WH’s defense is there to be had over and over when we move it about quickly. If we can score again and go 3-1 up I think it would demoralize them enough to kill the game. RLC has been pretty good but if he can get on the ball more and quickly run at them I think he’d cause them all sorts of problems.

Havertz has been excellent here linking play and stretching the WH defense all over the place. Hope he’s okay to continue. But it looked like a high ankle knock which could be really bad. 😩

This match will likely be won or lost depending on how RLC performs in midfield. If he struggles again they will run all over us.

Second half against Brentford, large stretches against Burnley, most of yesterdays match. Becoming a theme this season against vastly inferior sides. Shit teams are told to press us high and basically play bully ball and we struggle massively with it. At least against Brentford and Burnley we played well for much of the games. Yesterday we were shit for about 85% of the game. West Ham have dipped slightly recently but are a much better side than than these other teams we’ve struggled against. And they love to get physical and press. If we line up with Alonso and Azpi as the wing backs again and a midfield without any of Kante, Kova, and Jorginho we will absolutely struggle.

West Ham will run all over us if we are anywhere near this poor at the weekend. I pray Reece and Kante are fit. Jorginho, too.

This performance is so poor that it’s almost unwatchable. I may seriously turn this shit off in a few minutes.

My goodness. Just as it was against United, we look in more danger OURSELVES on our own set pieces than the opponent! And our players are dropping like fucking flies. This season is going from sublime to to nightmarish in a matter of days!

City and Liverpool are rampant and full of swagger and confidence like we had been recently. We have to weather this and get 3 points at all costs. We have to grind out victories until Kante, Kova, and Reece are back fit. Because those 2 clubs have the attacking talent to pull away from us quickly now.

It’s obvious that RLC can be dropped in to a well oiled Chelsea side with everyone else fully fit and perform well. But he’s nowhere near good enough to be the main player who runs the game.
