Could we use him as part of a swap deal for Shaw? Tbh I think he is good enough to stay, he hasn't looked out of place in the games he has played and this could be Cole's last season. Although I rate Shaw I wouldn't put him straight into the first 11 as first choice left back, but rotate him with Bertrand. Would be a real shame if we let him go. Sack him. If we are to save our season we need him out the door first thing tomorrow, we are going nowhere with this clown. Get Ian Dowie in to steady the ship until the end of the season. Then we can start to look at real managerial options for the long term. I'm expecting a big name like Alex McLeish, Steve McClaren or Sammy Lee to arrive. We may even be able to prize Steve Bruce or Gareth Southgate away from their current positions.
