Oscar has been laughably bad.
-
No tempo at all...
-
This is the first time Torres has been dropped, it's unbelievable considering how dire he has been in the last three years.
-
True but a lot of rumours surrounding those three in the past weeks, maybe one or two may go out on loan, I'm still surprised Torres is not in the squad at all, this is significant.
-
Salah, MVG and Torres not in the squad.
-
Don't worry about Luis, Mourinho is just going to ease him in. He'll get his chance in a few weeks to impress.
-
oh god....
-
lol we don't need him, some people are never satisfied. It was the same when Arsenal bought Sanchez...
-
Hazard on Costa:" He looks old, I think he’s old. He is 25 but I don’t know if it is true.''
-
Does anyone think Salah may benefit from going out on loan? he's not going to get much chances here tbh and Sunderland would be great for him especially under Poyet.
-
Will he suit Liverpool' style of play? we all know Liverpool play with pace and energy, Balo is the total opposite on the pitch, he struts around and can look lazy. I personally think Liverpool are partly singing him just because of the name, it's like a marquee signing for the fans. Rodgers apparently isn't too keen but the board want him and for that price he's ready to take that gamble.
-
In corners you just feel so confident with him in goal, Neuer is probably the best at coming out and collecting the ball but Courtois isn't far behind in that aspect. It's funny though in a t shirt he looks fairly slim and lanky, but in our kit he looks filled out and bulky.
-
He seems huge compared to Cech in that Picture.
-
Watching a few Youtube videos of him and he looks like a predator in the box, anyone what his overall game is like?
-
Rich mans Viera? Viera was one of the best midfielders in the world a decade or so ago. I'm sorry but no way should we spend that much on potential.
-
So you would be alright with us splashing £60million+ on him?
-
lol. he's on the last year of his contract. His wage demands may be high but lets be honest no team will offer him that much. Look at the clubs who are interested in him, Bayern and Arsenal, they both run a tight ship in terms of wages. These Pogba fanboys are too much.
-
If we were to buy another CM, i would much rather Khedira for £8-12 million than Pogba for £50+...
-
I'm not making it up, the Milan fans have had enough of his attitude and inconstancy. He's lazy, hardly presses, sulks and is inconsistent. It will be interesting to see how he fits into Liverpool' high pressing team.
-
He's talented but simply too much of a nutcase for my liking. He's one of the most frustrating players ever, if things are not going his way he walks around the pitch and does nothing. The Milan fans cant wait for him to be gone.

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x240k17_mourinho-a-lot-of-good-things_sport Mourinho interview after the Burnley match, like the fact that he says he wants us to continue playing this type of football.
-
I agree, but i wouldn't want Chelsea to be full of stars. We are finally balanced whereas Madrid are all over the the place.
-
4-3-3 Courtois Iva/Azpi - Cahill - Terry - Luis Khedira - Matic Cesc Schurrle - Costa - Hazard lol writing this line up made me realise buying Khedira may be a bit overkill but it does look beastly.
-
I loved how Matic, Cesc and Oscar all interchanged, at times Oscar was the furthest back. We played in little triangles which was fantastic to watch. Also I thought he was good yesterday, i don't understand why some people are slating him.

I wouldn't really worry about our defence, Burnley played with two big, physical strikers. It's not everyday John and Gary both have to deal with that. Burnley are also very direct, they hardly ever play it on the ground when pressured, very much of the old school style of football. Jose touched on it but we couldn't fully introduce our high pressing game beacuse they don't play out from the back, instead they would instantly look for the two big strikers. If you remember last season when we played Southampton at home we couldn't cope with their pressig so instead we bought on Ba and went direct, this meant that we could never be pressed beacuse as soon as we got that ball we would lump it in the box. In the PL the majority of teams try and play out from the back so expect to see our hig pressing a lot this season.
