They may be able to sign a few good players but their squad is still far thinner and lacking the quality depth that all of the current top 4 have (when fit, in Arsenal's case).While at any given time we can bring Oscar, Schürrle, Willian, etc off the bench and City can bring Negredo, Nasri, or Dzeko on, when Liverpool go to their bench they have players like Aspas and Moses. Their squad is still light years behind ours and City's. It's going to take a few windows before they're on our level. Very nice first XI but no real game changers in the squad. I think they'll be battling it out for 4th spot next season when everyone around them strengthens and they have to play in Europe.

Seeing Liverpool win the title would be torture. Not just because of their supporters and the media creaming themselves over Rodgers and everything , but also because we played a pretty big role in their resurgence. We gave them £50m for a crocked, shit player and handed them a 20+ goal scoring striker for peanuts. We need to make damn sure we beat them and hope that City do too.

Same here, mate.Like I said in the live match thread, it's like we just assume because we have far superior players that we can just show up against sides like this and win on talent and stature alone. Like sides will just roll over and die for us. We need a few "killers" in our team who can't be contained against sides like today. You look at a player like Suarez who gets a single look at goal and buries it. He puts absolute terror in opponents. We have Torres out there who looks like he started playing football last week. There are sides in mid table who have strikers better than Torres. It's embarrassing for a side as big as us to have this useless lump leading our line. Mourinho knows it but can't say it in public. You just know he wants the summer to come ASAP so he can finally add the players he wants.

Yep. Missing a worthy striker and a dire lack of ideas in the final 1/3rd. We rely solely on individual brilliance from our AM's and if we don't catch sides on the break we're static and sluggish in and around the box. These are problems City and Liverpool don't have. They both have awesome strike forces and the likes of Silva, Yaya, Suarez, and Sturridge who can create something out of nothing or are clinical finishers. We need someone TOP CLASS next to Matic who can pull the strings and create and we need a striker who can not only score loads when we're playing well but also bail us out in matches like today where we struggle.

We know City are most likely going to win the title so I kind of want them to win today so that we still have a small gap over Arsenal. The way we looked today and since Stoke have been decent lately we may well lose that one too, so we need that cushion between us. What a depressing day. We blow aside one of the big dogs and then shit the bed against one of the worst sides in the league. We better address these problem positions in the summer ASAP. Torres is an embarrassment to the badge and a cancer to this team. Ship him the fuck out of this league.

Our players should hang their heads in shame. Utterly terrible performance. Even our best players like Hazard and Matic continuously gave the ball away and if we were playing any clinical side we would've lost by many more. Instead of likely moving 9 points clear of Arsenal and putting pressure on City and Liverpool, we now have to be concerned about Arsenal again. If they win today they're only 3 points behind us. Sides like City and Liverpool wouldn't have lost this game today but we do time and time again. Likely title gone.

Thing that worries me about Liverpool in the title race is the fact that they'll probably sweep aside the bad teams. While we are awesome in the big games and against good sides I can see us fucking up and throwing it away against relegation fodder. This will likely be remedied with a world class striker next season. Someone to singlehandedly win us a match when we need it. Like both of our title challengers have.
