  1. Even when he is doing shit he gets the most support, in the Sunderland match i went too when Torres messed up and miscontrolled the crowd applauded and were like unlucky, Malouda did something identical 2 minutes later and the crowd cursed and called him every name under the sun.
  2. What i don't understand is why does Torres get away with shit performances because he puts effort in but not Kalou? For the record i don't think either are any good and with a full squad neither should be any where near the team. But some double standards i have seen with Torres in this last year has been astonishing.
  3. That's nice i hope you enjoy next season with Rafa incharge and Malouda and Lampard playing every week.
  4. Wish we would stop this hope. Drogba and Torres (whenever their on the pitch at the same time) for months play like they don't even know each other then a couple of decent passes to each other and all off a sudden we might get this world class partnership They haven't even scored when they have both been on the pitch together and that doesn't look like changing let alone them forming an even semi good partnership, its not going to happen, best for all of us if we just accept it.
  5. With Milan fluking it against Real or Barca after beating Bayern would be perfect, should we do the buisness in our side.
  6. He should always be the firstnameon the teamsheet, PFA RB of the year in 2009/2010 but yet somehow Bosingwa still wormed his way back in
  7. What won us the tie? Mata's goal in Naples? no Ivanovic's goal? no A certain number 16's yellow card in the first leg.
  8. "Cavannnniiiiiii" its got the a last minute winner commentary sound to it
  9. We taking a punt with another member of Mourinho's staff This guy could be our new manager
  10. Just like with Everton, eventually Liverpool's recent luck against us will run out and we will absolutely destroy them. What better time than the FA Cup final?
  11. Remember couple of years back the world and it's dog were screaming for Danny Alves to be "tried" as a winger, Pep did it at the Bernabeu of all places and Alves flopped. Defenders that are good going forward don't automatically mean they will do well in a further forward position.
  12. That's allright, im sure Torres sale would make up for it
  13. We didnt flop that bad after Jose and we had Avram Grant.
  14. We had a lot of injuries in 06/07 and 07/0 but still managed to push United all the way both times.
  15. Taking a treble winning Inter side that also won 5 league title's in a row to 7th place is not unlucky, it's pure shite managing.
  16. Who knows maybe Moyes will be an exception to the rule but he has had the mid table will do mentality for years at Everton, it isn't easy to just change that mindset and adapt to a team with an owner that expects the lot.
  17. 2 names im going to mention quickly, Sam Allardyce and Roy Hogsdon. 2 manager's that worked wonders at mid table teams with limited budget's, got them into Europe and punching well above their weight. Got top jobs at Newcastle and Liverpool respectively and both made absolute pig ears of it. If both stayed at Bolton and Fulham i guarantee a fair number of Chelsea fans would be calling for one of those 2 to come in. Bare that in mind when calling for Rodgers or Moyes.
  18. Ive tried this before but it didn't work so lets try it again. From this moment no one comment on this thead until Torres scores, call it a strike, whos in?
  19. Because he still offer's the most going forward and he was fantastic in the last do or die CL tie against Valencia. For me Luiz-JT is still number one partnership, Cahill for me is immediate back up to both and a very good one may i add.
  20. Luiz has to start at CENTRE HALF, he is not the sort of player you leave out when chasing a tie.
  21. Can't believe some of the stuff i am reading. We never once looked like conceding, we had total control of the match and kept going at Stoke until eventually we found a breakthrough. If United produced a performance like that you would all be in the english football thread waxing lyricals about how it.
  22. You just knew Madrid would win that, now lets hope Barca drop points and give Madrid even more breathing space.
  23. No im just getting bored of all these Torres excuses, he's been shit for us and if he didn't cost £50m his inclusion in match day squad's would cause full scale riots.
  24. He could have been the answer to our forward problem this season. But no Fernando will come good, he shows flashes once a month.
  25. The team that went down for 10 men will go ultra defensive like Stoke did and United would eventully grind them down (which we did).
