  1. Ronaldo fully deserved that. Messi didn't have the best year according to his usual standards and it's an insult to even compare Messi/Ronaldo with Ribery, he is not even close. That being said, not bad to be 3rd best footballer in the world.
  2. A draw against Arsenal at Emirates, who are far from being the laughing stock they were a season ago - I'll take it, thank you very much.
  3. Don't own a creditcard nor a PayPal account. Any other way?
  4. As much as I respect you mate, I think The only place to be has a valid concern here. A few naive might think this is not a problem, but I think what he wants you to do is somehow assure the rest of us that we won't be getting unwanted spam emails, Facebook friend requests etc just because we joined a footballing forum. PS. Don't delete my XpertEleven team now.
  5. Bertrand has been great, really positively surprised with him. The team has worked liked mad, Mourinho's guerilla management is working - everyone's out to secure another game under their belt.
  6. If you've got AceStream, I'd have a great one - HD picture
  7. Forum runs very fast and smooth, experienced no freezes since the server switch. Keep up the good work!
  8. With the bench we have this season, can't see that being the problem.
  9. No boring games this season, what a show of intent! Well played, Torres MOTM alongside Ramires. Lampard seemed off his game but he'll come around.
  10. To be fair there had been indications that Torres can do better even before Mourinho came along.
  11. His game has been nothing outstanding so far but he did take his goal well, good to see him doing well at Everton.
  12. Watched RM vs Juventus (2-1) Got to say that Pogba was brilliant. He was technical, wasn't intimidated by the star opposing players and had loads of stamina. While some were cramping up, he was jumping around like a young gazelle.
  13. Same as DJames, would take Estonia reaching World Cup / European Championships over Chelsea's CL victory.
  14. Saw him play against Estonia yesterday - although he scored a goal, there wasn't much more from him. Definitely someone to look out for as he is at his peak, but he isn't getting any younger.
  15. It's simple - he is doing great in Everton, the loan spell so far is a total success from Jose's and Chelsea's point of view. Had we not loaned him out, he would not have had so much playing time and there would have been shouts for him to go on loan in January. I'm sure the club and JM are constantly one step ahead. I'm not saying we should trust Mourinho blindly, but he should be given time to stamp his own style in our gameplan - that takes time.
  16. A cool comfortable win for a change! Schürrle and Ramires had a game to remember, the latter being the king of chipping. KTBFFH
  17. Schürrle's been great, made the goal for Ramires basically. Might have slipped a few times doing a dribble but didn't lose possession early. If he can get his first touch a tad better, he could grab a goal himself.
  18. Don't contradict yourself. We might not be Belgian, but we are very much aware of what's going around us. The fact that we aren't biased makes us more objective in our assessments - think about that.
  19. You might be biased but a match against Swindon might have been a small thing for Chelsea Football Club in a trivial cup competition but for KDB it should have been a final of UCL. There is no excuse for him not to show up. He was as sharp as a butterknife. This talk about him being dropped to U21 - if he was left out of the CL squad, should he be training alone? No, of course he will be training with the U21s. Unless there is something concrete, don't make up your mind only based on Daily Fail.
  20. Don't you have a link for the game or don't have time?
  21. Wow, you're a level headed chap - agree with you mate. The game is entertaining, Torres with a goal and assist(?). Really hoping that Azpilicueta will have a better game next half, really fancy him at the RB position. KDB has been transparent, let's see if he can find his rythm against a League One side.
  22. Deserved win for Basel and even though it feels bad to lose two times in a row it's not the end of the world. Commentator was spot on with saying that we are not a team at the moment, which is something Jose usually brings to the team - unity. Too many surplus players, all the stress goes into rotation and keeping everyone in form/happy etc. In time he will figure out his first eleven, play style. It takes time. As the topic of eggs is popular, I'm just going to say that let's count the eggs in the winter. Before that it's too early to predict unless it goes south too fast.
  23. All in all it was a good game to watch, only the finishing was lacking. Nevertheless I really enjoy having Eto'o in our ranks- always wanting the ball and you could see from his vision that he still has it. I feel we lost our momentum with the substitutions, atleast with the first 2 - Schürrle and Mata were better than Lamps, Oscar. I do understand the Cole off, Torres on substitute though, nothing to lose. Them scoring so late in the half didn't help our case either. Hazard Man of the Match for me.
  24. Why fix what isn't broken? We might have been 0-1 down at half-time, but it wasn't due to our gameplan nor players as such - it was one misunderstanding in the box and they took it. Lampard, Oscar and let alone Torres brought nothing to the game, they all were invisible. At least with Schürrle, Mata our attacks were relentless, we held ridiculous amount of possession and it was just question of time when we were to score. With the subs, our chances were cut down to minimum. Substitutions were off. It's a defeat we must learn from, no need to tinker unless there is actually a need for it. Hazard was great, only player who gave his all. Eto'o might have missed a few chances but he was everywhere - was a joy to watch him play, excellent buy.
