Having gone up 2-1 and having a golden chance to kill the game, City or Liverpool would’ve gone into kill mode and scored 2 or 3 more by now. We shut down and go into turtle mode.

Alonso is such a fucking liability, man. It’s so rage inducing to watch him game after game do the same shit. He is literally ONLY effective when he gets the ball in full flight. If he gets the ball when standing still or just jogging it’s as though he’s running in quick sand. He can’t beat ANY defenders 1v1. And then he gets roasted defensively himself. We’re getting carved through repeatedly in midfield, too.

I don’t exactly care per se. I just want to watch a game that’s at least competitive. Watching all our rivals batter shit teams is not happening.

Feels like it’s been 6 months since we’ve seen Lukaku start a game for us. I like the idea of pure pace up front with Pulisic and CHO, but neither are exactly in good form right now. No clue what to expect from us today.
