Seems like a pretty average player reading around the net. Won't start worrying about them until they sign some real quality.
-
My only issue with him being in the role he played yesterday is that he wasn't a goal threat at all really. He was nearly invisible in the final third.
-
Is Rojo really that good? I personally had never even heard of him before the World Cup and he wasn't any better than "okay" from what I saw. Never thought to myself "yeah, he's destined for a top, top club."
-
Someone have the post match interviews from Mourinho and Cesc/Terry?
-
Only negative for me was how susceptible we look defensively. Matic also had a somewhat poor match so I look forward to how much better we can be when he's up to his usual standard.
-
Fabregas....speechless

Get ready for some atrocious Ivanovic crossing. Only damper on this lineup. Wanted to see Luis hit the ground running and be nailed on first choice. Seems Ivanovic will still be a huge part in the starting lineup.
-
Yeah, fair enough. Still wouldn't have him in here, though.
-
To me, Demichelis is either average and you don't really notice him or he's shit and sticks out like a sore thumb. Never a "damn, he's good" type of defender.
-
Nerves starting to set in. Have a feeling Burnley are going to be playing out of their minds and we're going to have a slow start.
-
He's got a couple of mates here in Ivanovic and Matic so I'm sure he'd want to come, but City would never sell to us. I'd have him in a heartbeat. Very young and very talented. City are indeed idiots. They're really going to sell a highly promising young CB and keep that old fossil Demecheiles who's a walking liability?

Big Pete has seemed in a pretty cheery mood on twitter today. Wonder if he's been given the nod.
-
This is going to be a frustrating night, then? I kind of dread these types of matches. Or at least I did last season. When we're expected to totally dominate a team and everyone all over the place picks us to smash a small team 5 or 6-0 and we end up struggling mightily or losing.

I distinctly remember many Arsenal fans doubting whether Ramsey was even Arsenal quality. He was borderline terrible a couple of seasons ago.Now they all think he's the best player in the league (LOL!).
-
City's midfield is the reason I hope we're still open to bringing in another CM. For the big games you know City will probably play a midfield 3 of Yaya/Fernando/Fernandinho and be ridiculously strong there. I'm not sure I'd trust Ramires up against a midfield like that. If we were to bring in someone like Khedira to play next to Matic and have a 3 of Cesc/Khedira/Matic I'd feel far more confident. We can't forget how important Luiz was in those huge games. He and Matic dominated together. We don't have that kind of partner for him anymore.

Anywhere but United.
-
There's your answer. The closer we get to the deadline, the more desperate they'll become. After their loss and with how poor they looked in certain areas they'll probably go out this week and throw loads of money around.
-
It'll be easy because they'll pay ridiculous fees. Their idiot of a chairman will want to make a splash or two.
-
You can just tell by how calm and relaxed Van Gaal is even in defeat that he knows some big names are coming in. Benatia, Vidal, and Di Maria and they're favorites since they'll have a game a week for much of the season. Wouldn't be surprised if they brought in even more players than that.
-
FUCK THE FUCK OFF!
-
Damn. Was hoping Roma could hold on to him for another season.
-
He was atrocious today, wasn't he?
-
Don't care. Even if they were in the Championship I'd want them to lose.
-
Fuck off, Spuds. Carrying on right where they left off I see. Getting totally undeserved 1-0 wins.
-
Think United are gonna come out here full of confidence and positivity and spank the Swans, unfortunately. Wouldn't surprise me if Rooney got a hattrick. After one match we'll be hearing "LvG is a genius!" "The 3-5-2 is the future!" "United will win the league!"
