You'd think they'd at least show Higuain some respect. He did score a lot for them. They speak of him as though he's been a flop.
-
Reading the Juventus forum, the majority of their fans don't seem bothered about losing Rugani for the rumored price. As for Higuain, looks like they'd drive him here themselves. Doesnt exactly excite me much it must be said.
-
He's basically a younger Courtois. Massive, great shot stopper, commands his area well. Same weaknesses, though, by the look of it. Not a ball player. At only 19 with loads of time to develop he's worth a shot but as has been mentioned in the Alisson thread, he's got that cunt of an agent Raiola.

Jesus Christ, I thought Kasper was in his early to mid twenties! He's 31!? Having not payed attention to his career at all I figured he was still young. Not sure how I feel about him.
-
Marina must've orgasmed when she heard Sarri say he's not bothered about transfer. Might've been the sexiest thing anyone's ever said.
-
To pay that for a keeper is literally mind boggling. When we were mentioned at least we were basically half funding it with the sale of Courtois. Almost £70m for a keeper. That is unbelievable. That's the sort of money you spend on a star attacker. Desperate at this point to see who we bring in.

Stoke were dreadful so it's a bit hard to judge Butland I think. I remember hearing multiple times last season that he was basically the lone standout in their team. As they were being relegated there were rumors straight away that he would be moving to a better club. Would obviously fit into our clubs desire for a young, English, homegrown player. Probably wouldn't be very difficult to pry him away, either.
-
True, good point. He'd probably be angling for a move to Juve or something within 3 years. Really don't have a clue who we can get at this point. Almost has to be Butland.
-
I wonder if Donnaruma is finally possible with Milan having terrible financial issues. I remember him being completely off limits last year.
-
Donawhatshisname I wouldn't mind. Alisson looks done, unfortunately.
-
So in the span of an hour we've got one report saying there have been no talks and now Fabrizio says talks are advanced. 🤔
-
Hopefully the statement we release when we sell him is even shorter and more dismissive than the Conte one was. We sell our legendary keeper to fucking Arsenal to hand the keys to Courtois and this is how it's going to end. You just know that in his first press conference in Madrid he's going to say something offensive about us like "I'm finally at a big club."
-
This is reminding me of the Jorginho saga just last week. One set of journalists basically saying its a nearly done deal for Liverpool, others saying its still up in the air. One thing seems certain at this point, though. Courtois is off.
-
Yeahhhhh. We all love Big Pete but he's nowhere near the Cech we knew and loved these days.
-
Willian soon to return to Chelsea in an ambulance?
-
Forster? Hasn't he been woeful and got benched last season?
-
When I said he reminds me of Mbappe I mean in terms of his insane pace and technique on the ball. Watch him on YouTube and what will immedietly jump out to you is his ability to beautify dribble the ball while sprinting at full speed. You'll also see the ease with which he can beat not just one, but multiple defenders with his skill. I think he'd be devastating opposite Hazard in the PL. I'd be very worried if any of our rivals got him. United and Spuds for example are crying out for a player on their right sides. I truly hope he's on our radar and is a priority if Willian is sold.
-
Imagine the pressure he'll face for every little mistake he makes. He'll be slaughtered and hounded and his price tag will be pointed out and used as a stick to beat him with by every pundit in the world. If he's anything less than DDG or Neuer, he'll be seen as hugely overrated. I think he'll be a top keeper and justify the fee, but if he somehow flops there...my word.
-
Hell no! Watch some of his highlights. He's a sensational dribbler, has excellent close control, and glides past players with ease. Honestly, he reminds me of Mbappe in terms of playing style.
-
Courtois probably licking his chops. Now the club will be desperate and offer him something silly like £250k a week to stay.
-
Liverpool will have arguably the best first XI in the league if they add Alisson. Still after Fekir apparently as well.
-
Definitely feels like the transfer that was most effected by us not being in the CL.
-
Don't have a clue what we'd do as an alternative. People keep mentioning Pickford but firstly, there's no chance Everton would sell him and secondly, he's now being massively overrated due to his World Cup performance. If Alisson is a no-go, we have to keep Tibo and then just risk him leaving on a free next summer.
-
Best for all parties if he goes. Not good enough for the top level but good enough to go to a decent midtable side. He can do what Johnny Evans did where he leaves a big club and establishes himself as a solid piece for a lesser club. Azpi as new captain.
-
Just thinking of a midfield that allows me to watch Chelsea dominate possession and consistently take the game to our opponents (even in the big matches, hopefully!) makes me smile. Not going into every match just praying we don't allow some shit team to bully Fabregas or have Bakayoko get sent off for a couple of idiotic tackles or surrender possession in our half. If we sign Golovin, though, obviously RLC is off on loan and almost surely permanently next summer. Ruben needs to be playing every game and won't if Golovin is here.
