Pellegrini with yet another shot at José there. Cunt.
-
They've both had good seasons. New country, new manager, new teammates. They've done as well as could be expected. I think Willian will be awesome next season. Hopefully Oscar kicks it up a gear as well.
-
Especially a CM. We know for a fact the striker(s) will come. If we invest in a world class CM we'll be better than City. I'd give them the slight edge if we stick with bloody Ramires.
-
Imagine how good they'll be next season with Mangala and whoever else they buy. And with Agüero actually fit. Scary. We have our work cut out for us.
-
I am sort of glad to see that Pellegrini isn't getting much praise from the media for City winning the title. Any competent manager could win with that squad. José would walked the league by 10-15 points with this City squad. Pellegrini looks like he kind of just let's his players do their thing without much coaching or anything. Just a pretty good manager, nothing special.

How much would you guess? £20m?Don't know if he's good enough to an everyday #1 striker, but if we indeed sell Lukaku I'd love Dzeko.
-
Dzeko would score so much here. I know José highly rates him, too. City wouldn't let him go, though. Their 2nd/3rd best striker now has about 5-6 goals more than our best.
-
LOLNo. He's not better than any of those players. Maybe even with Di Maria.
-
I think he's a level below Mata to be honest.
-
All of this, pretty much.Plus, he can put in a tackle without fouling and won't get suspended numerous times per season for petulance or violent conduct.
-
Chelsea fused with Nigeria?
-
If we're spending huge money on a striker he's going to be our Suarez/RvP/Agüero. In other words, he's going to be nailed on to start every match he's fit. I just can't see Lukaku willingly coming to get minutes here and there.
-
Lukaku himself just said that he wants to win Player of the Year and/or Young Player of the Year. Those are the kinds of goals he sets for himself. There's no way he can accomplish either here unless he's first choice and playing every game. Which he won't be. When we buy a new toy for huge money, he may think to himself that he may end up like Ba where he hardly gets a look in or may only get tossed in at the 80th minute. I just can't see Romelu achieving his ambitions here unfortunately. I'd love to see him happy to come and contribute in any way he can, but when he can start for big clubs like Everton and be the main man, why would he come and be a backup?
-
Ramires is a 27 year old finished article. Ross Barkley is a 20 year old with enormous potential to become world class and already does numerous things better than Ramires.I'd love us to buy him but can't see any way he leaves Everton unless we throw £40m at them or do a cash + Lukaku swap for him.

Not feeling this kit as much as the current one. The horizontal stripes on the front and the random stripe above the name on the back kill it for me. The yellow surrounding the badge on this shirt looks pretty tacky too. This seasons kit has been my favorite in years. Hopefully the 14/15 kit looks better on the players in matches than it does on a hangar or in pics.
-
Yeah, he's definitely the one I'd want done ASAP.If we make an early splash it could be a catalyst to convince others to sign.
-
So my memory is a bit fuzzy. Do deals start happening as soon as the season is over or is there an official day that the window opens? Would be nice to get at least one deal done before the World Cup.
-
You could hear a pin drop at Old Trafford in these first 10 mins. Silent as a library.
-
Come on. Rakitic isn't close to Fabregas' class yet.
-
He's a Grade A cunt for sure, but is world class on his day. He's being both under utilized and played out of position often times at Barca. Don't think their supporters are too in love with him either.Similarly to Suarez or Costa if he'd help us win matches I don't care. This kind of move ain't happening, of coarse.
-
We'll kindly take 1 order of Cavani with a large Verratti on the side, PSG, thanks!
-
Unless it's for an extortionate fee like £35m or more or we already have a deal agreed with a top class CM then I don't really think it's worth selling him. He's popular with the fans, he's popular in the locker room with the players, and he's versatile on the pitch. I can see the Brazilian players being devastated if he's gone, Oscar especially. If Barca or Bayern want him they'll hopefully either have to pay a huge fee or swap a player for him that is excess to their needs but we're desperate for. Fabregas or Kroos would work for me.
-
Bet this City/FFP ordeal gets dragged out past the end of the week response deadline. Would be one hell of a favor to us this summer window if both City and PSG are slowed down a bit.
-
So after all the shit talking from Pool fans about their glorious, beautiful football compared to our football over the whole season, they're going to end the year with the exact same trophy haul. All those goals and brilliant play from their strikers when we had almost ZERO contribution from ours and they're going to finish between 1-3 points ahead of us. Please, PLEASE let Madrid steal Suarez from them! Send them back to midtable!
