@Idiot Are you one of the 2 new teams? -
Ive got an idea. From this moment on we don't comment in this Torres thread until he actually scores. All in?
-
We've kept 13 clean sheets this year, Luiz started 11 of those games at average of a clean sheet every 2.45 games, without him we average one clean sheet in 6. Liability??????

The thought of AVB getting sacked and these well fed "superstars" meeting for a "gathering" toasting another "victory" makes my blood boil.
-
The Emirates game depends on the approach and what lineup we actually put out. Ivanovic, Luiz, Terry and Cole back four with Romeu and Essien holding we will piss on them in the counter attack but anything similar to the team we played against them at Stamford Bridge it could turn pretty nasty. City of Manchester if we can dig deep we can get a point, infact this match will be the first for a long long time i will genuinely delighted with a point, i would settle for points away at most big games but i wouldn't celebrate like we won but City's home record and the way we are playing means i would probably this time. Anfield i can't see us getting anything out of, Queen Jenny just seems to have us sussed and Liverpool always treat our games like cup final's.
-
They still look clueless against the lesser sides, i still expect the Stoke's and Wigan's of this world to get result's at Anfield.
-
We might finish below Spurs and possibly Arsenal, but Liverpool??
-
If he didn't cost £50m every fan would be cursing his inclusion in the team rather than applauding every semi decent thing he does and cursing other players for not passing to him.

The 24 team's for the 3 division's has been filled, if we get enough interest i don't see why we can't set up a 4th division, which you can come into to. If not there will be some spaces at the end of this season aswell Final decision is up to LDN Blue as he's the league admin. -

We have 24 teams now so whenever LDN's ready he can set up the new season in that way we can get our new set of fixtures. -
Seriously? Im not being funny but they have not gone above us all season infact they haven't been above us in the table AT ANY POINT since 2008/2009. The best they have got is level on points and even that has only happened twice (one of which in August this year after the first 3 games). How can they be better than us? :/
-
David Luiz is NOT a midfielder, he played there for Benfica a few times and wasn't great, he did ok considering he was out of position but he is a centre half. In a reverse way i just want him to play there for a match to make every-one realize this because if anyone is expecting a re-born Iniesta your be in for a nasty shock.

When i was at the Sunderland game we all thought Torres's overhead kick went in off the crossbar and not Lamps (from the MHL) when Neil announced Lamps as the goal scorer their was groans like the goal was disallowed. Fucking pathetic!!!!!!
-
Point is you can't judge players on trophy haul's alone, otherwise Benni McCarthy would be better than Fat Ronaldo.
-
Wes Brown's trophy haul 5 Premier League's 2 FA Cup's 3 League Cup's 2 Champion's league's you were saying?
-
Right now if we had to keep one of Kalou or Malouda this summer, ill keep Kalou everytime. Kalou tries to make things happen and tries to liven us up and once in a while suceed's in doing just that. Malouda it's just 40 yard shot's, back passes or running into the first defender, very repetitive and boring.
-
oh FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
-
Yeah forgot about those 2. However with Sturridge's new contract situation he's bound to go up to the 90-100k barrier if he stays at-all
-
But they still spent that money on championship players

I don't know how the faith in Torres is still going strong with some. I was one of his biggest backers up until about October, i was convinced his barren run was a one off and he would come good for us but since then he has beaten his previous 17 game barren run, time to face facts the lad is finished. We will here the excuses about lack of service from the other players but many times at his peak he use to pick up the ball put defenders on their arse and finish with aplomb, he even chipped in with his fair share of long range goals, those type of goals don't need world class service so why can't he do that here? I don't want to hear the he has made a few assist's here and there strikers are here to score and the only time a forward can get away with a reasonably poor goal record is if he makes up for it in literally every other department, like Dennis Bergkamp for example but even he would not have got away with 5 goals in 46 games. The fact that 4 of his 5 goals came in 4 games and the other came against West Ham makes this even worse.

Worst thing is that apart from this deal we have been clever with transfer's and wages in recent season's. Ramires is on something like 60k a week, Luiz is on something similar and we managed to haggle down the transfer price for him, Romeu is on 20k, Mata is on 55k, Meireles is on something similar also. Cahill is on 80k which isn't that much for our recent standards, So we blow our recent wage (and transfer) reduction's out of the water with this deal. We should pull on Leti's heartstrings and offer £20m plus Torres and an extended Courtious loan for Falcao. As for the £50m, lets pretend we spent £73m on Mata.
-
Next 5 games are Bolton, West Brom and Stoke in the league plus Birmingham in the FA and Napoli in the CL. Safe to say this is save our season month.

Can't be doing with Malouda any more, his long range shooting and running in the first defender is driving me mad. Would rather Kalou plays atleast he frustrates for 89 minute's then does something half decent in the exception minute. We need the most hungriest and paciest team out there tommorow, which is why Cole, Meireles, Lampard, Torres, Malouda and even Drogba under normal circumstances should be on the bench if not in the stands, but we know it won't happen
