  1. Jorginho repeatedly getting frustrated at his teammates not pressing.
  2. Baka is only comfortable at one specific thing and that's running with the ball when he's got loads of space. When he's asked to do anything with the ball in a decisive manner he's woeful.
  3. Bakayoko.... Just get rid, ffs. 😂
  4. Yeah, Alonso looks like a fish out of water in this system. The 3-4-3 was perfect for him but he looks lost here. Positives we notice already are how comfortable we look in possession and how we're pressing. We've been a bit too easy to play through for my liking but that will surely improve with Kante in the team.
  5. Man, all they have to do is knock a cross field pass to Candreva over and over again and Alonso is nowhere near him.
  6. We look good going forward but already in these two games we look insanely vulnerable down the flanks.
  7. Good point. Hope this is just Sarri wanting to get a good look at him and see how he does rather than just coming in and assuming Alonso is a certain starter. Anyway, excited to see how Barkley does against significantly better opposition. Inter are missing a couple of their best players as well but this will certainly be a big step up in quality obviously.
  8. Same starting XI as Perth. Wonder if he intends to actually stick with Alonso as our first choice in a back 4. Think he'll be fine there against lesser opposition but will be targeted against better teams.
  9. Same. Seems as though every ICC match is televised here in the States except for the Chelsea game. 😒
  10. Martial hopefully. Striker is his best position apparently.
  11. I think Willian would be solid for United next season for sure. Not enough to take them to another level, though. And he ain't getting any younger. I'll put it this way, I would be much happier seeing them sign Willian than going out and buying Bale, Bailey, or some other star attacker. We know what Willian will bring them and it ain't huge production.
  12. Probably because we can't find a club that will take him. Still only 24 as well. Feels like he's about 30 because he's been on our books since 2011.
  13. Absolutely insane to see Piazon still on our books. Feels like he's been here since about 2005.
  14. Yep. At this moment in time Rugani would just be a luxury/insurance player. All of Christensen/Rüdiger/Luiz will feel they should be starters. Having even more competition is overkill. Plus, Cahill is kind of the forgotten man. Wonder what happens with him.
  15. I'm still just curious about where the hell he'd play in our team. Everyone assumed David Luiz was going to leave but he certainly doesn't look to be doing so now. So that means we already have 3 CB's who are comfortable on the ball. Already going to be difficult to see him on the bench now he's fully fit. Bringing in Rugani on top of that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. We saw against Perth that David looked at home in Sarri's system.
  16. Read a stat on Twitter that only Hazard was a more effective dribbler last season than Wilf. Having the two best dribblers in the league terrorizing defenses on the same team would be a joke. Also much more of a goal threat than Wiliian.
  17. I think they probably could but it would blow their entire budget in one go.
  18. The risk with him staying but not agreeing a new contract is that with a year left the likes of City and United will come sniffing around offering him the moon to join one of them on a free.
  19. Please not fucking Spuds, please not fucking Spuds, please not fucking Spuds. A top coach playing in a great team would make Zaha a nightmare. If Bailey is not happenenig Zaha is a very similar player.
  20. The pace, dribbling, and interchanging with that front 3 would be outrageous. With Sarri as coach....oh my!
  21. Didn't I already read that we've bid but that Juve declined it?
  22. True. If he has a season like last where he finishes miles off the title and is a miserable cunt publicly I don't think they'll put up with him. Especially if the football is as shite as it was.
  23. United would be absolute morons to agree to this swap. It would be Mourinho selling out their future in hopes of immediete success.
  24. And this is precisely why there's zero chance Everton would sell him. Especially with only a couple of weeks left in the window. At this point after they've seen Alisson go for £70m, why would Everton not ask the same for a young, English, home grown keeper who just had a brilliant WC and they've only had for a year? It's similar to the Maguire to United rumor. They'd have to pay about double what he's worth. Liverpool fucked the market forever for CB's with VVD and for keepers with Alisson.
