Luis Enrique is the sort of manager you'd see someone like Everton or another midtable club appoint. A smaller club that thinks "this guy managed Messi and Barca, he'll do wonders here!" In reality, and much like Zidane at Real Madrid, you could've put AVB on the touchline and won with the sides they had. Enrique has shown nothing to suggest he's ready for a job like Chelsea. Especially at a time where we'll need to compete with so many other rivals that have established, top class managers who will have been at their clubs for years. This is why we either have to keep Conte or appoint a proven manager. Enrique would be a huge gamble that I feel would fail miserably.

Going from Conte to Enrique would be such a huge downgrade. What a letdown that would be. I pray that Conte can turn this around so it doesn't happen.
-
We'll probably beat West Brom, the mood will lift a bit, and then we'll get battered back to back by the Manc clubs. The mood will be toxic again at that point.
-
I'm sort of indifferent. If he stays that's great, if he leaves I'm not crying. The constant rumors are just boring and tiresome at this point. Maybe we can replace him with a modern keeper who can actually play a bit with his feet. Not even near as worried about Tibo as I am Hazard who is actually irreplaceable.

Barkley injury came at the worst possible time. Just when it finally dawns on Conte that Baka simply isn't good enough, his natural replacement in the team is out injured. Pretty clear that Conte's comments about certain players not being ready for Chelsea were directed at him. This is what he alluded to when he first signed. He admitted he wanted to keep Matic. He's simply far too raw and needed to be developed further before being a regular. Since we paid so much for him I doubt he'll be going anywhere any time soon.

Win against West Brom or he's gone. Let us hope he does.

Man, all this talk about Luis Enrique is depressing. Feels like we're about to enter a wilderness period like Liverpool had until the last couple of years.
-
I don't say this lightly and I'm not really even exaggerating here, but he looked like me if I'd have been thrown in to the Chelsea team off the street. That was the most horrific and inept performance I've ever seen regardless of level. He literally looked like someone took an athlete from another sport and made him play football. Not ready for the PL.
-
People complaining about Tuchel defensively. Fair enough. But he's never had Kante, Azpi, Christensen, etc. He could look much better with these players. Also, even City have shown that they can be shite at the back if you get after them. Liverpool likewise. Barca and Real Madrid are shit at the back. It's all about being so good going forward that it doesn't matter. I'd happily trade a bit of defensive solidity for world class attacking football like City and Liverpool play. Hell, Spuds are normally solid as a rock defensively and still play great football. It can be done. Tuchel is the best available option. Reason why he's apparently Bayern's choice to take over eventually. Or he'll go to somewhere like Arsenal. Get him while we might actually be able to.
-
That man is Tuchel. Available and perfect for the PL.
-
He's the type of CB that you'd see playing for Stoke or West Brom. It's a total farce that he captains Chelsea and plays almost every week. And the one and only reason is because he's English.
-
In my dreams Tuchel comes in and gets acclimated to the team and league before getting backed in a major way this summer. Zero chance of that, though. We'll bring Hiddink back, miss top 4, and then appoint Brendan Rodgers or Luis Enrique. Then we'll be out of the top 4 for years to come.
-
Just don't see who comes in midseason and can turn things around when we're depending on the same players to pull us through. We have City And United both away in our next 3 games. We'll get destroyed in both of those and our top 4 challenge will be toast. Hiddink isn't tactically good enough to completely reverse our fortunes.
-
Don't even see what good sacking him would do. Still stuck with the same squad of average players.
-
Hopefully our new manager will permanently bench Cahill. Even David Luiz looks 10 levels below what he was just last season. This is fucking sad. And we'll be losing our talisman this summer because he won't want to subject himself to this shit anymore.
-
And after that brilliant goal we let a fucking fullback waltz through our entire team and score. Brilliant defending.
-
Seriously, I want to punch my tv every time I watch Cahill on the ball. He's like a fucking panicked donkey. He shits himself and plays himself into trouble nearly every time he gets it.
-
Cahill, Baka, Zappacosta, and Pedro should never be anything more than subs. They are not good enough to start for Chelsea. Until these players are replaced in the XI's we put out we will not be anything more than an average to poor side. Giving Cahill the captaincy was a disgrace since he now seems nearly undroppable when he's fit.
-
Europa League next season without Hazard.
-
We are currently by far the weakest top 4 challengers. By far.
-
Unreal. That was the single worst performances I've ever seen of any player, ever. No top 4 for us this season I fear.
-
He needs to be subbed immediately.
-
We are so fucking poor. Zero pace or rythm to our play. The ball just stays at the feet of our CB's for ages and they can't find anyone. No eye for a pass in midfield, no target to aim for up top. Just terrible. It's actually painful to watch.
-
GET BAKA OFF THE FUCKING PITCH!!!
-
We are the only big club in the PL that regularly allow these small clubs dominate possession and the run of play. Fucking infuriating.
