Costa' second goal just typifies how cool, calm and collected he is in font of goal. As he was through Distin decides to throw his body in the way to try and block his shot, instead of turning onto his stronger foot Costa decides to go the opposite way, away from goal, does a little step over and finishes it with his weaker foot. What a goal. Now imagine if that was Torres, he would have panicked and Distin would most likely have blocked it.

My thoughts exactly.

Fucking insane game, we only had 12 shots and 30 percent possession but we were so clinical. I am a bit worried about the midfield, we were all over the place at times, we left so much space in the middle of the park it was unreal. I would have also liked to see us control the game more and keep possession for longer periods but i'm realistic, we were playing a very good Everton side at Goodison, it's never easy to play there. But enough with the negatives, we scored six fucking goals. Diego Costa is a beast, i fucking love him. Courtois made a few distribution errors but nothing too serious, he again was very good, that save towards the end was amazing. In all honesty this match is very hard to analyse, it was one of those crazy games that only happens once every season. Very similar to that 4-4 game against Tottenham a few years ago, i believe it was during Jose' first stint. I'm happy, the last few days have been amazing, may it continue. :blue scalf:

He may have preferred Destro, but why does that mean he cant like Remy? Jose and the board probably had many targets listed just in case.

Literally the most lazy comparison ever. Ba is more of a target man, holds up the ball and brings others into play, he's decent on the ball and has good movement. Remy is direct, fast and likes to get behind the defence, he also drops deep and gets involved more.

Bony and Benteke are very similar to Costa/Drogba in all honesty, Remy is a different type of player... pace, direct, good movement and finishing. Also when did Bony and Beteke become better than Remy? pretty even players in my eyes. If Sherry33 had his way we would have spunked £120 million on Pogba and Cavani...

Why are people putting Ba and Remy into the same category? Is it just because they both played for Newcastle? Remy is faster, better technically and adds something different to our squad.

I have to say this has been the perfect summer for Chelsea. We've bought three crucial players in Luis, Cesc and Costa, they will improve us massively. Courtois is finally in goal for us, Drogba' back and now Torres is gone!!... not to mention Remy looks likely to join. What a fucking window. All of our strikers from last season have now gone, Eto'o, Ba, Torres and (Lukaku).

So are we selling him or just loaning him out?

Remy is also technically astute while Lukaku obviously isn't, different type of strikers in all honesty. Imo Remy suits our style more than Lukaku.

Also remember Newcastle had a terrible second half to the season, he was basically carrying them at times.
