The more I see of Liverpool the more I think that we'll beat them handily in a few weeks. We should dominate in midfield and our wingers should be able to make Johnson and that ugly ass goblin Flannigan look silly. They're flat track bullies just like Arsenal. Only reason they're in the title race this season is because they aren't in Europe. How many more games could we potentially play than them by the end of the season? Also doesn't help us that their attack is having the same effect City's has had recently on the bottom half sides where they're scared shitless by Suarez and Sturridge before the whistle even blows. I think both us and City will beat them at Anfield.

Maybe it'll change if we were to actually sign him, but right now I just can't get that excited about the prospect of getting him. I just don't think he's on the level of Aguero, Cavani, Ibra, Falcao, Suarez, or RvP. He doesn't wow me or make me feel 100% confident that he'll be a 25 goal a season striker that I crave to see here. I don't think he'd flop here, but I just don't think he's as good as his stats make him look this season in a league where teams can't defend. Think he's having a very nice season but I'm not sure he can consistently be on a world class level season after season.

Now that Ba has confirmed he's off in the summer (as if we didn't know that already) that's one down and one to go. Now if we can get rid of Torres we'd be golden. I'd be happy with a striker force of Costa/Lukaku/Eto'o. But by all accounts it seems like Eto'o wants to join one of his former clubs to see out his career. Maybe we'll luck out and we'll see more than one new striker brought in.
-
Moyes has just actually said that he thought Mata played really well. I literally forgot he was on the pitch in the 2nd half.
-
Moyes has taken United 6 points behind his former club and they have a game in hand! Any other club in world football would've sacked him months ago but it's not the "United way" so they'll keep him at their own peril. Hilarious.

As long as Liverpool don't win it then I'm content with 2nd-3rd in José's first season back.

Title is City's to lose. Can't see them losing another game this season. Maybe against Liverpool. At least we get some joy out of the day as Arse pulled an Arse. They're in serious danger of total collapse and falling out of the top 4. Wenger should retire from football completely if that happens.
-
Dead ringer for Pellegrini.
-
Useless fucking Swansea. Just conceded twice in a minute to give Arse the lead and probably 3 points.
-
Feel for him a bit to be honest. United dragging him down to their level.
-
Wtf was that, Fellaini!? LOL
-
I remember when I actually wanted us to sign Fellaini. He's fucking terrible!
-
We did the double over this side this season. Making United look like a pub team.
-
Fucking hell! That defending...
-
Let the rape of Tom Cleverly by Yaya commence! Please win this, United!!!
-
Hmm? I regularly see him getting stuck in and winning balls off of players much bigger than he is. Not asking him to be Matic or Yaya or anything. Ramires is just as frail as Oscar and doesn't struggle there. He's a much better passer than Ramires too.
-
A part of me still kind of wishes to see how he'd do playing deeper next to Matic. There were concerns before about playing him back there because we'd be exposed defensively if Lamps or Ramires were next to him, but now that we have Matic I'm not sure it would be too big of an issue. Oscar can still get forward and score goals and being in CM can take further advantage of his defensive workrate. He can win the ball in the middle of the pitch and receive it from the defenders to start attacks like we already see him doing, but we could then maybe move Willian to the #10 role for a bit more creativity. Something like: ------------------------New ST--------------------------- Hazard---------------Willian-----------------Schürlle ----------------Matic--------------Oscar----------------- Shaw-------------Terry----------Cahill-------------Azpi ------------------------Courtois---------------------------- Think that side has great balance. Rock solid defensively, bags and bags of energy and athleticism, and plenty of goals from all over the pitch. Moving Oscar back into CM may be able to save us a ton of cash that we'd have to use to buy another one.
-
I grew with this. I definitely think there's something to these rumors. We're 100% sure that a top class striker will be bought so will Lukaku be content with being 2nd or even 3rd choice if we retain Eto'o? Knowing that he could be first choice at numerous other pretty big clubs I'd say no. I'd absolutely love for him to be a monster for us and be first choice but I still don think he's quite ready yet for that. He'll still get plenty of playing time here even if he's not first choice. Under no circumstances should we even consider selling him to a PL side.
-
Think United will come into this one on a high and thinking "we can win this!" but will get destroyed. Hope I'm wrong. I can just see Silva slicing through that defense like butter.
-
This. We'll have one of the most athletic and explosive sides in the world, if not THE most. Not to mention perfectly balanced. Having Shaw providing overlapping runs for Hazard would be special and Shaw working with José will make him great defensively as well so Hazard can express himself even more. Then on the other side we'd have the rock solid Azpi as first choice RB where he belongs. Teams would struggle mightily against that side of our team too with the energy, pace, and athleticism of Willian/Salah/Schürrle in front of Azpi. We can use Ivonovic in rotation along the back 4 or if José feels we need a bigger physical presence. This team will have some scary good potential with just 3 signings. LB, CM, ST.

I guess Spanish football just isn't for me. Everyone on twitter praising how amazing a match that was. There's just so much diving, flailing, bitching, and moaning for me to enjoy it. It's so bad in that league that the insane talent is bogged down by it. Even these world class players like CR7, Iniesta, and Neymar constantly fall to ground at the slightest touch and bitch to the referee. And they get the calls every time! Only time I can watch the big Spanish sides is in the CL when there are English refs who don't fall for all the shit the players try to get away with. Ronaldo and Neymar feel contact as light as a feather and drop like they've been hit by a round from a sniper.
-
Lets hope so, man. Can't see it myself. Think this'll be another Liverpool demolition. It'll be a 3 goal win I'd say due to Spurs' terrible high line. They're in 5th place with a 0 goal difference. ZERO! After spending £100m on attacking talent. Embarrassing. Think even this years terrible United would spank this lot.
-
Yet another completely undeserved win for Spuds. They've been second best for the majority of this one as has been the case for most of their season. They're EASILY the worst side in the top 8.
-
I really like watching Southampton play. Excellently coached and very good players. Spuds are terrible, though. It's like they have no tactics. Just a bunch of individuals running around as if they've never played together before.
-
If they're willing to throw that kind of crazy cash for a relatively unknown DM, then I'd start to worry about our prospect of getting Shaw. They may go in and overpay like mad before we even attempt to sign him. If they go in and offer Southampton absurd money just to get the deal concluded I'd be let down. Still see absolutely no reason for Kroos to want to go there. He can have his choice of club. He can play in the CL for some of the worlds best managers in glamorous cities and play CL football. Why go to dreary Manchester and play under a terrible, clueless manager with no CL football? We must attempt to sign him if he wants out at Bayern.
