United are done this season. Dead team. Hope Atleti knock them out of the CL now, too.
-
Arse have a pretty brutal remaining fixture list unlike ourselves. Some big games and games against those fighting for their lives at the bottom. So 3rd should be safe for us.
-
Think Arse will be a lock for the last CL spot after today. Of those chasing 4th they are by far and away the most cohesive and have a huge advantage over United and WH who have Europe to focus on. City should smack a United missing CR7, Varane, Cavani, and Shaw like 5-0 in a couple hours. Annoyingly, I think Arse will be the real deal next season with a couple of proper signings. And with the attraction of CL football finally returning they should easily be able to attract players.

Think most of our remaining PL matches against the fodder of the league will be much like Burnley today. Lot of clubs fighting for survival who will make things as annoying as possible for us but if we score first we’ll blow them away. Norwich and Leeds in particular are shocking defensively. Newcastle have been jolted from the dead and have actually been impressive lately so that probably won’t be as easy as it seems. Oh, and btw, looking at the table and considering our remaining fixtures I think we can safely say now that barring an epic collapse we are a shoo-in for top 4. Really only a sudden rampage by both United and Arse would put us in danger. If City beat United tomorrow I think they’re done as a threat to us. But Pep’s City seem to choke quite often against them so I don’t entirely rule them winning out.

Handball inches in front of Mariner’s face and he doesn’t see it…
-
Take Reece off now and wrap him in wool before these cavemen fucking snap his ankle.
-
We’d be within touching distance of the top 2 for sure if we had RJ and a chilly this whole time, I have no doubt.
-
HOLY SHIT, WHAT A 10 MINUTES!!!
-
LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Move it quickly and this is what you get!!!
-
They can if we keep walking around like we’re in quick sand. We pass it around at the back 50 times and then smack it long to Kai who is dreadful at winning aerial duals against physical CB’s. We need more drive and energy in midfield. In other words, we need Kovacic.

Maybe the most infuriating side in the league to play against for our style under TT. All 11 behind the ball when out of possession, endless lumped balls into the box on the rare chances in attack they get. Midfield completely taken out of the game and forcing us to hit it long from our defenders. Also, wtf has happened to Mount? The tenacious machine of a player that would aggressively attack the box? This feels like the umpteenth game on the bounce where he is a ghost. Chalobah, much like Sarr, has so many idiotic brain farts. AC being constantly injured is so annoying.
-
Burnley not even attempting to play football here. Setup entirely to stifle and nullify us and hope for a counter or setpiece. And we’re letting them do it effectively by playing at walking pace. They can sit deep for 10 hours like this.
-
Why do we just repeatedly play aimless long balls AGAIN AND AGAIN exactly as Burnley’s CB;s would would want us to? Lukaku ain’t out there, guys… Getting into us and rattling us so far.
-
Burnley already doing what they do best. Have to stop giving them these cheap free kicks that they can score a jammy goal from.
-
Oh, wow. Aaron Lennon still plays football. I had no idea. He and Jay Rod are there for one reason and that’s to spring on the counter. Hopefully we’re wise to it.
-
Oh, god. I’d rather see YOU out there than Kenedy. 😂
-
Anything is better than seeing Sarr passing the ball to the other team over and over again or stand with the ball at his feet for 30 seconds and somehow still lose it when he’s last man back.
-
Yeah, on second look that’s probably. I thought initially that perhaps Reece was on the left and Trev at RB.
-
Ohhhh, a 4-3-3 by the look of it. That midfield 3 looks amazing, ngl. Hope we play with a super high tempo, press them into the ground, and score early. With all of Havertz, Mount, Kante, and Saul we should be at them from minute 1. Must win game for me. Arse have gotten way too close.

Connor Mcgregor is also a massive cunt and outspoken racist. Wish people would stop giving the bastard attention. Anyways, seems like there has indeed been tons of interest from prospective buyers. Seems like every time I check Twitter there’s a different name out there. The latest is Michael Rubin, another American billionaire. This is another guy similar to the other guy Boehly in that he’s all about glitz, glamour, and flashy superstar players. Still think there’s a twist or two left and that the actual eventual buyer may not have been reported on yet.
-
Isn’t there a flashy Arab prince that wants a shiny new toy out there? I see videos of them driving around London nonstop in their Bugatti’s and Lambo’s. They can show off to their fellow royals and turn us into another PSG. 😂😂😂 It’s just hard to believe that a club of our stature comes up for sale and only these “little” billionaires are in for us. Chelsea is the sort of blue chip club that comes around once every few decades.
-
Burnley have probably the worst attack in the league and can barely score goals but they aren’t so easy to score against as you’d expect for a relegation area side. So this likely won’t be easy. But this is definitely, 100% not a game Lukaku should be starting. Burnley would love nothing more than to sit super deep against a static Lukaku with 2-3 CB’s surrounding him and trying to hit us on the counter. Think we should go with a quick attack. And personally think we should try Ziyech in the #10 spot rather than Mount with Havertz up top and Pulisic and Werner wide.

The club acting more like a Liverpool or a Dortmund or even a Bayern in the transfer market may actually be a good thing. Identifying and signing players who are not hugely expensive but can be turned into superstars with great coaching. Every once in a while you make a huge money signing when needed. Look for top players who are either out of contract or have only a year left. A model that Bayern and Juventus have used for years. It’s imperative that Tuchel is satisfied and stays for the next couple of years at least during this transition.

Many of these English pundits, journalists, and politicians just don’t seem to think that a person can change and evolve and that they ALWAYS have some ulterior motive even when trying to do good. Someone has a shady, questionable past? They’re evil forever. Someone donates huge sums of money to charity? They’re just trying to launder their reputation. No matter how much genuine good Roman did off the pitch these people will never give him credit. It’s really pathetic. People can acknowledge that someone is problematic without treating them as though they are evil incarnate.
