  1. I'm a med student mate, I'm in the system. No need to explain. This wasn't about different systems of blood nor what is preferred. O blood is not perfect fit for A but the diglutination is minimal. Having a direct match is always the best option. Only thing is that Rh must match, otherwise it can bring about antigeneD antibodies and rh confict in the long haul. (Rh+ mother and 2nd child of her's with Rh-)
  2. Not how it works mate. You have A blood type in ABO system, meaning that you have antigene A on your erytrocytes, plus by Rh system you dont have D antigene. You can give blood to A +/-; AB +/- and receive blood from A- and 0-.
  3. Same as DJames, would take Estonia reaching World Cup / European Championships over Chelsea's CL victory.
  4. @Korea, since you can't use your limb(s) - I recommend crawling like a snail to burn off the ice cream! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHCxdlZ7G18
  5. You can always swap it for a fourth place finish next season, even 5th - I wouldn't complain!
  6. Saw him play against Estonia yesterday - although he scored a goal, there wasn't much more from him. Definitely someone to look out for as he is at his peak, but he isn't getting any younger.
  7. Depends on goals. If you are after the lean, resilient appearance and not so much after strength (bigger muscles), then you should do 12+ reps each set with sufficient weight. Though if you are after strength, more like bodybuilding then stick with good old 6-8 ( max up to 10) reps each set with heavy weights. 1000 push ups are impressive but over time it won't give you much other than arthritis, because your bodyweight stays roughly the same and in order to get more out of the exercise you need to perfrom silly amounts of push ups, which will wear your joints down. Plus it becomes more of a muscle memory activity. Not putting down push downs etc - very solid exercise if you're getting back to gym routines etc but it does ave it drawbacks.
  8. Back in the gym after a few months off - doesn't mean I didn't train, I did - just did my routines at home. Routine was: - warm-up - bench press 3x 6-8 (80kgs) - incline barbell press 3x 8-10 (50-60kgs) ; thinking of going over to the dumbell version of the exercise - dips 3x10 - tricep pulldowns 3x 6-8 - chest fly 3x 8 + super-setting with 8 push-ups between every set In and out in an hour, glad to be back in the routine. How's it going for you, lads?
  9. It's simple - he is doing great in Everton, the loan spell so far is a total success from Jose's and Chelsea's point of view. Had we not loaned him out, he would not have had so much playing time and there would have been shouts for him to go on loan in January. I'm sure the club and JM are constantly one step ahead. I'm not saying we should trust Mourinho blindly, but he should be given time to stamp his own style in our gameplan - that takes time.
  10. Nah, I'll rather lose 0-5 and let TermX work on his Illuminati theories.
  11. What a great win, thanks for your respect and using a hefty win bonus. Wouldn't be surprised if it was 1kk. Good game!
  12. You can do both. Win the title with playing youngsters vs lesser teams. E.g against teams that have been inactive for a long period of time or just lack quality players overall. Involves a little bit of risk but I think it's doable.
  13. It sure is more flashy but it takes time to get used to. Overall love it that they are working so hard on this, props to the development team!
  14. A cool comfortable win for a change! Schürrle and Ramires had a game to remember, the latter being the king of chipping. KTBFFH
  15. Schürrle's been great, made the goal for Ramires basically. Might have slipped a few times doing a dribble but didn't lose possession early. If he can get his first touch a tad better, he could grab a goal himself.
  16. Don't contradict yourself. We might not be Belgian, but we are very much aware of what's going around us. The fact that we aren't biased makes us more objective in our assessments - think about that.
  17. You might be biased but a match against Swindon might have been a small thing for Chelsea Football Club in a trivial cup competition but for KDB it should have been a final of UCL. There is no excuse for him not to show up. He was as sharp as a butterknife. This talk about him being dropped to U21 - if he was left out of the CL squad, should he be training alone? No, of course he will be training with the U21s. Unless there is something concrete, don't make up your mind only based on Daily Fail.
  18. The real question is: what is USA getting from this? Are they giving weapons etc out to them to keep both sides busy? To weaken the region?
  19. I'm quite surprised Kenya's Westgate Mall shooting didn't come up in this topic. Another religious vendetta that actually was a revenge slaughter done in feud.
  20. Do you know which age group is favouring them? I had a look at the demographics of Belgium and the age pyramid showed that the majority of the population is 40 or below (wikipedia so it's not set in stone). WW II ended in 1945, that's 68 years ago. Maybe the current voters really aware what such totalitarian regimes bring. We all have read it in the history books, but we can never grasp it ourselves unless we have gone through it.
  21. If it is how you described then it's harsh. Though, them being the biggest party means that the majority is voting for them? I mean the people are as adequate as their elected parliament/government.
  22. @Fulham Broadway,@CHOULO19, A bit late, but still: I get where you guys are coming from - equality, harmony etc - but that's utopia. It's human's nature that prevents this from happening. Even if the wealth of all the people would be distributed evenly among everyone - it wouldn't stay that way even for a day. Naive and silly minded would be ripped off by others and this sort of discrepancy would once again be an actual problem. Poor would want to become richer and the rich would be reluctant to give up their position and power. Money and wealth changes people and as soon as someone less fortunate would get his claws behind all the wealth - there's nothing that could be done to make him let go, albeit being from a poorer background and having the understanding how unfair all this can be towards others. Ignorance is a bliss I guess. Out of curiosity: what have you guys done to relieve these kind of problems? (Poverty, environmental etc.)
  23. Depends on the person. People, who can't motivate themselves as hard will always have better results in gym for the obvious reason. Though, you mentioned competition - there are many forms. There's also competition for weights, machines so in the long run you have to do a lot of adjusting and give-ups in order to get any sort of training done. It's great to push yourself from time to time but your body has limits. When you try to compete with others in the gym you put yourself in a position, where you are prone to injuries, because in the end of the day you dont actually know who you are competing against. Having a huge ego and a need to show off is the quickest route to snap city. Every person is different, but if you have all the needed equipment at home (light/average/heavy weights, pull up bar etc), the needed motivation - I think an average person will benefit a lot more from home workouts. Like you said, it's stress free, you've got the time and space to perform exercises and not rushed by other people.
  24. Don't you have a link for the game or don't have time?
