-
Im sure that on this rare occasion Neil Warnock will say that the referee did an absolutely fantastic job

Problems: Drogba always scores against Arsenal Which of our full backs will be able to keep up with Walcott if he plays on the left wing

hopefully we will absolutely tonk them at the Bridge and those cocky little sh*** from down the road will learn to keep their gobs shut

What an absolute c*** Mr Foy is. He manages to book just about our whole team, mostly for petty little challanges which deserve a warning at most, yet when the chavs push our players over, try to rip their shirts off and fight with us they get away with it. I am proud of our team for the way we fought, just a shame an attention seeking little twat ruined it for us
-
shame you cant even spell its name

Nowhere can I see that we have actually applied for planning permission to expand Stamford Bridge since 2003

Chelsea legend. RIP

obviously you have not thought this through. We were formed in 1905 after STAMFORD BRIDGE was built and there was no club to fill it. As a result, Chelsea Football Club were created. We have played there through the good and bad times right from the beginning in 1905. When you are actually at Stamford Bridge you can only really appreciate this and see that this site was also where we were playing 106 years ago. Without it we would not exist as a club. If you went to Stamford Bridge you would realise that it is our TRUE home, not some horrible 65 000 bowl stadium in Wormwood Scrubs

The DJ is seriously running out of ideas. Twice in a row he has played 'Poker Face' at half time and every time we play Everton he plays 'Bulletproof'

The identity that we have as Chelsea football club which have played at Stamford Bridge since we were formed. We were formed because of Stamford Bridge so yes actually it is part of our identity. That 'concrete and metal' which you describe 'which would be nothing without games and players etc.' is the location of those memories that we have
-
even if he did many people would still not want to move. It would convince a few people though I'm sure because they would know what they would actually be voting for or against
-
yes partly that. They also dont want the club to move to an area far away from where we are at the moment, which would result in us losing our identity as Chelsea. We have played at Stamford Bridge for 106 years too (since we were formed) so many people see it as wrong for us to move away from our ground We can't move yet! We have just ordered a new TV screen for above the Matthew Harding Stand!!!!!

agreed. Their constant fouling and just about getting by without picking up yellows and reds is really annoying. I have hated them since they fluked that 3-3 draw against us in 2009 with one goal going 'post, Cech's head, post, in' and another which was a clearance which it Saha I think it was on the back. Beckford's goal last season was lucky too where he hit the ball against 2 defenders and both times the ball bounced straight back to him Their fans don't tend to be the nicest either and dont get me started on their manager who looks like an alien, Phil bloody Neville and Heitinga. One day their luck against us will run out and we will absolutely destroy them

I don't care what he did in Valencia, nobody (well Wayne Rooney perhaps) deserves to be treated in that way. OK on the pitch I dont much like Kalou as a player but he does put in effort and I am sure he does his best for the team. He seems like a really nice person off the pitch and so does not deserve to be treated like that. In 20 years time at the end of his career what will he think of the Chelsea fans? My bet is that he will think we are terrible supporters who had a hatred of him and did not love him as a player because he did not always play well for us. The odd 20 or so who are giving him this abuse are creating a dreadful image of the lot of us as fans and making us seem like bad people. Unfortunately this is not the first time I have commented on this forum about abuse which he gets from the so-called 'fans' on twitter. The mindless idiots bring down the reputation of all of us
-
unfortunately not because the hotels are, as mentioned owned by millennium and corpothone and contain appartments. There are also some houses behind the Shed end wall which are not part of the hotel complex which would not get enough light into their gardens
-
very interesting about stadium expansion. At least they have revealed that they have actually tried to get planning permission for certain things. Looks as if the East stand is a non-starter for redevelopment, The Shed end looks quite difficult although in my opinion it would be the easiest option to redevelop. I can see why a route to west brompton was rejected because there is hardly any space for a passage to be built along that route and the west stand would not really be possible to rebuild
-
I can see a lot of you saying that it should be called Stamford Bridge. I disagree for the simple reason that it would not be Stamford Bridge. It would not be that plot of land next to the Fulham road and 2 train lines if you get what I mean. We would be calling it something that it just is not. Arsenal did not call their new stadium Highbury, City did not call their new stadium Maine Road. It would seem like we are saying that it would be the same stadium that we have played in for 106 years
-
would it matter if it was called 'Samsung Arena' or similar? To us it would still be Stamford Bridge or Nine Elms or Battersea
-
The atmosphere will not 100% be shit. Porto, Benfica, Galatasary have moved to new stadiums recently and their atmosphere has not gone. The possibility of cheaper ticket prices might bring back some of the older, louder and more passionate fans at games
