It does seem like it seems non debatable that Xavi and Iniesta are the 2 best CM's in the world and its not up for debate because their Barca players. A bit how Pique is lauded as world class when defensively he isn't actually anything to shout about. Personally if we go by respective peaks id take Pirlo over both Iniesta and Xavi.

I never said it was a mistake far from it what i meant was last season Mata was the driving force in everything we did good when Eden and Oscar came i think the general consensus is that he was set to take a bit of a back seat and in the first few games it looked that way. Since his break tho Mata has roared back to even better form than he was last season. He's like the mate you spend less time with when someone "new and flash" comes along but eventually your realize that he is the best mate.

Mata's 'done a Drogba' this season. We signed Hazard and Oscar and we thought the days of Mata being our best player were over, but he has proved us wrong in the best way, with performances on the pitch.

@Kojo, I meant Hazard would not be playing for us. Oscar there was still a possibility as their was not that much demand to him so there is a chance we might have still got him but we would have got no chance of getting Hazard He may have seen Spurs as a possibility and a attractive proposition but there was a major obstacle to any possibility of him ever ending up at The Lane, Daniel Levy, no chance in hell would he have splashed out the required cash to get him.

If you want my advice, scrap it and just buy youngsters in the market, much cheaper.
