PSG are huge choke artists. All that money spent and they're stil extremely reliant on one player (Neymar) to pull some magic out of his hat in these massive games. Mbappe didn't do much, Cavani was invisible, and Neymar spent more time on his ass than on his feet. Theyre like the ultimate flat track bully side who are soft when it matter most.

Would look pretty bad at this point if we get humiliated against Barca after watching all of the other English sides dominating their ties (Spuds only drew their game but dominated much of the game). Really just need some matches and minutes to sharpen up. The physicality and workrate were there already. Also goes to show you how a good center forward can immedietly strike up a great understanding with Hazard. Costa, Morata, and now Giroud have just about instantly linked up well with him.

If it hasn't happened already, Hazard needs to be offered £350-400k a week to stay. Where on Earth would we be without him and who on Earth would we replace him with?

Told you guys pre game that WBA would be hacking at our players all game. Also, like someone said above, I'm really, really worried about our midfield. Kante is being spread so thin and even he will eventually fatigue. Barkley out injured for who knows how long, Baka is woeful, and DD is just average. Even Cesc looks very off the pace. Not as sharp and quick with his passing as he usually is. I fear for us in this area against Barca and the two Manchester's in the weeks ahead. Not going to be pretty.

Speed up the passing and they can't handle us. Zombie ball like we did to start and they have a chance.

We are just awful to watch now. Look at us compared to Spuds and Liverpool and even they look a level above us now.

It seems he just doesn't have that burning desire to score like Salah does. With Hazard's ability to easily run past people and get shots away he should be up there in goals but is just not selfish enough I guess. Alexis is the same way as Salah. When he gets the ball anywhere near the opposition box his first thought is to aggressively look to score. Eden's isn't.

Normally coming off a bad run and having a big showpiece match like this on Monday night I'd expect a huge, forceful performance from us. Lift the mood a bit and get a bit of good form going into this murderous run we have coming up. I have to imagine well start on the front foot and be aggressive from the beggining. But I sadly wouldn't be surprised at all if this is a snore fest where West Brom deploy their usual dirty ass tactics against us. The likes of Yacob is always hacking at our players and in particular Hazard. They'll likely try to make this as ugly and stop-start as possible. Early goal would be huge obviously.

Good to hear but I'd still start Giroud today instead. Get Morata as fresh as possible for the FA Cup match next week.

Been thinking a bit recently about how Mo Salah has kind of put Hazard to shame in terms of scoring production from the wide attacking position. I think Hazard is the superior all around player but for some reason just doesn't have that same killer instinct that Mo has. I wonder why that is, though. Hazard gets into those same dangerous areas and loves to cut inside just like Salah does but doesn't score anywhere near as much. Is this down solely to Liverpool's system? Is it Hazard's mentality? He should be scoring 25+ goals a season. I guess you can say that if he played in an all out attacking side like City or Liverpool he'd probably do so. But it's not like our tactics have really restrained him because he's been one of the best players in the league for all but one season since he's been here. I don't know, I guess what I'm saying is it's kind of embarrassing (idk if that's the right word) that Salah has already scored nearly 30 goals in his first season in English football while it would take Eden 2 years to score that many. I know Hazards first instinct isn't to score like Salah's is but still. To have that many more goals this season is sad.

Just saw on Twitter that Aguero has scored more goals in 2018 himself than we have as a team. Damn, that's embarrassing. Even more so when you consider the fixtures we've played. And he ain't even Pep's first choice striker. Anyways, just watching Salah and KDB and thinking we had this season's two leading POTY candidates on our books and did nothing with them is sickening. Just imagine Salah and Eden flanking our striker with De Bruyne in the Fabregas role. 😩😩😩 We'd have 3 attacking players that are worth £150m each in today's market.
