Who cares? how often does anyone put world beating performances against Stoke, they simply very rarely let it happen, even United limped to victory against them at Old Trafford infact even Barca won't get it all their own way if they ever faced Stoke.
-
Lets hope this puts an end to the tedious cry's to get him playing in other position's.
-
Correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure United needed 2 controversial pens to beat Stoke at Old Trafford and that was on a wide Old Trafford pitch. Narrow pitches like The Bridge suit Stoke down to the ground.
-
If Mourinho wins La Liga and especially the CL aswell he will leave Madrid no 2 ways about it. He would have toppled Barca on the 2 big front's, he will leave on that high. This year Barca have tinkered abit and dropped precious points, that won't happen again and Jose knows that.

RDM lost 0-3 at home to Stoke for West Brom last season i think.

Meireles defensive midfield against Stoke

If Kalou's inclusion keeps Malouda far away from the team then im not bothered.
-
Goalkeeper and defence look allright, dont like the look of the rest of the lineup tho.

Billy Clifford and Jacob Mellis banned from Cobham

Bit harsh kicking out one and not the other, maybe they see Billy as too good a talent to let go? -
Allright then just pretend for a minute he didn't cost £50m from Liverpool and was signed for £3m from Twente. We would be moaning every time this guy was on the bench let alone the first Xl. The bottom line is he just hasn't been good enough.
-
Ive got a headache just by looking at that emotion.
-
Regardless of what happens in the summer manager wise, i hope RDM is still here atleast as an assistant.
-
We all support him and hope among hope he can get back to his best, but im not going to give special treatment just because he cost £50m, so far he has been a disaster and most games he is absolutely awful. If he cost £3m and came from FC Twente and scored 5 in 50, were all be cursing his inclusion in the team, harsh but true.

What i find bemusing is we have given the job to Di Matteo until the end of the season (which is great, true blue blood is needed right now) but why didn't we do the same with Steve Clarke when Jose left? but then again he was the manager that year in everything but name.

That smiley use to get used a lot, now it's just Justin.

-----------------------Cech-------------------------- Ivanovic-------Luiz------Cahill/JT------Bertrand -----------------------Essien------------------------ ------------Ramires--------Raul------------------- Sturridge-------------------------------------Mata ------------------------Drogba---------------------- SUBS: Hilario, JT/Cahill, Romeu, Lampard, Kalou, Lukaku, Piazon. Yes before you ask i have left Torres out deliberately.
-
Torres has been shit for most off our games for us that is the bottom line, ok he may work hard but that leway isn't granted for Kalou so why should it be for the 180k a week man?

These days you can still be classed as a kid/youngster until you're 25, or 27 in Kalou's case -
The point im trying to make is from the MHL it looked like it went in off the bar and Torres scored, when the announcer said "number 8 Frank Lampard" most of the tier moaned like the goal was disallowed and spent most of the next 10 minutes chanting "Torres Torres", so the guy may suffer from many things at Chelsea but lack of support isn't one of them. Imagine if Kalou kept getting picked under the same circumstances? their be full scale riot's in the stadium.
-
Lets hope we don't mark this by fucking up at home to Stoke.

What the hell was Rafeal doing for the 3rd goal?

The more i think about it the more i am convinced Jose is the only man to take us forward. Who else is there that wouldn't be a huge risk? Pep and Bielsa have a pacific style of football that won't work with what we have. Pep apparently suffers from the stress off managing and that's with Barcelona, imagine with us? Bielsa would need massive personnel changes because his style is the same as as AVB's was at Porto, so unless the old guard are shipped straight out it will just be this season all over again. Joachim Low has not been a club manager since 2004, we already took a similar risk with Scolari that backfired no way can we risk taking that chance again. Rafa just don't. We keep hearing this Mourinho doesn't do long term but hasn't he clearly stated his intention to do that? He has said in a live interview that he planned to stay at Chelsea for a long time before he "parted company". Plus despite every one thinking on the contary he is better with young players than people give him credit for, blooded Diarra and Mikel in the team as teenagers, would have given Sammy Hutchinson more chances if it weren't for injury's, gave Huth his fair share of games and was slowly blooding Sinclair until he got the boot. Get him in let him create his new team, build his new spine, as much funds as is possible and he will make us win again and even if he does "walk out in 3 years" he will (like last time) leave us with a strong squad, only this time we should build on that instead of letting the grass grow under our feat. Jose is the only option for me, i usually object to 2nd coming's and have been against Jose returning for years before now but it's got to the point were he is the only option.
-
If he comes in he we have to learn from AVB's mistake and ditch the squad assesment and get the old guard out straight away.
-
He's the best at "sweeping up" against the lesser side's which is why he wins so many league title's compared to knockout cups. The most annoying thing about the Barca match in 2009, is that in Rome Hiddink would have mullered Fergie on a tactical level.
-
Fergie's is a shite tactiction always has been, he has an inferior record against nearly every top manager he has faced, Jose, Pep, Carlo, even Wenger upto a couple of years ago.
