager in the world is embarrassing. Since the club has last won the league a total of £377,850,000 has been spent on players, players that can't beat Burnley. Unacceptable to play in such a pathetic manner.
  13. The other 19 teams in the league would love the players Chelsea has. Show some perspective, this team isn't QPR or Sunderland. What attacking talent would you have? Messi? Reus? Bale? Complete nonsense that the team's potential is waved away so quickly. The team was scoring much more at the start of the year there is no excuse for Mourinho or the players to have been performing so poorly.
  14. Criticising Mourinho and wanting him sacked are two different things. I am very critical of him as of late. The recent form and perfomances of the team are in dire need of criticism, it is as if Mourinho is blinded by his own arrogance. If he doesn't adapt and change he is in danger of becoming a completely found out manager like Wenger. The parallels are there and it is startling, of course it is still early days and Mourinho has time on his side. I'm confident the shipped can be turned. I'm not critical of the success the team has had 1st in the league and a Carling Cup but I am critical of the perfomances leading to this success. I'd like to see domination and not scrappy wins. Did you know the team hasn't scored more than 2 goals in 13 games? Absolutely unacceptable with the attacking talent the team has in abundance. I have faith in Mourinho but does Mourinho have faith in the team? I don't know, but with the lack of rotation and the emergence of a few untouchables, I don't think he really has.
  15. There are some stiffs lurking in this thread, fuuuck.
  16. To be honest Henrique is pretty brave to post in this thread again.
  17. It's all quite depressing really. Chelsea winning the league but at what cost? I used to be fine with winning ugly as sometimes it needs to be done but when every win is ugly, it becomes upsetting to see. The team can't lose graciously, there is no style in defeat or pride to be found. Defensive football can be beautiful but not when it is as hamfisted as it was yesterday, with players scrambling around desperately trying to defend the goal. In 2012 it was acceptable to play defensive and ugly football to win the Champions League as the team was absolutely horrid and when the chips are down, there is every right to use such methods. But its not 2012 anymore, three years on the team has the resources and the players to be dominant in offence. There is no excuse for such a hamfisted approach to the sport when managers and teams have the means not to. Do I begrudge a team that consisted of Kalou, Betrand, Torres, Mikel and Anelka of playing shitty boring football? No. Do I begrudge a team that has Hazard, Fabregas, Filipe Luis, Remy and Costa of playing shittiy boring football? Fuck yes I do. Success breeds hatred but Chelsea would be significantly less hated if that success came with style rather than grinding out wins.
  18. As things stand, De Bruyne would be a godsend on either wing. His offensive abilites far outstrip Ramires, Oscar and Willian. Coincidently three Brazilians; a nationality famed for it's flair and attacking nous. Shame that those three tend to fall under the grafting and grinding archetype. Now grinders are useful at times, but they aren't the type of players that necessarily turn the tides of a game and produce game winning moments. Sure all three have done that in the past but not at a consistent level that would make them reliable. They'd be better as hockey players...40 seconds shifts of explosive energy. Oscar is by far the most frustrating. He has shown glimpses of otherworldy ability. His performances against Juventus speak louder than words but I can't remember a recent performance worthy of such praise.
  19. Not a fan. He runs fast and works hard (heh, seems to be recurring theme in this squad) but then does a nice and tidy backpass to the fullback. That effectively kills momentum.
  20. Mourinho is an arrogant man. He only method is his way; and sadly his way is to the detriment of the team. I feel he'd rather lose than compromise.
  21. I will be surprised if he starts, and disappointed if he doesn't. Absolutely criminal that Ivanovic is still gettting the starting berth over him.
  22. He is terrible and I've been a proponet of this for a while now. He simply isn't the defensive stalwart he was several years back. For someone that fancies himself an offensive fullback his offensive contribution and abilites are extrememly lacklustre. Aside from set pieces, I think this guy is a liability.
