I'm gonna watch our match and then avoid twitter at all costs. Don't want to see that cunt Pellegrini lifting the trophy and celebrating or GOD FORBID Liverpool luck out and get it.
-
Last sightings of Torres and Mikel hopefully. I'll actually sort of miss Mikel.

Nice! Two of my favorite posters here.

True. Or a direct swap for one of PSG's players.Either Luiz for Verratti or Luiz + cash for Cavani.
-
So they're getting hit by FFP sanctions but plan on going after 2 more super expensive players. Only at PSG.

You're a Bayern supporter now?

Only thing that irks me a bit about what José has been saying lately (and has been saying all season) is that we want to transition from the old generation of players to a new one, but then hints that he wants to extend the contracts of these older players. We have to put sentiment aside here. JT should be the only "old" player we retain. Lamps, Ash, and Cech have to go. Lamps especially, as much as it hurts to say. The whole "recall Courtois and let him battle with Cech" scenario that's being thrown around in the media is stupid. We know exactly how good they both are. We don't need a competition to judge Courtois as if he's some unproven kid. They're both far too good not to be first choice every single match. It's time to sell Cech. Let's please not delay the inevitable for yet another season and let's fully build our "new generation." Lampard, Ash, and Cech all out and replaced with young players with sky high potential.

I love the goalkeeper kit. But where's our CL star like Bayern and Milan have in that pic?
-
Man, all three of our '04 shirts were so damned nice. I hope we do a vertical stripe again this season. The one Man City had the other day was ace.

I think TalkChelsea will have to go into "Performance Mode" if we sign Paulinho. The rage will be immense and will crash the servers.
-
Some people in here are acting like Paulinho is a Charlie Adam level player completely unfit for a PL side.
-
Agreed, unfortunately.Think it's going to take another shit season or half a season before José decides Ramires isn't good enough. Or maybe we'll luck out and he'll regain the form that made him so highly rated by José when he first arrived.
-
I just think he likes Ramires too much.
-
What an absolute dream it would be if we can basically start over in midfield and bring in a couple of top class players there. If only José saw Ramires as we all do which is a squad player. If Luiz and Mikel are gone I wouldn't mind Paulinho and a truly elite, everyday starter CM. Honestly, at this point I'd be surprised if we did bring in a new midfielder. Even though I think it's time Lamps moved on it's pretty clear he'll be back and Luiz I feel José will keep due his versatility. Mikel is the only one who I think will be off and we may just think MvG will fill his spot. Hope I'm wrong and I'm pleasantly surprised by a shiny new CM.

I don't even think he's Chelsea quality anyways. Would be a squad player here and probably last in the pecking order behind all of our current crop of AM's. Decent player who's once more hyped up because he's English. If/when he moves to Liverpool I think he'll show flashes of brilliance in certain matches but won't consistently start and won't consistently be top class. Just a very good option to have but not a game changer.
-
There's only one dumb/technically poor player that regularly plays for us and that's Ramires. Arguably Ivanovic when he's in attack, but he's a natural CB so you can't fault him too much.
-
Looks to be on his way to Liverpool this summer. Sort of a strange move, honestly. Don't think he's better than either Coutinho or Sterling and he's rumored to be costing them £20-25m. That's kind of a lot for a player who won't start every game. Think he's a nice little player but not one who makes me worry about Liverpool or someone who improves them dramatically.
-
Hopefully he's the last resort. If it proves impossible to get anyone better then just get Paulinho on the cheap and hope playing in a much better side with much better coaching makes him the player everyone thought he was before joining Spuds. I think that if we do get him he'll be much better than everyone thinks. The move would probably be made fun of like mad by opposition fans, but I think he'd be good next to Matic.

You forgot CR7 as cover for Hazard and Ancelotti as assistant manager.
-
Mostly women I would think.

Was an honest question, man. Meant no offense.Just weird that you'd 1) spend so much money on a shirt of one of the worst players in our history and 2) spend so much money on a shirt of one of the worst players in our history who more likely than not won't be here next season. You could have just waited is what I'm saying.
-
Gonna look pretty funny when you wear a Torres shirt next season when he isn't here, no?
-
Guess that's the "Chelsea rumor of the day pulled from our asses" article. For £35m we could probably get next to any CM we wanted.

Again, when Suarez, RvP, Ibra, Messi, CR7, Agüero are fit they play every single game. When RvP was fit all last season he started. Even when he went through that pretty long slump with no goals he still started every game. Suarez the same this season. If we pay big money for a striker and he for instance goes 3 matches without scoring, I still think José starts him ahead of Lukaku. He's not going to regain form by sitting on the bench. You're right about the fact that he'll see plenty of playing time as the #2 striker but it'll be in cup games or against smaller sides if we have a midweek match or as a late second half sub. With all of the talking Romelu does about wanting to be the best in the world and a legend and all that, I somehow doubt he'd be happy with that playing situation. He'll look at his countryman Benteke starring as the main man and think "I'm as good as he is and I'm riding the bench." I'll repeat, I really hope we keep him and he's happy to stay and play second fiddle to Costa or whoever. He can be an important player for us.

Come on, mate. Liverpool are a completely pure club. Their players play for peanuts.
