  1. Well clearly they do. Don't you see us fill up stadiums in America and Asia on pre-season tours? Yes Abramovich was well known. He was quite a significant face in Russian politics. We won't be sold for £1 considering we have a Forbes value of £574m, (7th most valuable football team in the world) and the club itself has NO debt. We've been hearing 'when Roman gets bored' for 10 years now. Pretty sure he's still interested considering the amount he allowed the club to spend on players this Summer. He is regularly seen at matches and his son looked pretty bored at the Champions League final too didn't he? Isn't he apparently gonna take over when Abramovich gets too old too? Well being owned by Arabs is working OK for Man City isn't it? That's funny you say we won't meet FFP. Pretty sure we will. 3 days ago we announced a loss but we will still meet FFP. Finally, you won it in 2001, not 2000 you doughnut. And it was the Europa League. Until you win the one with the big ears you can button it.
  2. To be honest, whether it is what you expect of a Chelsea player or not, I imagine the majority of our squad members would do the same. In fact you could say Mata has been quite exemplary and patient up until and a lot of players would have done what he did yesterday far sooner.
  3. Personally I don't think he was trying to undermine Mourinho. He's probably just frustrated (as much with himself as Mourinho) and just did what he did in the heat of the moment. The overreaction here is a bit silly in my opinion. It isn't like he is constantly moaning, or dropping hints of his annoyance on social media. Up until now he has just got on with it and accepted his place on the bench which must be difficult considering how good he has been the last 2 seasons. It was a simple isolated incident. I feel a bit sorry for him really. He is a player who always gives everything for the team and loves the club and the fans. It isn't that he's playing badly more just that he doesn't fit Mourinho's system. That happens in football sometimes. If he hands in a transfer request because he wants to leave in search of first team football in a World Cup year then the club should treat him and the request with the same respect he has shown the club throughout his time here and give him the best deal and opportunity to find a good club. He shouldn't leave with any hard feelings and we shouldn't treat him in a negative way either. It is just part of football, unfortunately. He's a nice guy who in my opinion would always be welcome back and a great professional who would be a credit to any club in the world.
  4. he's nowhere near good enough to be in our first team. Hopefully we'll ship him out for good soon.
  5. confirmed by Chelsea, he will join Vitesse on loan http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/3601199/title/traore-to-join-vitesse-on-loan
  6. Totally stupid. Defies logic. Wouldn't surprise me if that muggy berk Gourlay nominates us. I'm all for us meeting FFP but in the middle of the season? We don't need any more games, especially after last season. I doubt the Premier League/FA would let us move a fixture and there are no international breaks so we'd end up playing midweek as WHS mentioned. 7 hour flight, 3 hour time difference, so including the match that's at least 3 days of productive preparation gone, then back for our 12:45 Saturday kick off against Everton, one of the strongest teams in the league. Good one.
  7. Nothing new. Disgusting club. They can call us 'plastic twats', 'no history' etc. all they want, but they've pissed on graves in a cemetery and destroyed Hull City supporter coaches this week. I needn't mention some of the other far worse things their fans have done in their 'glorious history'.
  8. As we are just over half way through the season, here are my updated predictions: 1) Man City- Have a tough run in but have so much firepower. Will be extremely close though 2) Chelsea- We are starting to pick up. Have a lot of teams around us to play at home yet so we could finish top 3) Arsenal- Just don't see them winning it this season but it will be a very solid season. Them and Liverpool will finish a good 7-9 points off the top 2 4) Liverpool- Shown that they can't beat the teams around them. Will chase Arsenal for 3rd. 5) Man United- May gain a bit of momentum and form as the season goes on, can't see them not being in any European competition next season. 6) Everton- Just not sure they will keep up their amazing form and will drop points away from home slightly more than they did in first half of season. 7) Newcastle- Will do well as they won't have Europa League distraction like last season. Don't stand a chance of breaking into top 4 though. 8) Spurs- Can beat Man U away for example, but will continue to drop silly points. Team hasn't clicked yet either. 9) Southampton- Have had a tough period of fixtures and should pick up slightly and get a top half finish. 10) Swansea- Will get knocked out of Europe by Napoli and be able to focus on the league. Laudrup will leave at the end of the season. 11) Hull City- Surprise package of the season. Will be close with Swansea for a top half finish. 12) Aston Villa- Inconsistency will cost them a top half finish. Need to get Benteke back and firing. 13) Stoke- Solid but unspectacular. Dicks. 14) West Brom- Will get a new manager. New manager syndrome will get them enough points to keep them out of danger. 15) West Ham- Big Sam will spend big on his defence and strikers. Just can't see them getting relegated if they keep him in charge. 16) Cardiff- Same as West Brom. 17) Fulham- Berbatov will potentially fuck off and they will be in a last day relegation dogfight 18) Norwich- Have been poor. Last 4 fixtures: Liverpool, Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal. Must get points on the board before then. 19) Crystal Palace- Probably have the easiest run in, but still expect them to go down. Not enough quality. Hopefully good riddance you pikey pricks. 20) Sunderland- Still have tough fixtures to come, poor squad, inexperienced manager. Championship.
  9. We can't underestimate them. Even if that smarmy dodgy car-dealer lookalike berk who cost England a place at Euro 2008 is in charge. They are in with a very good shout of promotion. I'd give a few players a rest (although we don't have a midweek game this coming week) and bring in a few, but not play so few first teamers that we look vulnerable. Schwarzer Kalas Luiz Terry Cole Essien Mikel Willian Oscar De Bruyne Eto'o Subs: Cech, Ake, Schurrle, Cahill, Ramires, Torres, Clifford
  10. you've left out Norwich (h) and Cardiff (a) on the run in haven't you? Anyway, we are in with a decent shout. A very decent one. I expect Liverpool are out of it now because they have shown that they just aren't good enough to beat the teams around them. Arsenal I am unsure of, they are doing very well and grinding out results which is something that they haven't done the last few years but they do have a habit of imploding in the new year, usually around February time (2010/11 springs to mind). Man U might build some momentum but the gap is too big for them to make up now. If City permanently sort out their away form and beat the big teams away from home I will worry. We need to go on a long unbeaten run and beat teams around us because that will be the difference come May. 37 points from our remaining games should be enough
  11. Exactly. No consistency with the pundits- if it is the players you mentioned it is just 'bad' and 'they should stop it'. As soon as it is a Chelsea player it is worthy of a red card.
  12. The atmosphere around the Bridge on the day of Jose's first game was pretty special. The positivity and excitement and buzz before a home game like that was something that hadn't been there for a while Winning Europa league Lampard 203 Rafa fucking off Coming back from 2-0 vs Man U in FA cup then winning the replay 90 minutes of taking the piss and acting like general bellends at Arsenal in the league cup Home wins against City and Liverpool under Jose Southampton away FA cup
  13. Sky sports resident div Paul Merson apparently said Oscar should have been sent off for the dive
  14. Overrated? Yeah ok it's not like we get to the quarter finals or semi finals most seasons and probably should have won it 2 times before we actually did. Your muggy lot are average. At least we are respected as a good side in European football. You just think you are one of the big teams because you got to the qf recently. Well we don't give a shit. Like I have said before, nobody cares about Gala in the UK, we were delighted to get you because you are so average. When did you last win a European cup btw?
  15. Mustard away support as usual, great second half performance, drenched but very pleased. Well done Chels.
  16. Just gone through Woking. Home of the cock juggling thundercunt that is Martin Tyler.
  17. Forgot to mention, the class preaching morons were at it again yesterday. This time they pissed on graves in Brompton Cemetery near the ground. 3 of them were arrested. Seriously, I hate Man U and Spurs fans but Liverpool are a truly vile, vile club from top to bottom. In a different league to everyone else in the country.
  18. Really hope he stays longer than 4 years, he's basically God isn't he. Love how he makes us so hated, I feel the hate for us as a club dropped slightly in the Ancelotti/AVB years but now it's right back at the top. We thrive off it and the 'world against us' feeling.
  19. He's just getting better and better and better. Unbelievable again today, good movement, passing usually, his pressing high up the pitch and actually winning the ball back in those positions is superb too. Classy reaction from Skrtel there, who didn't even see the incident. Still, he plays for a classy club so what do you expect?
  20. Gonna piss it down and be very windy with a horrific new years hangover. Brilliant.
  21. Absolutely brilliant. These sort of wins are the best, so much more satisfying than a 6-0 against someone shit. When jt, luiz and Cahill are all on their knees, barely able to stand up for the last few minutes of added time you know they've given everything and that we deserved to win. The whole team was brilliant, especially the attacking midfielders. So proud of them. Support was very good too, we showed the self proclaimed best fans in Europe what real support is. Don't give a fuck if Suarez should have had a penalty. He's a cheating bastard. He almost cost us a place in the Champions League when he scored last season when he shouldn't have been on the pitch.
