  1. I don't really get the panic. This was a friendly and against a very strong City XI. So what we lost? Some of the youngsters got to play a lot and that's what matters.. oh and the reported 10mil.
  2. He doesn't look that strong, but he has the strength of an ox. Might be something to do with his father being a judo wrestler.
  3. I know where you are coming from, but AS Monaco isn't just one of the clubs coming up. If the investors are serious about their club, they will be a force to be reckoned with in a season or two just like PSG was. It's much easier to ram through with splashing money to reach the UCL places in France than try to do it in EPL, Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga. Again, Monaco is a club with rich history and has been a club for many superstars of the past.
  4. If these rumours are true and such promises were thrown around then I'm thinking this won't end well -again-. Before writing our name on the trophies there are several clubs we need to defeat first.
  5. AS Monaco is anything but a small club. They were the club that knocked us out of CL semis 2004. With an investor, potential tax heaven - they will be a force to be reckoned with if they play their cards right. Ligue 1 is on the rise with PSG, Lyon, Marseille and now Monaco challenging for the title. CLubs like Lille, St Etienne and Montpellier will only fuel the fire and make it more interesting. 6. I meant to say it in more of a joking tone, definitely not bothered with it hehe
  7. If your previous sentence wasn't, now this was. Double standards!
  8. Looking at the highlights, there was not much cover for Blackman - give him some slack. It seems to me some of you take this post-season game more seriously than some of the Europa League games. Hopefully we get a positive result out of this in NY and if we don't - not a big deal. I'm sure the majority of the crowd enjoyed this game, couldn't as for more in terms of entertainment.
  9. I understand your point of view and agree that it should be done sooner than later, but there is a difference if you announce it 6 months before after the current coach has told he will retire or you go jumping ships when there is so little time left till the end of the season. So in a sense in order not to stir a turmoil, they are doing exactly the opposite.
  10. Perhaps consider Jovetic also - if he is fit- , but generally I completely agree with you.
  11. Spot on. It's not like Ryan Giggs torn us apart with his blistering pace for the past couple of years.
  12. It's funny(and random) you say that, because most people find it disturbing for someone to have such negative feelings towards a person they don't know, someone who has delivered in a professional level and has stayed dignified with us. I guess what ever floats your boat, not going to drag this further - going to watch paint dry.
  13. Who said it was a psychological disorder? Though, having so fixed and unfounded anger is something psychologists might find interesting.
  14. We hate some persons because we do not know them; and will not know them because we hate them. -Charles Caleb Colton
  15. Take that number and compare it to millions of fans that have mutual respect for his achievements here.
  16. Bravo, priorities. Fact is, Frank is 35 this June. He himself has said that even-though he feels like he is 25, he knows that he is not the same on the pitch. Both of them struggled with injuries, especially Terry, who has been out injured majority of the time or regaining fitness giving pens away. Besides, like it or not, under your beloved Rafael Benitez he broke the scoring record while being our top EPL goalmachine. The last sentence is trolling or what? Can't get the joke.
  17. Are we really discussing if Cristiano Ronaldo will come to Chelsea?
  18. I know I was harsh about RdM, he did made us play enjoyable football, but it turned out to be a Brazilian style where the motto is 'We don't care how many we concede, we will outscore anyone'. I am grateful for his services as a player and as a manager, we won UCL under him, but I've said this before - he had as much got to do with us winning UCL as did Rafa with Europa League. I mean we can draw parallels - Matteo subbed off Kalou for Torres, who earned THE corner. Likewise all of us were screaming for Rafa to sub off Ramiers, but he didnt, in fact he didn't use any subs haha. Ramires won us the corner that clinched us the EL.
  19. Let's just put it this way: he did what he was asked for after RdM left this place in a bad state. You can downgrade everything and everyone, but you will just make yourself look like spoilt brat not happy with anything. Fact is RdM dropped us out of Champions League ,but we got maximum out of it by winning this 'mere' consolation trophy. Some of you are very keen to forget we finished last season 6th - 5pts off 4th spot and behind ManCIty and ManU by 25pts. All you stats lovers can do your calculations now how BAD we actually were under him. We WERE lucky to win the UCL and get a bypass to the UCL group stages. Hatred is blind.
  20. Usually people like that are full of anger and that shows. Certain threads show how fickle and unstable they really can be.
  21. Why fix what isn't broken? Juan Mata's 18 goals and 35 assists speak for itself.
  22. Young, dumb and full of cum. Are you always so negative?
  23. Completely, but I'm grateful for his work and for the effort of the team in general to salvage something this year. Jedem das Seine ,but all in all we are in the same boat and I'm looking forward for -possibly- Jose taking over and hopefully all the fans will finally find the common aim to support unlike this season, where it was more about Benitez than it should have been.
