Certain people should be banned from watching Pre season games, they clearly cant grasp the concept of 'pre season'.

Mikel should be sold imo, he will never improve and and although defensively he may be solid he just offers next to nothing going forward. .. tbh he's just uninspiring. Romeu has so much potential, he's a decent passer, very aggressive and presses well. I actually remember back in the AVB days he would be the only one in midfield who pressed the opposition.

What did Jose actually say about the Inter fans? Did he say it recently because I remember him saying something similar in the past.

Cesc - Matic Willian/Schurrle/Salah Willian/Oscar Hazard Costa This is how we'll most likely set up against the smaller teams imo, if Oscar regains his great form than i can see Willian playing on the right if not he'll repalce Oscar as the number 10. Ramires/MVG - Matic/Romeu Willian/Schurrle/Salah Cesc/Oscar Hazard Costa Against the bigger sides we'll be more cautious, Ramires will offer the legs and Cesc can push up forward and be the number 10. I highlighted who i think Mourinho would play in this situation. Our squad as a whole is amazing tbh, so much strength in depth, the only area that worries me slightly is the strikers but lets see if we bring anyone in, if not than i hope Costa can do the business.

The main reason Cesc is so important in the pivot is his ability to control the tempo and pace of the game. His passing is also on another level, we have no one like Cesc in our squad. Oscar doesn't offer anything new or different in the pivot Imo, We already have a player who can operate deeper, has good stamina and work rate, who can tackle and play box to box, that player is MVG.

It's weird that Lampard wanted to join City even if it's ony a loan, but come on how can this tarnish his legacy at this club? In 5, 10 or even 20 years time do you think we'll fucking remember that Lampard trained with them for a few months?

I think Cesc is more effective in a deeper role (especially in our system) but he can play in the number 10 role better than anyone else in our squad. In his last few season for Arsenal he played further forward and he was unbelievable, scoring goals and racking up assists for fun.

I dont get why people constantly say Hazard' best position is in the middle, IMO it isn't. He's best on the left where he has space to run into.

I wouldn't even say Salah' that good at dribbling, he mostly pushes the ball forward and runs. Willain can retain possession in tight areas and his close control is phenomenal. Different players really.

I still think he can be very effective in the number 10 role, it's just that yesterday we struggled to keep the ball, especially in the first half. Vitesse played the high line and their defence would press whenever our attackers had the ball, so for that reason I would have played him deeper where he can dictate the tempo of the game. But there will be times when we may need Cesc higher up the pitch to create goal-scoring chances, it all depends on who we're against.

Why is that guy so angry?
