  1. I think about winning a game, getting through to the next stage, not all this revenge bollocks against a team that isn't even our rivals who got a one off win against us in the last game. It hasn't done our 'honour' any harm.
  2. We are through and the bastards from Celtic are finishing bottom of their group. Look on the bright side guys
  3. They weren't lucky, they outplayed us home and away. We didn't manage a shot It wasn't a must win, we are through and need a win against a bunch of cretins to guarantee top spot while our closest rivals play each other
  4. Last time I checked we were still top but ok We also qualified on the last game in 2011/12, failing to beat Genk, Valencia, Leverkusen and still beat Napoli, Benfica, Bayern and oh the best team in the world at the time Barcelona
  5. Take That wrote a good song once. It was called Patience I think...
  6. Lampard and Ramires were both absolutely outstanding tonight Said nobody.
  7. I'd stick a tenner on it being Cech, he's just trouble...

  13. London Derby +Cold Winter night +Big Sam and hoofball as opposition +Upton Park under floodlights +Sold out away allocation +Fucked up tubes = Proper English football
  14. What a testicle! The FA never shut up about how we should show referees more respect (and to be fair there are a lot of good referees out there who give up their time for Sunday League and receive nothing but abuse) but there are a proper bunch of awful ones out there. As someone who had played Sunday league for about 9 years up until last year I have seen some terrible, terrible referees who have agreements with clubs or have a natural bias. Even in regional leagues, where the standard is the highest level before academy leagues we have played with totally incompetent referees and linesman. Our manager has walked in on a referee taking a bribe before in a changing room before a match. There are also referees who 'demand respect' from us before games yet fail to show us any.
  15. Close the main tube line to the Pikey Caravan Park on the day of the match. Great logic there from Transport for London. Cheers Boris you tosser.
  16. Can someone, preferably a politician or senior policeman, explain to me why it is considered 'safe' and legal for 100,000 people to jump around, create mosh pits, uncontrollably push each other, stand on top of each other and consume alcohol while out their mind on crack at a concert at Wembley stadium but it is deemed 'unsafe' and illegal to stand and jump around in a set space at a football match?
  17. The wheels on their houses go round and round Round and round Round and round The wheels on their houses go round and round All day long
  18. We're in Germany's half! We got the ball in their fucking half of the pitch!
  19. I'm assuming you've never heard of the Chelsea Headhunters?
  20. It is definitely up there with our biggest rivalries. The others are probably France, Germany, Scotland and maybe Portugal now. The hate is down to a mix of political history and football history. The political history is down to stuff like the dispute over who the Falkland Islands should belong to. The football history is related to Maradona's 'Hand of God' goal against us in 1986, Beckham getting sent off against them in 1998 and their theatrics in that game and various controversial decisions in games against them in the past
  21. Because we do care during a World Cup and Euros. Its a cultural thing that we always think or believe we have a chance of winning it no matter how shit we have been. We take huge numbers of fans to tournaments because of a mix of love of football and patriotism and just love the World Cup for the buzz it gives the country at the time, flags hanging out of windows everywhere, pubs completely full of football fans etc.
  22. Had a dream last night that we sold him to Oldham...
