Good Lord, look at that bench. Again we have zero options to switch things up in attack if things go wrong. And again I have no idea how we’re going to score a goal today. Absolute disgrace that this wasn’t called off when loads of other matches have been.

If we don’t win today I’ll probably check out for a while for my sanity’s sake. I’ll resume watching in a couple months when the Champions League returns. Seeing us implode against all these teams we should be beating just puts me in a bad mood for a couple of days afterwards.

Hate to admit it, but if we lose tomorrow we legitimately do have to start worrying about Arse. They’re steadily grinding out wins against all the teams they should be beating. Unlike us.

I’ve started to sour on Lukaku as well now but I still think it’s too early to totally write him off.

Everton are signing a new LB after Benitez has fallen out completely with Lucas Digne. Worth a punt next month? Probably available for relatively cheap and it wasn’t long ago at all that he was arguably the best LB in the PL.

It’s a huge headache for Tuchel. He’s got to constantly rotate these attackers because they’re so inconsistent but as you say, they can’t really reach top form because they’re changed so much. Like, we’ll see CHO have a run of a few games where he’s brilliant and then he’ll go off the boil completely. Likewise Pulisic and then he’ll get injured for weeks or months. And on and on and on. We have ONE attacker who seems to be a nailed on starter and that’s Mase. Liverpool’s front 3 will all score at 15 goals each in all comps. City as a team don’t even need a lone star man because they’re whole unit is unstoppable. We’re still a couple of players short to properly challenge them.

We have no player in our entire squad that can deliver magical quality on even a semi consistent basis. If we had a player or two who produced top quality every other game we’d be so much better off. Ziyech, Pulisic, Havertz, and CHO are like 1 in 8 game players. Lukaku and Werner even worse this season. Contrast that with the two above us. They each have literally 5-6 players who can play to a world class level attacking wise.

Better hope the game at the weekend is called off. We need to buy time to get our players back.

How do Pulisic and Ziyech look sharp as hell in the first half and then totally ghost the entire second half? They were both carving through Everton at will. Can’t blame fatigue because both barely play. Wtf happened?!

All about keeping Arse/United/WH at bay now. The title is gone. Pray for the fitness of key players and make a run at the CL again.

Either City or Liverpool beat the Everton side out there today 8-0. We struggled mightily to score 1. If it wasn’t apparent already this confirmed it. We’re nowhere near ready for the title. Not only did we drop points at home to a relegation area team, but we did so when they played a team full of teenagers. Worst result BY FAR under TT and one of the worst I’ve ever seen.

Azpi is repeatedly getting cooked defensively. He looks done.

If it ends like this or worse, this will be the worst result in living memory considering this Everton team.

RLC gets the ball and beats his midfield opponent EVERY time and then gives it away as soon as he reaches the box. Infuriating, man.

I’d be shocked if there isn’t a short pause coming up. Maybe 2 weeks or so. Which would really screw us over considering we’re in so many competitions.

Our squad is decimated but we should still be beating them. That Everton team is Championship standard. Just get the 3 points by any means necessary. It can be as ugly and horrendous as hell, just win. Think a lockdown is coming and we could have many key players back fit in the other side of it.

Jesus Christ, we have ZERO game changing attacking subs. I’m guessing Lukaku, Werner, and CHO are the ones with COVID? This could be an extremely tricky match now. I was super confident until just now.

Think Rom and CHO were pretty likely to start this one so I disagree that it won’t have an impact. Lukaku in particular needs to start putting minutes in his legs. Feels like it’s been a year since we’ve seen him play a full match. He’s never going to show his best form if he is never playing.
