Am I the only one who thinks demoting Malouda to the Under 21 squad is a stupid and disrespectful decision? He really isn't that bad a player and was still able to do a job for us last season. He could have come in quite useful if we get lots of injuries or a fixture pile up around February/ March. He was also arguably one of if not our best player in 2009/10 and 2010/11. Towards the end of 2009/10 him and Drogba were getting the majority of our goals and assists and he was our joint top scorer in 2010/11 which as a winger was more than Drogba. It shows lack of respect to treat him like this because unless he was causing trouble in first team training then what harm was he to the squad?

The absolute model professional in my opinion. He never complained about always playing second-fiddle to Lampard in the attacking midfield position and always put in a great shift no matter where he played in midfield. Its a shame that his career with us ended with that injury in the FA Cup Final against Portsmouth and that he always seemed to be the nearly man for major honours even though he was such a fantastic player. Still, he might rectify that if he goes into management.

I don't want to sound complacent but we should easily win this with the way Norwich have been. As long as we have 2 of Oscar, Hazard or Mata in the team this should be one of the easiest league games we play this season. I'd give Ivanovic a rest and continue the centre back rotation by bringing in Terry for David Luiz. Cech Azpili Terry Cahill Cole Mikel Ramires Mata Hazard Moses Torres

So as we approach the business end of the season, we have to realise that there are no easy games in this league, especially Arsenal. Obviously, it is a league game so there won't be any magic of the FA Cup but it really is a 6 pointer. Hopefully the team will do the talking on the pitch but we have to realise that they are a difficult team to break down and it is a game of 2 halves. Its not over until the final whistle. We have a team good enough to win this, on the condition that they all give 110% but I fear Torres has lost half a yard of pace, although he does have a good touch for a big man. This is a game with history though, remember Cudicini a few years ago? That save from Henry was right out of the top drawer. I can't help but think we should have got a penalty for that foul on Mata last season- I have seen them given and Andre Santos had to go. Still, that goal he scored to make it 3-3- the stadium just erupted at that moment. It is up to him and Hazard tomorrow to run between the lines and Mikel to run his socks off in midfield. Unfortunately he is the last man we want a chance to fall to. Ramires will be invaluable because no only does he have bags of experience, he also has a great engine and a cultured right foot. Lets hope JT does not make any bad tackles tomorrow, there isn't a bad bone in the guy. As for Oscar, well he's on fire at the moment, he will cover every blade of grass tomorrow, but hopefully we won't see any schoolboy errors from the little starlet. (By the way, that 2nd goal against Juventus was almost hit too well) I hope that if we do end up behind, Di Matteo will make some inspired substitutions though, because although the league isn't won in September, it can certainly be lost. Anyway, lets hope it doesn't end up being men against boys and take this season one game at a time. Grinding out a 1-0 win against relegation candidates against the run of play, that’s the mark of true champions. My view of the game tomorrow in cliches

All but a handful of my Arsenal supporting friends have said that their new stadium has ruined what Arsenal meant as a club to them. They used to have a nice ground with a bit of character (part of the reason that Arsenal could build flats at Highbury so well is that 2 stands were listed buildings) and now have a soulless bowl stadium with no atmosphere which shows more regard for the prawn sarnie munchers than the real fans. There is no guarantee that ticket prices will go down or even stay the same should we build a new stadium and look what that has done for Arsenal. We can barely create an atmosphere at Stamford Bridge with ticket prices as they are so I would hate to think what a new stadium would be like with tickets that would probably be even more expensive. Also, why are so many people under the impression that we would fill a new 60k stadium? We had season tickets practically on general sale 2 years ago, most games have tickets that go to general sale and for COC and FA Cup games we often can't sell out unless the other team takes a large allocation. We would get 50-52k maximum every week in a new stadium IMO and that is with current ticket prices. Finally, as robdog said, some people have an attachment to the area around Stamford Bridge and the stadium itself. We don't and will not need a new stadium for at least 10 years IMO.

Load of bollocks We should smash up the FA Cup before returning it to them
-
Nope Cap has decided that he doesn't like Banana Republic any more. He has developed a crush on Twiggy from the Marks & Spencer adverts
-
Actually me and Cap are going on a date to the beautiful Isle of Fernandos! We were on Take me Out last week

Can't see Barca running away with it myself. They only scraped past Granada and have not been as convincing this season with the way they play. They used to comfortably beat teams like Osasuna and Granada 3-0 or 4-0 but are not doing that this season. They have 2 difficult games coming up too, Sevilla have looked quite unpredictable this season but managed to beat Real. And its only 2 weeks until el clasico.

It is still just polishing a turd for someone as ugly as Romeu.

go on holiday that week they said, we will just have a meaningless Capital One Cup game against a rubbish team they said
